However lve always been cautious and have experienced everything he talks about. lve only had one fake friend of 30 yrs who stabbed me out of jealousy....all the subtle signs were there over the yrs but she made a move that showed me l had to let her go. l cut her cold and felt nothing and many times she's tried to come back but no way. One bite was enough.

I had a female in my class like that she comes off friendly, but something was off about her vibe. She was a larger female and would size me up from head to toe when she thought I was not looking!!! She was also a very noisy.
Due to negative experiences from people who recommend I smile when I'm not feeling it, I am now steering clear of fake and miserable people pleasers who want me to be like them and hide my true feelings, because those people who aren't authentic will be jealous of you because they don't feel strong enough to show how they really feel and will take that bitterness behind the smile out on you, even though they are perfectly capable of being just as real but low self esteem says the mask is better and being yourself might push people away. That's only half true. Being as real as I can, truthful but not rude, you attract like minded authentic people and the fake ones will feel that energy and run, so the people I push away are doing me a favor, because fake smiling belies negative energy.
Yup I get that all the time too, the "just smile and don't show how you really feel" - I even got that when I had just suffered horrendous abuse! Well, after just having suffered false allegations and subsequent arrest, my cat being murdered, having been beaten to a pulp, having been threatened or having been hounded out of my job with false allegations, or any of the other atrocitites I had to endure, I might not feel like grinning my head off! Under normal circumstances I do like to smile - but then it's genuine, and if I'm not feeling like it then I don't want to fake it just to be like these fake people! One of the people telling me to fake grin was a woman who had married for money instead of for love - now that's what I call a fake person!

I love this, and I want to add that every tear you see regarding something you've accomplished is not necessarily a tear of joy or encouragement. Sometimes they are tears of jealousy because they couldn't stop you from achieving your ultimate goal. Or perhaps because you never allowed your obstacles to hinder your focus. Sometimes it's because they wish they could replace you. But they never did any of the work even to become a competitor of yours. They just remained on the sideline of your life, sometimes right amid your circle on the sideline of your life watching you toil and strain getting things done never really supported you. I worked in a factory for 17 years. Most people when they wanted something from me I always told them money talks. Mainly cause they wanted rides or help moving. A select few got me to do things for free just cause there good people and they had my back

I smile a lot. Only when I feel happy. I'm pretty transparent though. I don't feel like most people are trying to be fake, I just think that they don't know how to express how they're feeling. So it's easier to smile and watch and not deal with it for some people. Trust me. Whenever I'm having a bad day people come up to me and be like Manda what's the matter? So sometimes I act like I have a smile when I'm feeling really sad. But it don't matter, people can see right through me anyway. That's how f****** transparent I am.

yeah.... I stopped the practice of smiling when I learned that smiling can make me vulnerable. I only smile when I ABSOLUTELY have to. You can't just go around giving your smile away to everybody.

I smile a lot. Only when I feel happy. I'm pretty transparent though. I don't feel like most people are trying to be fake, I just think that they don't know how to express how they're feeling. So it's easier to smile and watch and not deal with it for some people. Trust me. Whenever I'm having a bad day people come up to me and be like Manda what's the matter? So sometimes I act like I have a smile when I'm feeling really sad. But it don't matter, people can see right through me anyway. That's how f****** transparent I am.
