Love them myself Pauric, the lakeboat doesn’t need Livescope to catch them 🤝😂🐟 but it’s great fun using the technology also, a bit of both is a nice balance!

Hi ronan, unfortunately we don’t get them here on the Lough Derg due to the dam at ardnacrusha ruining the salmon run, haven’t got much time to travel up to Corrib to do it, would be fun for sure!
Thanks Paul, I got a few out over 7 meters but mainly the trout were in around 3-5 meters, usually from no on this is the depth around the whole lake, also they can be out deeper, I never fish really shallow for them.
There’s always a chance, but I don’t fish the areas where the pike gather. I keep the lures high in the water and drive much faster. I can avoid pike doing this.
Lots of places to fish in Ireland rivers and coastline everywhere, I don’t like to name any exact locations myself personally, try fishing whatever is closest to you, whenever you get to Ireland. 😎
