it seems to me like the reason why ur not blocking (not sure if it's with shields too) is because ur not letting go of the block button to readjust ur blocking area, holding it down and moving it will not change the direction of where u are blocking

Here's some tips
I've been playing warband and the original M&B since 2010, always go in with a block. Once you master blocks, then you can attack :)

Tommy use hardwood to grind your smithing skill. If you take weapons and refine them down and sell the materials you will make a lot back, especially if you buy hardwood and use the charcoal to refine the materials into steel/fine steel. You also get parts and a ton of XP.
This Game is so Fucking Amazing! You can really see Tommy enjoys it aswell. Great Video

For people saying they can’t run it and know their computer is good, might be the RAM it says recommended RAM is 8 but that fills up rq when playing bannerlord, so if you got the money maybe buy a memory stick and that could help
