After a disastrous campaign in the Southern Empire and the biggest betrayal by the Queen of the Empire, Thoman is left with nothing.
The Black Guard has been decimated and every single man besides TommyKay has been lost.
Is this the end of his story?
NO IT'S NOT!
Thoman might be the last man standing, but he still carries the Black Banner and the Black Sword with him.
He will return to Battania, his homeland, and start to rebuild the Black Guard and reform the greatest army Calradia has ever seen.
We will learn from the mistakes of the past and achieve glory in our Bannerlord Story of a young man from Battania.
We were fools to trust the Empire and this mistake shall not repeat itself.
The betrayal of the Queen will never be forgotten and that woman will pay for her sins one day.
For now Tommy Kay and his Twitch Chat Band will rebuild, win dozens of battles, teach you all how to do some proper crafting and return to our mercenary ways.
War is always profitable and if we need one thing, that would be money.

I was once outnumbered 5 to 1 in a siege 1000 vs 200 of us - I defended and soon there were just 10 Enemys against 40 of my units. I wanted to clean up but received an Arrow out of nowhere and fell. I was expecting a victory - but my people were going in 1 after another dying - and losing morale. It was a crushing defeat...

@@TommyKay Apparently I played Bannerlord for 478 hours this week alone - 8832 hours in total - yeah my Graphics software broke I guess - updating it for the first time in 10 months.

Just won a siege, there was 100 vs 1200 of them and i somehow won only losing around 70 troops and killing all of them.

The intro battle was literally like Cannae. The empire had more troops, but was surrounded and grinded down
kind of what was i going for

More like carrhae because they just formed a defensive circle and got picked off by cavalry

Tommy what do you think about the new bannerlord update where you can turn companions into vassals and lords
to turn them into a lord:
500 influence
20k gold
And a fief
Turning campanions into lords make them spawn their own tier 2 clan(that you can name) with 2 more lords in them
That was already in Warband 2 lmao, surprised it took them this long to implement it in bannerlord.

@@juancarlos-oc4qi Warband (with mods) is better than bannerlord now, but when taleworlds finishes fleshing out bannerlord and releases steam workshop, bannerlord will be 10 times better than warband.

I had a situation in Bannerlord where my army was about to siege a city where Garios and an army of around 1200 something came out of the city and encountered my battered army of 750 something can't remember the exact numbers. As a man of roleplay I treated it like a last stand and at first my infantry was getting decimated till it swung around and I routed the huge army. Moments like these are the reason I'm addicted to Bannerlord also just found out today that Markoni actually runs this channel so I hope you had a great day Markoni your edits are incredible

if you have 3 line thick archers use loose formation. Otherwise the behindmost line wont fire
The strat I use to take on armies 4X my size is; 1/2 infantry, 1/4 archers, 1/4 mixed cavalry. Run my archers to the top of the nearest hill (can be a tiny bump in the terrain) and place my infantry in a shield wall infront and below the archers. While my archers safely pepper the enemy, I harass their ranks with my cav. When the enemy is forced to attack my shield wall, swing around and charge them in their rear with my cav, sandwiching them.
Now if I could only figure out how to take a castle on my own 🤔

That opening betrayal reminded me of Dragon Age Origins opening at Ostagar.
You should do a bandit play through were you can't recruit units only from prisoner and from rescued prisoner and you can recruit bandit units

I hate the control system in banner lord, the idiotic ai leads your men to the slaughter. I raged last time I played bannerlord, warband is just way better and I can't justify the pain of playing bannerlord.
This game is so fuc... boring, the early and mid game are fun, but the end game is just boring af
Yeah they are def missing a lot rn. I might come back to it if they fix sieges but until then it doesn’t real finished. The most fun way to play I found was making a Mongol horde of pure khuzait horsemen and just stomping out everyone
