Honestly Shining is due for soft reboot/rework. He has such classically good foundation to build a story off of. It would be nice to see him team up with some of the younger new heroes in a mentor like position.
Seven Soldiers of Victory was an all time favorite of mine as a kid. Probably read the stories in reprint in the 70s, but good solid, fun stories. All non powered and bad-assed. I recall star-spangled kid being the leader but I may be wrong. Doesn't matter, good stuff.
One of The Justice League’s unsung heroes. Please do more of what some would consider “lesser” Justice League members like The Vigilante, and that tall dude from The Flashpoint movie with the trench coat who was firing a gun during The Atlantean/Amazonian standoff in Europe. Thank you so much. Great video……we are watching.👍🏿
Frank Frazetta drew some of the Shining Knight stories in the 1940s, which DC Comics reprinted in a special edition called DC Masterworks in the 1980s.
Every since JLU (the greatest anime of all time!) I know more about vintage hero's so now you have to all of them especially the 7 soldiers of victory ✌ 😎 💪👍
The live action didn't do justice to Shining Knight 1:45 that explains why he was able to cut general's arm . 2:10 so this is why he appears in the future , in the justice league unlimited show.
No it's not. Black knight's first appearance was in 1967. While the shining knight debuted much earlier in 1941 . So the black knight is MARVEL'S VERSION OF THE SHINING KNIGHT.

I thought FireBrand was a Marvel thing. Then again Capcom has a version as well. Maybe it's like Sun Wukong, and everybody has ther own interpretation.
When they redid the characters' origins POst-COIE, Roy Thomas covered Sir Justin in a retelling in the 'Secret Origins' series - one wise guy even called Winged Victory 'Mobilgas' after the winged horse icon on Mobil signs of the era (and later). Also, he appeared in a Swamp Thing story wherein Swampy was falling backwards through time and ended up in Camelot, in this case right before it fell. Back in the present, he gave Abby hope that Alec/Swampy was still alive - and looked heartbroken to finally witness the end of his home kingdom.
Shining Knight is the living embodiment of all the virtues knights are supposed to possess.
Got to love & respect Shining Knight’s valor for standing up to Eiling
I remembered him during that JLU episode and always thought he was cool for the little time he had.
Same here. They need to bring the series back. Same anime style
The JLU episode brought back a new version of the Seven Soldiers of Victory.
Honestly Shining is due for soft reboot/rework.

or Teaming up with Jason Blood/Ethrigen to battle Morgana and Mordred again. :)
The horse was named Winged Victory for obvious reasons and as pointed out in a comic " And never was a horse better named ".
Bring me victory in this fight. I beseech thee, grace our humble game. But first I shall...call out thy name.. :)

I forget the name of that guy from flashpoint but I'm pretty sure he was just an alternate version of Red Hood.
@@breakfaith3031 you’re probably right 🙏🏿
Such an underrated and bad ass character
DAM RIGHT!
You can say that about 90% of Marvel and DC characters
Good to see that man from Dragon's Lair finally got the recognition it deserves.
Shining knight is the medieval version of captain America
Like Citzen Steel, Another Hero who Fought Nazi in WW2
dc comics verison of captain america
@@alfonsopina3976 citizen steel is Captain Steel's grandson and son of Commander Steel. It was the Captain who served with the All-Star Squadron.
@@Ozzy_2014 really??
I think if there was a word that best described what make’s Shining Knight special it would be his Purity. The purity of his character.
Personally, I just say that it’s because he’s so honorable. That is a quality which is not found often in modern times, and is quite admirable.
I loved the episode of JLU with Shining Knight! Great episode with a spotlight on some great heroes.
1 of the JLU many great eps . Be kool if they brang JLU back
SN taking on Eihling is one of my favorites!
Same
Just found this channel. Thank you for looking at the "D listers" they are some of my favorite
I can't stop thinking of Dragon's Lair every time I see this character ⚔️🛡️
You’ve dated yourself on this one
@@danielrowan4716 Nothing wrong with that. And those who don't know "Dirk the Daring" have dated themselves as well. I wonder if they're related. Ha.
So THAT’S his name. Never played the game but he does look like Shining Knight now that I think about it.
He wheels Excalibur
Im hooked
Wields not wheels.
@@Ozzy_2014 thank you
Ooh snap
Shining Knight vs Black Knight
Great video!!! Could you do one about the All Star Squadron? Infinity Inc.? Or any one of the so called "lesser known" teams??
"Dirk the Dearing" from Dragon's Lair , probably where they got the inspiration for his look .
So an actual mid evil knight that was preserved in ice up until the present day.

Justice league the animation was a good ass series
Every since JLU (the greatest anime of all time!) I know more about vintage hero's so now you have to all of them especially the 7 soldiers of victory ✌ 😎 💪👍
Cartoon, not anime. Justice League/Unlimited wasn’t made in japan.
Sir Justin rocks.
He needs he's own animated movie
Nice work Jemma! 👍🏾
I hope you feature more English characters with that cool accent of yours. 💖
Not every badass hero is a mega OP

& I only thought Dragons Lair just sold the rights!!
Please do an episode on Mr. Terrific...thanks.
"I'll die as befits a knight; defending the weak. "

Please do a video on Shiv/Cindy Burman!
Please do vigilante next
I mean, as far as recommendations for the Knights of the Round Table go, you can't get much better than having MERLIN THE MAGICIAN giving you the nod.
They should rep this guy not frikken Hawkman. Same basic concept done way cooler (it's the winged horse).
And the horse is named Winged Victory.
@@Ozzy_2014 😯
Shining knight isn't a justice League member in the comics. Although it would be quite funny.
James Gunn needs to be a director for shining knight solo film a perfect start to start a new dcu films series.
Shining knight is like a medieval steel or ironman

But isn't the Sir Justin Arthur's birthday December 27th?
@@andreamartino490 Yes, he was born on December 27, 484 AD.

The Shining Knight got all that merc but King Arthur only got Excalibur?
TSK get rare item from side quest.
He also got avalon... that scabbard that basically made him unable to age, and that could rapidly heal any wound... so it kinda evens out
Albania?
How was Shining Knight not part of Justice League Dark
about to write a fan fiction and lets just say Justin ride again:)
why they give him that shitty armor for the tv show....LMAOO
