Welcome back to this weeks messy house cleaning motivation. I wanted to film cleaning the whole house because I went back to working part time this week and I wanted a good start to the week. I didn't do our room because that will be it's own declutter/ makeover project. Even though this was an all day cleaning, decluttering the kids rooms has made a huge impact on my amount of work per cleaning. So I will be adopting a new cleaning routine soon. There is still a lot to do. lol 🥵

I watched many of your videos idk how you get the ambition to take on that big of a task over and over and over and over lol I'll give it to you,I'm envious,I don't even mop my floor but once or twice a month and I have all hardwood lol I didn't have two little kids at once who had so many toys I was lucky I just have my one and she's 16 now so I did clean up after her but it was easy ya know? I did see the declutter video and you worked you mama butt off. It looked so nice as it always does when you're done. I just can't imagine living in a house like yours before you clean, it's chaos, I wouldn't be able to think or sleep or cook dinner in a messy kitchen but I will admit I do have mild OCD so maybe it bothers me more than you idk. I just wish I had a tiny bit of your energy. Really though you have to agree,having your girls clean up every night is good for them and I think they might think about how big of a mess they make if they know THEY have to pick it up. Maybe! Anyway I do love your videos and it's a relief to watch the tornado all cleaned up lol 😁🤗😲🙈🤦♀️👍🏼

I have OCD, I absolutely love your videos, I have watched for a long time.
However this is so much work on your mind and body 🥺 I personally would place signs over the trash can and the laundry shoot that says TRASH/ LAUNDRY. Your home is so beautiful, you should be house proud and be able to walk in from work or from the store and exhale. Be able to relax and be happy with what you see. I’ve been with my husband for 18 years, it took many years of training but it eventually worked. He still refuses to take his shoes off at the door but I can deal with that lol. You just seem so sweet, I hope you speak up once in awhile for your sanity 🤗 The mess will get bigger as the kids get older, believe it or not ha!

Since January we have been decluttering our home and it's gotten better for me mentally on a HUGE level. Since starting back to work in March my husband actually does pick up some of the work load around the house and we have started the kids on more chores since I have less time. my house looks like this at the end of every. single. day. as a mother of two young kids who would rather let their family live in their home than police clean up duty after every short lived ten minute activity, i appreciate you keeping it real. 10/10 i would rather be inspired by a real human being than someone cleaning a house they already cleaned before they started filming 🙄 i love your channel. its super inspiring!!

Yes! Same here! I work from home, I have two that have been virtual learning all yr with this pandemic. Both my children have some neurological issues, one is on the autism spectrum. I am constantly showing them by being example to how to keep tidy. But honestly, shit ain’t easy. At all! as they’re getting older they’re slowly getting better w/doing their bedroom and making the beds. Biggest thing I am working on is having them clean up after themselves. Work in progress. I came from a constantly neat and perfect home. but my mom was straight out OCD over everything and I get it! However it made me resent the woman more than ever and have such a hate and distain for cleaning and housework. I like things in their place too! N constantly clean and neat! But...I dunno! It’s kids! Family life! I don’t wanna be miserable chasing and constantly yelling and pulling my hair out. It’s so not worth it. They pick up a lot of the messes they make. N when I’m done with work, I’ll pick up the rest which isn’t a whole lot truthfully. Wish my husband would help around the house. But you pick your battles in life. The man works so many hours though so I leave it alone. messy and filthy are two different things. This house was messy not disgusting and filthy. That’s just a house being LIVED IN. when ppl can get to the mess they can get to it! At least, I have one room in the house where it is always perfect, our bedroom! 😌that...at least I have power over whether that stays clean or not 😂
I'd just like to point out that nowhere in her video or her description is she asking for y'alls input on her messy house or her parenting skills. Lay off. She cleans. And parents. And works. Be happy and proud for her instead of comparing yourself and spreading unnecessary negativity.

Ew all the negativity! Some people don’t want to clean every day- they’d rather enjoy the memories they create with their family and boom- have content for a house cleaning video aka extra income. I really wish the mom shaming would stop- NOBODY is perfect and if you were, I am sure you wouldn’t be watching cleaning videos on UA-cam. And kids that actually are kids and don’t sit with devices in their faces- play with *gasps* TOYS and make.. wait for it... a mess. And those saying “mAkE yOur KidS hElP yOu”.. uh.. pretty sure they did when it came to their rooms.

One product I would recommend for cleaning the tub and tiles in the shower, is the Clorox extended scrub and tile cleaner. I never have to blow out my back anymore cleaning my bathtub.

Wow this is by far one of the most real life cleaning videos I have ever seen. You are a rockstar! Talk about motivation, now I feel like getting up and cleaning everything even though I'm about ready for bed.
It's easier to keep the house clean when cleaning up as soon as a mess is made. That way you wont have to clean the whole house all at once. I also use paper plates and cups. As soon as im done cooking i make the plates and put left overs in Tupperware then i wash any pots and pans. My son has toys scattered some times but i put them right back in his box at the end of the day or while he naps. After showers and baths i clean the tub and take any clothes out the bathroom. Huuuuuunty you needs a break. Im telling you. You're putting too much on yourself at one time.

Man I love your videos. I got to experience being a mom of 6 for a week and these kids are destroying my house I was very sick for 3 days and when I came out of that daze i was like WTF happened. So good job. I have a big daily mess I end up with after the mornings with my toddlers. So when they go down for a nap I take that time to clean.

2 changes I made to control the dirt and crumbs. Shoes off at the door and eating only happens in the kitchen and table, not on the couch or bedrooms. It helped a little to control the crumbs in an open layout kitchen, dining and living room.
The dang rock salt is horrible to right now. 🤦🏽♀️ Ill tell you though I love it because before I hated knowing all this stuff was going in my carpet 😬

Hey Shawna, first I'd love to tell you how much of a superwoman you must be. Your always cleaning such a huge mess, working and being mom and wife. You rock these cleaning videos Everytime!!. I know how hard it is sometimes, I'm the mom of 6 kids. They are all grown now except for my 16 year old who is still at home, and I know it's gets overwhelming sometimes. Just a suggestion to ease your days alittle, and I mean this with the utmost respect for you, since the kiddos are old enough to help, try implementing a chore chart and get them involved. It will make things alittle easier for you sweetie. Love you guys to pieces.

I think once summer arrives we will work in it more since they will both be home equally making mess. My oldest doesn't find it fair to clean after her sister. Lol so I just have been doing the most.

I love the "take a trash bag to each room" method! i DO IT TOO! Just throw things in, and then carry out the whole bag when you are done. Efficient, and saves you a 1000 trips.

I love these videos; so freakin satisfying(!), but I don’t understand how your house gets that dirty for every video... and most of it’s trash. Or clothes. Similar. I have these videos because I do actually deep clean once a week. I don't clean everyday. I just do dishes throughout the week and lightly pick up the main living areas. Sometimes I clean the rooms every 2 weeks. This is like my normal clean I didn't move any furniture. Then I do my corner to corner where I move things. Since I'm working again now I will be adopting a new routine though for set days most likely.
Mom Likely! Soooo happy they cleaned their play room!! So proud of them :))). They are learning how to clean like their mommy! As a mother of four adult children, our gift to them is the gift of independence and also that builds their self esteem. I’m sure they were proud of their work too! Thank you for showing us them helping. (Maybe have them bring a basket in the living room to take their things in their room and put them away. YOUR A AWESOME MOM!!!

It's funny this is "bad" I'm so used to it, it is just normal the kids rooms are typically a disaster which doesn't bother me I don't go in there. The rest of the house the living room gets like that every day and gets picked up most days. The kitchen table and counters just kinda gets stuff piled on them eventually and the dishes are done about 3x a week. I think that explains it mostly. 🤔

OK so my house was looking messy like this (which is OK) but I was silently going crazy inside not knowing where to start soo.... I decided at 7 ish the WHOLE family spent just 5 minutes help picking up anything they could! It has helped so much, we are up to 10 minutes now! Now when the kids go to bed there's not that much to do and I feel so much better! But still a work in progress! Just wanted to share and I LOVE your videos!
That's awesome!! I pretty much have a routine so I don't get overwhelmed often but since we have Decluttered so much it had made a huge difference. I still choose to not clean everyday but my weekly clean is quicker. I pick up a bit each day also, it just never seems like it. 😂

Hi first time watching your videos! We clean the same way and use the same products!! Deep cleaning once a week just works for some of us! I did make a change last month and bought two of those sponges that hold soap. I put one in each bathroom and asked the family to wipe the tub/shower with it each day. It’s helped me not kill my back scrubbing the shower.

Hey there, love your videos, but have you tried the Shark steam mops. I like them better because I don't have to carry around a mop bucket, and it's a deep steam cleaner that doesn't need any cleaner except for water. I have been using the Shark steam mop for almost 10 years, and I'll never switch back.

Bissel crosswave will change your life! I hate having to drag out a bunch of different floor tools and this bad boy goes room to room. It basically sweeps, mops, vacuums and even shampoos all with a flip of a switch. Picks up little stuff like pieces of paper, cheerios, dog food etc. Its a real game changer. Sorry I was remembering how much I hated to drag out broom (then bend over to collect its pile) drag out the vac and then the mop. Lol and its saves so much time as I go room to room!

What’s the time frame from the video you did a week ago to this one? I know editing the videos takes time so it could’ve been more than a week apart. My house gets extremely messy but once cleaned nicely and we maintain for several weeks I don’t have to deep clean like I did the first time. I have special needs kids and lots of time out of the home at drs and therapy so it easily gets away from me so I understand. Also depression plays a huge role for me in how well I keep it maintained.
Give those babies some chores if my autistic son can unload a dishwasher (not perfectly he lays what he doesn’t know to put away on counter) than I think any child can learn. These babies operate iPads they can help empty a dryer, learn to use a broom, and put away toys! Not judging bc I don’t see what you have them do behind the scene.. just stating what works for us. My kids are 7, 6, 4, and 2. They all have a job they are good at and enjoy doing.
Now off to clean bc you can motivate a momma 😂
