It is said that your true self comes out when you are intoxicated and sometimes as a photojournalist, you just have to let the camera roll.
The female driver of the Mercedes crashed into the curb at J St & Glover Ave. The driver continued onto J St. but had to stop in the middle fo the oncoming traffic lane due to the damage to her car.
Officers arrived and found a half-full bottle of Hennesy inside the vehicle and the female appeared to be intoxicated. She became belligerent and insulting to everyone involved at one time or another. Then the crying and begging started and then back to being aggressive.
She was arrested for the DUI.

In Britain if you talk like that to anyone in public, especially a cop, you are charged with a "Public Order" offence and in the back of the van in about 30 seconds. Too bad they don't have that in the US.
Unfortunately, her talking like that would be fought under the 1st amendment. Funny thing is, I have seen video of a drunk white person taken down to the ground for a racist rant because the white cop "isn't going to put up with that talk".
It's getting to the point that good cops are afraid to upset the black community, even when they're doing their job correctly, in case another neighbourhood gets destroyed; but have no issue with doing their job as necessary with whites.
Don't get me wrong, there are issues with policing that need to be addressed, but, not everything that happens to blacks is because they are black and in some cases they are actually given more slack.

I'm wondering why it took so long to process this obvious case on DUI. Do the pat down, collect her personal belongings for inventory, read her, her rights and then chauffeur her to jail for further processing by the intake officer and who ever administers DUI testing, whether it is blood, urine or a breathalyzer test.

hairyscotman absolutely disgusting behaviour. However, I honestly believe she would be the same way if she wasn’t “drunk”. There’s something off about her clearly but you can tell she’s intentionally trying to get a rise out of the officers and the camera guy by demeaning them. They did a good job staying completely calm.
God Bless the Chula Vista Police Department. The best in the country!! I was homeless with my kids and living in my car and they protected us the whole time. Not a normal thing to do, but they noticed we were in a temporarily bad situation and we only were in our car to sleep at night.
During the day I would clean the park, spend money on the main street business area, and shower at the health club. During the night patrol officers were given a description of my car and told to leave us alone while we slept.
While homeless, my son graduated from school and I worked until I could save money for a place. They offered to help us get out of the situation but, I wanted to do it myself (just the way I am, I guess), When it got chilly at night a sargent even came by to see if we needed blankets.
I love that police department and they didn't deserve this woman. BTW, it's been about 7 years now and we've been renting a house. Also, I just bought land to build a permanent house on. Notice how nice the policemen/woman and how diverse? They are like that all of the time. Thanks for your kindness CVPD!!

When I was working for KNSD, a chick drove her car off a cliff in La Jolla. They sent me to go get footage. I forget if it was a DUI or just an accident. The female driver attacked me, smacked me in the head and tried to break my camera. If you are in a public space - anyone can video you. Keep up the good work.
Yes, but it should be for Good reasons, because that can also come a little stalkish to women if a man is recording them, I have called the cops because one dude was right outside my gate everytime I went to work, recording me, asking me where's Petco, so I was creeped out, I told him to google Petco, so the fourth day I saw him again, I called cops, At least I haven't seen him since December, so maybe he finally got what he deserved or he did it to someone else, Only because my mom was with me and he got seen not just by me, it's why I also think he hasn't come back around, but I Love watching these videos because they Help Protect those few Good Police officers we do have!!! One that comes to mind is, I was out surfing and there was a guy at the beach videoing a group of 5 teenage girls that were running around in bikinis and just having a fun day at the beach. Eventually two dudes came up to him and said "Cut the shit or we're going to beat your ass." He left immediately. Agree, there is a difference between a news story and stalking but technically he couldn't be charged w doing anything wrong. Still doesn't mean you might not get your ass kicked though.

Yep, that is I--the one who spent 7 straight years in college to get my degrees: up at 5 am, do my homework, go open the bank and work until four, go to the college and take two classes, get home at near 10pm, go to bed and get up and do it all over again, day after day, week after week, year after year. My title is Associate Professor of English--you can buy those certificates in the cooler section of the 7-11s--right?. So, in the classroom, when a sassy student doesn't want to do a State Dept. of Education assignment, or if the student is two weeks late, then I am racist, hateful, and white supreme. I have learned to let their mouths flap until it continues to disturb the teaching, and then I pick up the phone and call security. They have yelled at me that I am throwing them out because I am racist, but I just point to the college code of conduct that states, instruction and teaching will not be interrupted--eventually they sneak back in and sit in the back row, quiet for the rest of the semester--It's a miracle!

Many immigrants from all over have been doing that for centuries when they got here. That white privilege excuse is just that an excuse. Its a lot easier to say its your skin color that holds you back than it is to say its your own choices. Here in the U.S. even in the ghetto you have running water, electricity, and a free education. Let them see a real 3rd world slum where kids wish they can go to school. Its good that you dont pander to their childish whims and accusations. Dont worry about being called a racist either. In 2020 that word has lost its true meaning. I treat everyone the same and hold them to the same standard therefore im also a "racist". Keep up the good work in your class its a good experience and lesson for them to have.
