    Hey guys welcome to today's video! Come clean with me while I share my cleaning before work routine and our lunch. The recipe is below. This is some of what I would do in between my deep cleanings.
    I've also surrendered to the laundry monster and decided to just have a "laundry day" where I mostly fold what I washed during the week because I do wash a load most mornings.

    Your kids have so much stuff. Back in the day when my mama had to clean, she would yell at us like "you kids have 10 minutes to pick up your junk, anything on the floor will end up in the bin." and we will all immediately pick up our stuff. She is the kind that would literally throw everything away if they are lying on the floor.

    Since watching your videos I clean before I go to work. And I work 5 to 6 days a week and oddly I find it relaxing. And now I clean when I get home too. Bc somehow my dog makes a mess when I get home.

    The fact that we have to work then go to work seems so wrong 😬 but it has to be done 😊
    I love seeing the little ones involved in cleaning 👌
    I like your shirt 💕 Is that your creation?
    Don't know much about removing stains 😞 Sorry. I use several different stain removers. They usually do a decent job.
    That chili looked delish 😋
    Another awesome video 🙌 Thanks so much. Take care 👍👍👍

    I bet you sleep so good because you’re such a busy lady!! I tend to do laundry at night because it’s less expensive on the electric bill. What I do for stains is as soon as possible just add some detergent to that spot and rub it in while it waits to be washed and that works. Thank you for sharing with us and may your channel continue to flourish 😊❤️

    Easiest way I have found to do laundry is designate a day for each family member. This is how it works at my house at least. My dad is Monday. My oldest helps me do his laundry on Tuesday. (He is 7) Then Wednesday is for my youngest sons clothes, and then Thursday is for towels and heavy blankets or bath mats etc. I typically don’t do any laundry on Friday or Saturday cuz we are usually out of the house. Then Sunday my husband is off work so I do his laundry then, since he’s off I get a chance to wash his work clothes. It works out really well for us. I know it’s annoying at first bc it’s a load a day but for me it’s been life changing!! Truly! Before I would try to cram all our laundry in on sat& sun and I felt like I was stuck in the laundry room all weekend and nobody has time for that lol!! Btw I love the flooring in ur kitchen and ur back splash tile is great too! 😊

    Three cheers for laundry day! My kids are grown now but we did laundry once a week when they were at home. I know a lot of people like the one load a day method but I loved feeling like I was done with job for another week rather than feeling like I was behind if I missed a day or two. On laundry day they helped me sort the loads and we kept the washer and dryer going all day, changing over the loads while still doing other things. I think you're doing great! Love your videos and your sweet and helpful family.

    I go item by item and use shout spray on all the spots if its a grease stain then i spot treat it with a litte dawn dish soap then i add a little baking soda in the wash and use color safe bleach like arm & hammer laundry detergent with color safe bleach or tide with bleach. always check the spots to make sure they came out before putting into the dryer because once its put into the dryer it will set the stain in. Have raised 3 kids and have a grandbaby and this method has always worked for me. Also go on UA-cam and type in laundry hacks, you will get some good tips there. BTW, that taco soup looks amazing!

    This was awesome. I love the extreme cleaning but I also enjoyed this kind of everyday pick up/clean video too. I’m the worst at laundry too. Lol My mom swears by Shout. It’s always work pretty good for us. If you notice that your girls stain a shirt , spray it with Shout & let it sit for a bit. Then throw it in the wash. Normally it’s good to go. Also check out Jordan Page I think her UA-cam is “Funcheaporfree” but I’m sure if you type in her name she’ll come right up. Anyways she has a great video on her laundry techniques. Thank you for still putting out great content while working outside the home! 👍🏻😍

    That's how my apartment gets if I just leave it alone when my son plays. But when he starts seeing me clean he grabs a cloths and randomly wipes things down. Always wants to help. I always think let's see how long that lasts. He isn't two years old yet. The thing I let pile up are dishes for a few days. I have days where I don't feel like doing anything but I always have to get myself out of that negative thinking. I have you and three other motivational clean video I enjoy watching and I start cleaning.

    I went back to work full time when my daughter was around 8 months old. I liked getting out of the house, but I was still doing all the housework and like 90% of the cooking. It's hard when you have to go to work, then come home and cook and clean for everyone all the time.

    • @MomLikely
      @MomLikely  5 років тому

      Yes it is. My husband helps more now on days I'm not home or we take turns with dishes. So that's helpful. I didn't clean as much when I was only at home because I just felt I could always don't whenever but now I'm short on time so I have been trying to get in a new groove.

    My #1 stain fighter for spots on clothes: fels naptha. It's a bar of soap in the laundry aisle. What I found best is to boil 1 to 2 cups of water, grate the entire bar and dissolve in the boiling water, stir until dissolved. Then pour hot soap mixture into a glass Mason jar. Let it cool. Apply soap mixture to clothes with an old toothbrush. When mixture is cooled it should be the consistency of toothpaste. Let it sit for a few hours for really tough stains then wash.
    That amount of spot remover will last me 6+ months and it doesnt go bad. Works great on all kinds of stains, food, grease, oils, grass, paint, marker, etc.
    The bar of soap is under $2 so its definitely budget friendly 😊

Hamburger meat, minestrone soup, corn, ranch style beans / jalapeno, ranch style beans w/sweet onion, Rotel. I usually make cornbread w it. It's kind of like Chile to me. Super tasty.

    With white clothes I use white revive and soak them for a few hours and for coloured clothes I use Oxi clean. You can always use Resolve spray and rub it into material but I prefer soaking the item in the cleaners with hot water. If you don’t treat a stain before it goes into the dryer you’ll set the stain.

    I use Tide Pure Clean or something with OxiClean in it. All my stuff is pretty much black that I wash altogether on cold on a heavy setting, then low dry everything that needs to be dried for an hour or so. I don't use fabric softener liquid. It stains, so I gave up completely. Just get nice smelling dryer sheets or use those laundry balls with some essential oil sprinkled on them. For random stuff and delicates, I'll put them in the same load in a mesh bag that actually stays zipped. I'm pretty sure I bought mine from Walmart. I love it. I'll let those items air dry on my desk chair in front of the fan so it'll get my room smelling nice!!!

    2. I'm new to your channel so I haven't actually watched an extreme clean yet but I think some of both would be great. Lots of people put out clean with me videos. The extreme cleans would set you apart a bit. So I'd say mix it up a little.

    I've had pretty good success with original scent Dawn dish soap for stains. Some I'll make a paste with the dish soap and baking soda. With light colored clothing I've even used toothpaste and worked it in with a toothbrush and rinse with COLD water and repeat if needed. Make sure it's regular white toothpaste and not gel. For tough stains let whichever stain fighting method you chose set for an hour. I had to get car oil or grease whatever it was out of my husband's jeans because he forgot to change into a old pair before he started working on the car, anyways I used Dawn dish soap and worked it in with a toothbrush and let it set for a hour then I rinsed with cold water and the stain lightened up considerably, so I worked more dish soap into the stain and let it sit over night and the jeans looked brand new again. In my experience you can get any stain out if you can find the time to work with it. I know you're a busy lady so I guess finding the time will depend on how important it is to remove the stain. Now that I've written a small book , I'll quit taking up your time. Great video. God bless you and your family 🙏

    Zote Soap ! I use the pink bar and just run the stain under some warm/hot water and rub it on the soap bar and rub the stain a bit and throw it in the washer. Its worked better for me than shout and its 97 cents i think for a huge bar

    I use a bar of felsnaptha. u can get it in the laundry isle at Walmart for about a dollar. I usually cut my bar of soap into small chunks and store the extra pieces in a ziplock bag, then I use one of the small pieces to pretreat any stains my kiddos have on their clothes. One small piece last forever. I bought a bar of soap over a year ago and I still have some left. If u cut it into smaller pieces u definitely get more bang for your buck.

    I definitely want to see vids like this i.e keep it tidy vids. They don't always have to be extreme cleaning.
    As for stains try Awesome. It's a yellow liquid stain remover that they sell at Walmart, dollar tree, 99 cents stores. Or Zote (Latino soap that you can cut up, make a paste out of and apply to stains). Its also at Walmart and 99 cents stores.

    • @MomLikely
      @MomLikely  5 років тому

      I have the yellow but maybe it doesn't sit long enough , So if I make a paste with zote can it keep in container for more than a day ?

    • @KellyJelly9976
      @KellyJelly9976 5 років тому

      @@MomLikely I've actually never use the zote a as a stain remover I just use it as an additive when I wash clothes. I just noticed and have been told by a Latina friend of mine that her grandmother uses it as a paste but I don't know its longevity as a paste. But it's cheap enough that you could cut up a bar and try

    Spray and wash on the soon as they get something on it and then wash it but don't try it then if you say that it didn't come off you spray and wash again with some borax and it'll come clean
