I agree with Rado's beeds of rice bracelet being very nice. I have it with my Captain Cook and it is amazing...even compared to much more expensive watches from my collection
I bought a Rado true several years ago still gorgeous. I first saw it in a cruise ship shop and it was up against rolex breitling and omegas but still managed so stand out with a particularly deep shine the ceramic body and bracelet looks like nothing else
Well done for giving Rado some attention. They're not well known in the west, but if you go to places like India they're absolutely huge over there, we're taking better brand recognition than Rolex.
No, dude. Rolex still has a better brand recognition in India than Rado. I'm an Indian. There are better household name watches like Titan, Fastrack both of which owned by the Indian company Tata (the same owners of Jaguar and Land Rover), and then some smartwatches. But every one who knows a decent amount of the world would know Rolex irrespective of their ability and/or interest to buy them. Rado is picking up though.

Housing the same powermatic 80 movement as the PRX powermatic. A great watch to pick up if you’re looking for one that you don’t see in everyones budget watch collection.

Context is interesting though. In comparision to watches costing £4K+ sure they are 'affordable'. Thing is most people would not consider a £1300 watch affordable let alone a $2000 watch. Over fourteen years ago I can remember giving a friend an absolute ton of shit about a £1200 watch (might have been slightly more can't remember) that he purchased. With inflation that's nearly a £2000 watch now🤦. Those are still hugely aspirational prices for the majority of people.
I got myself the seiko ssk003 for my birthday/graduation present. I'm super proud to own one, I know they're not that expensive but life has been a rollercoaster financially and emotionally these past years for me, I would have never been able to imagine the stability I have now so to celebrate I finally got myself a treat, for me this watch will always remind me of that time I finally overcame the hardships! Thanks Nico for keeping my spirits high with the videos, love from an Indonesian 21 year old in Taiwan!
got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on MAMACOO 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.
The Longines Master Collection, with its multiple complications and the beauty of the dial with blue markers and hands looks like it could easily be significantly more expensive than it is. The new Zenith Defy Skyline also looks like it could easily be two or three times its actual retail value.
Longines is killing it. Between the zulu time gmt. and the new 2023 conquests. I think they're going to be a much more popular brand going forward if they keep it up
With the Omega Deville, you're buying it for the brand obviously, but if you have a smaller wrist (as I do) it looks great in the way an Invicta looks gaudy. It's my most expensive watch and it's about how it makes you feel, so it's worth every penny.
Holy crap, never thought I’d see Christopher ward getting some love!! Not complaining as I’m a huge fan and wear a 42mm trident pro daily! Stunning watches for the little they cost.
I bought a watch from amzwatch lightly used for my last milestone birthday. Don't wear it as much as it deserves, but not afraid to, either. It's stunning . Good taste, Sir.
My wife’s wedding gift to me was a brown leather strap and white dial Baumé & Mercier Clifton and it’s my most sentimental watch. Glad to see the brand mentioned as it’s never talked about.
I’m surprised you’ve never mentioned a Longines Hydroconquest. On pictures it might not look spectacular, but in real life it’s amazing. The build quality of that watch goes far beyond the price tag. I have a green dial and bezel version on a steel bracelet and everyone seems to come to me and compliment it😂😅😊. Also some thought it’s a rolex from a few meters away, which was surprising to hear honestly. It’s my first ever good watch and I love it. It was a present for 18th
I have the green dial on bracelet too, but I had the bracelet removed and now have it on a NATO, which I can swap at will. I found the bracelet to be too wobbly in the links and did not like it. Great watch, if it was 22mm lug to lug would be sooo much better though!
I was waiting for a Longines as well! I personally have the blue hydroconquest dial and people think i broke the bank with it. Its a stunning watch and great on price!
I m actually curious to hear what your take is on Christopher Ward. They make such interesting watches, like the Bel Canto and the moon watch. It seems like they give good value for money. Maybe you make make a vid about this. Curious to hear your opinion 🤔
My personal pick would be (and actually was) a Longines Master Control Chronograph. There are a few versions of it, most have too many little dials crammed on, but the one with just 2 is the absolute business. Also, it would be nice to see a Bremont there, they make some amazing watches and aren’t too pricy.
The Mido Belluna and Belluna II series of watches are between $1000-1800, but you can find them for as cheap as 500 on the grey market new. And there are many great Baume & Mercier classy looking watches, and you can new Hamptons at reputable discount dealers for very good prices like a M0A10027 $1,139, or the MOA10028 for 1,345. But B&M are very underrated. And there are some very high end looking Tissot watches you can find though discount AD's for really good prices.
Finally you mentioned the watch brand Rado. Really would like you to make a separate vid on this brand alone as this would bring a lot of attention to the channel and brand😅

Been watching your videos for a while now and was inspired to start a collection. Started with the AMZWATCH, its specs for price and clean looks, now am looking for a dress watch to add.
The Seiko Presage line looks way more expensive then it is, also in my opinion a pre owned Longines DolceVita around $1000 looks even more expensive then the Cartier Tank and in my opinion is one of the best looking rectangular watches. Oh yes anything Christopher Ward looks and feels much more expensive then it is. I love my Sandhurst gen 1 and would put it up against the Tudor Ranger any day of the week 😊😊😊
This is really great but, if you want to get timepieces that look 10x their price at least, go with Tufina, Aragon, or Égar - especially that last one. Get a King Ocean and people will think it's a Rolex; get a Viking for that modern AP vibe; and even... get a Patriot Steel that literally looks like a Richard Miller!!! And the Aragon Superjet matte gold with matching bracelet WILL be mistaken for a Yachtmaker (or a cross between that and a Tag Heuer with the red accent on the crown). And if that is still too much money, get a Timex Marlin!!!
Yes, I have bought from amzwatch more than once. I even bought a new Omega Speedmaster which came with the fancy box and packaging. I am thrilled with all my purchases here. I would purchase from amzwatch again for sure.
Damn it Nico..... I stumbled across your channel the other day and subscribed. I haven't purchased a watch in a long time and my small collection was shite uneducated purchases Today I casually walked into my local jeweler and spotted the Tissot case. Tried a PRX, Gentleman and Seastar. Walked out with the Seastar and now have a Longine Master Collection Moonphase and Tudor Black Bay GMT in my online cart. Just when I thought I was out, you pulled me back in. Damn you! 😅
I love that Hamilton, but my first luxury watch was my Tudor Black Bay Bronze. The Hamilton looks like a more affordable version of my watch. Excellent choices, sir!
I bought a vintage rado musketeer iv from the 70s recently. its my first automatic watch (although I have many old manual wind watches including some from ww1 but most of them don't work) and it has aged beautifully. rado deserves some more attention especially to their vintage watches. they are quite overlooked and they don't go for too much from what I see. mine was 250 quid (although finding a genuine one like mine is quite hard I see loads of Japanese replicas) and are definitely worth looking at. just pay attention of where they come from, if its from Japan or middle east its most likely fake
I just got into watch collecting. I've loved watches since I was young but I never had anyone teach me or bring deeper into the world. amzwatch brought closer to a community and hobby I always wanted to get into more and that is incredibly meaningful to me !
Seen some comments about the Longines Hydroconquest and I completely agree. I got the smaller version in quartz from my grandmother when I graduated university. My first ever "proper watch". Wish I got it in automatic, but not the end of the world. Bang for the buck, and it'll always remind me of my grandmother.

Opinions on Frederique Constant? Love many of their watches, they have in-house tourbillon, they have actively participated to watchmaking by implementing the open heart complication, and a lot of cool watches can be found between 1.3 and 2k+, really looking forward to hearing your opinion on it
You NEED to review the clip on an old Top Gear episode when they were talking about the launch of the Bugatti Veyron. Jeremy clarkson had on a Bugatti watch and he did his own short review of it. Absolutely hilarious. And expensive. I’d love to see your take on it.
I really don't understand Nico sometimes, he said a lot of times that Seiko is a good watch for the money for some of their watches, and he recommended them not only once. But everyone seems to hate them, now i went and bought a new Seiko watch and listened to Nico fully and placed my limted budget on a Seiko Now i am in complete love for the watch it looks amazing and beautiful but now i hear people hating on it and shit, not like i am going to stay with this watch for the rest of my life, but just a question to anyone who sees this, is Seiko is really a bad for a first watch?
Nothing wrong with Seiko for a first watch. My first automatic was a SKX0013 and I loved it and kinda regret selling it. If you’re happy with your watch then fuck what anyone else thinks.
As far as I know that particular Hamilton model is hand-wind mechanical, not automatic. There's also an automatic version in stainless steel though, but the seconds hand is not a separate dial, and it's cheaper.
Fully agree on the CW, so far their Bel Canto, Twelve and trident pro 300 are amazingly good value. I have the bel canto and twelve Ti on order and thinking of a bronze trident pro 300. The build quality and finish for the money is shockingly good and my collection runs from Casio to VC and I have seen many pretenders to the superb value to cost ratio but CW is the real deal.
I prefer the ceramic range with Rado, its what I associate with the brand. I've got one as a gift with 4 diamonds inside. I mainly wear my Omega Seamaster 300m, but wear the Rado when dressing smart, it gets a lot of attention for a watch worth a quarter of the Omega.
Im not a wealthy guy, I live in the philippines so I dont earn much cuz of salaries over here, but my goal is to own a rado, growing up my dad always spoke highly about them and always wore a two tone one and I always thought they were so cool, I mean now being older I dont think I would wear one daily like he did but would love one as a piece I can keep forever and wear on special occasions. Buying one will be a big step in life for me as itll take a lotta hard work, the golden horse looks like the rado Im gonna get now, thanks nico!

I love that Hamilton, but my first luxury watch was my Tudor Black Bay Bronze. The Hamilton looks like a more affordable version of my watch. Excellent choices, sir!
i'm surprised to not see Zodiac Sea Wolf in this selection. The Christopher ward C63 GMT you're next in my collection :D
Great List Nico! I just picked up a Christopher Ward C60 Elite 1000. It's good to see CW getting some love on your channel!
Timex marlin 1968 reissue is a good pick I always get compliments on it
Great to see Christopher Ward being featured
Longines is so underrated. I would pick it over any of these brands mentioned.
Casio LCW-M100TSE-1AER Sapphire window- Case Material Titanium- Bezel Material Titanium-Radio Controlled, Solar Powered, Stop Watch, Timer- £255.00 amazon Bargin my next watch maybe
i’ve been eying the Rado cpt cook and the golden 🐴
stunner’s for sure..👍
Opinions on Frederique Constant?
Love many of their watches, they have in-house tourbillon, they have actively participated to watchmaking by implementing the open heart complication, and a lot of cool watches can be found between 1.3 and 2k+, really looking forward to hearing your opinion on it
Got the Omega Speedmaster Reduced two tone, with 18k rose gold bezel, crown and pushers. It costs only about 1.5k / 2k and its an absolute looker!
I think some Atlantic Worldmaster would fit this list perfectly
That bronze Khaki is beautiful 7:50
@@13Tyres Thanks man! Amazing to hear!
I'm happy to see Christopher Ward getting some love!
👏
I prefer the ceramic range with Rado, its what I associate with the brand. I've got one as a gift with 4 diamonds inside.
I mainly wear my Omega Seamaster 300m, but wear the Rado when dressing smart, it gets a lot of attention for a watch worth a quarter of the Omega.
Great video mate, love the Christofer ward gmt, waiting on part 2 with maybe watches available for $1000
What are your thoughts on “Frederique constant?” Pls
The plebs who watch this will never buy Rado because their friends won’t recognize it.
Blimey..kittys got claws..
You should start a list of watches that are not Swiss made, maybe a list of watches from x and y countries
That C63 is an absolute beauty....
I have a Rado Ceramica XL and I love that watch. I’m a taller guy so it fits me well. I actually get more compliments on it than my Daytona 😂
God!!! MAMACOO Who would have thought those gorgeous watches go for that low!!!
