I want to do this project. Need to know the block count an the plans. Could u help a brother out.
I purchased the plans from backyardflare. I think it was $30-$40. Included is a list of supplies and estimated cost. Obviously overall cost depends on finishes, additional labor, etc. I highly advise purchasing the plans as he included tips and tricks and is also a great resource for any questions you might have. Happy building
This is amazing, Do you have a set of plans you were going off or just winging it?
Thanks. Actually bought the plans off of backyardflare. Slightly modified to fit my design.
Awesome, Thank you!
Good morning, is the base all cinder blocks or did you use a cinder block border and some type of fill? Thanks in advance.
Yes base is all cinderblock on top of concrete slab
@@WinnyDaddyDIY Thank you!
@@WinnyDaddyDIY Ooops I replied from my family account (bigtank). Thanks again!!!!
Which plan from backyardflare are you building? Great work.
Hey using the PIMA II plan with slight chimney modification.
@@WinnyDaddyDIY Good deal, that's the one I'm looking at. Due to the weight, how thick is your concrete pad under the fireplace?
4in
Is there a rule on the firebox size & how tall the chimney should be for it to draw properly?
I’m sure there is. Because it’s outside and I’m just burning gas I wasn’t too worried about it.
Keep up the good work and don’t forget to wear gloves when touching concrete mix.
Definitely 🤙
