Hey there friend. Great job as always. May I say people really need to take a step back and realize that she is only human. We don't all function like robots and wire our kids at the age of 2 to be neat freaks and whatever else. Instead of judging her and being so dam dude and hateful, how bout trying to uplift her and give ever some advice!! It takes less energy to just be nice and supportive of each other than being rude and judgemental. Everytime she post a video someone has something rude and negative to say. No one is perfect!! It takes alot of courage to get on UA-cam and show her house alittle messy because I'm sure she's well aware people are gonna come for her. Leave her alone and be nice. I do have a question though...is it possible to move the bunkbeds to the wall on the left the room? Can you break them down and put the beds on opposite side so they don't block the window? You want to have that egress in case of an emergency.

From which room? The ones I took out of the blue room went into the pink room. Currently I use those 2 stand up 5 drawer sterilte containers. I've decluttered so much over the last 4 months these are all the toys we have left 🙌🏽

Nope they always break them or fill with toys so I stopped putting one in. We have laundry shoot in the bathroom but they don't know where it is until I scream to put clothes in. Lol

I do a video every week. Sometimes when the kids clean their room a decently I'll skip their room for a week and don't the next. We have been decluttering the last few months and stuff so it's been a process and I don't clean everything everyday.

Yes it was baking soda. I didn't let them in there much believe it or not because we had to get the boxes and crap out the way. by the end of next month hey should be out and it's gonna be a small section they can chill in but the toys I decided to put in their room. They been playing computer games though now 🤦🏽♀️. And girl I have not made a single video on the computer yet or with my camera. 😫😂

Just an idea, but you could but shelving on the wall in the office to help reduce the amount of stuff on the desks and what not. Also, for the girls rooms, what about one of those stuffed animal hammocks? They can make it a game and toss them up there at the end of the day!

We are looking for new bed frames and I think I'm gonna put all the clothes in the closet. There is a small dresser in the closet. I found that rug at a family owned store.
Baby steps... can’t wait for everything to come together for you! Everyone has their own cleaning style and you have to do what is best for your family... I wanted to share my method and maybe it could work for you.. A couple years back I had decided enough was enough, my son’s room couldn’t stay clean, too much stuff, too much arguing. I wanted him to be a part of it and I didn’t want a fight. So this was my process: Dump every toy/item onto the floor. I had 3 boxes 1- Keep 2- Donate 3- Trash These were the rules which we discussed beforehand #1- Anything broken is trash no exceptions (he always had a reason why it could still work) #2- He could keep what he wanted as long as he had a good reason why “because I like it” doesn’t count.. #3- He had 5 seconds to give me a reason if he couldn’t then it went into donate, if he had a reason it went into keep ... trash obviously went to the dump, donate went to a children’s home, then I went through the keep and sorted categories into cube storage bins. It was a long process but he understood the process and we had minimal drama... Now he could dump everything out and he can get it put away in the correct bins in under 15 minutes.. he can actually play with everything he has and no more yelling from Mom.. hope this helps 😊
Yes since decluttering they do pickup through the week, they have to tidy up. They just don't clean up every single last thing like I do. They play with so much and are in and out of the toy area especially because it's not all the way summer yet so That's why you see a weekly video, because thats when I do my cleaning. We are in the works of a new family routine though.
Thanks. I'm hoping over summer we can get it together. We used to just have so much I would never put that on them so I handled it myself but now it's more manageable even though it still appears alot here. I can do in 30 minutes -1hour what used to take me 2-3 hours.
I just washed them regularly with laundry soap and I sprinkled in some purple downy scent beads. I only dried them on low for about 25 minutes and then air dry them out the rest.
Good to know! 🤗 I've always only handwashed to spotclean. And when the toys are large, they won't fit in the washing machine. So I have to unstich the outer cover, store the stiffing in a trash bag, wash the outer cover, dry and then restuff and resew. We have those giant bears. 🤔
I’m never watching these cleaning videos to ever come for anyone or to judge. As a mom of 4 I would like to suggest that you have your children assist you in cleaning. They are making this mess and while I know you clean yourself because it’s definitely quicker and you may want their room to look the way you want it to look they made this mess so perhaps they should assist you with cleaning. I would also incorporate rules about the toys and let them know that you’ll start throwing them out or that they will have to donate them if they can’t keep their rooms a little neater. It’ll teach them consequences and appreciation for the things they have. It’ll teach them that as a family unit we work together to keep our home clean. Again just a thought. I never want to be rude. I watch your videos and it seems they really destroy their bedroom/play room and although you make these videos for cleaning motivation they should perhaps help out a little. Just a suggestion. From one mom to another.
They do though just like 75 percent and I let them do that for a few days until I say ok you have left to much behind and I go in and clean it up all the way .

Girlfriend.... it kills me that you have to do this every week... yes it’s content I get that but why don’t ya have the girls make their own cleaning video one day! Speaking from experience.. not hating on ya. I’m struggling with my son at 14 because I never really made him do house chores (he always had to keep his room clean) but if he uses dishes he just puts them in the sink instead of rinsing and putting in dishwasher, etc. his backpack is usually left on the floor by the front door.. towels left on the floor, toothpaste on the counter.. I could go on and on.. his work ethic stinks... I tell him to put the garbage out and he’s like what garbage? 🤦♀️ On the other side my daughter is 10 years older and she always had chores growing up. She has excellent time management skills, her work ethic is on point and has been since she was able to have a job. It always amazes me how much she gets done in a day. (I did work 2 jobs when my daughter was younger which is why she had to help out more) anyhoo that’s just my 2 cents.. 😘.
I don't feel comfortable with then cleaning alone in a video. Lol since going back to work in March we have all been chipping in as you see my husband and daughter helping in this video. And in recent videos I have been trying to share the jobs they help with around here. I don't clean everything by myself. I try to clean it by myself when I film or I would film for 24 hours waiting on them.. I Know alot of people think I'm crazy for this but I just can't live with myself cleaning everyday. I get so depressed. Some days it's clean for a couple days others it's a mess for a couple days. It's not always the same. But with summer approaching and both girls hopefully attending school this fall we won't be here as much so that will help tremendously, so we have started adopting a new routine. I just haven't shared it. Prior to March we were here 24/7 and never really went on outings until this year or until it's warm. My oldest fusses alot about doing stuff so if she just puts in effort I don't bicker so she can build up confidence and practice in what she does vs saying that sucks , you didn't do enough, ect. but eventually Ii will expect my standards if they want privileges.

You do an AMAZING job at cleaning your home but have you considered letting daughters take an active role in keeping bedrooms/playroom tidy?
Angela Dorsey I was wondering the same thing. It seems like they never clean up after themselves and she just does it.
Yes since decluttering they do pickup through the week, they have to tidy up. They just don't clean up every single last thing like I do. They play with so much and are in and out of the toy area especially because it's not all the way summer yet so That's why you see a weekly video, because thats when I do my cleaning. We are in the works of a new family routine though.

Thanks. I'm hoping over summer we can get it together. We used to just have so much I would never put that on them so I handled it myself but now it's more manageable even though it still appears alot here. I can do in 30 minutes -1hour what used to take me 2-3 hours.
Yay anouther cleaning video. Removing the dresser sure opened the space.. but I liked that dresser. Just a shame it didn't hold up well to abuse.
Yeah it was already being trashed and we took it from someone so we didn't really destroy it.

I need to wash my kids stuffed animals so bad! What all do you use to wash your kids?
I just washed them regularly with laundry soap and I sprinkled in some purple downy scent beads. I only dried them on low for about 25 minutes and then air dry them out the rest.

And when the toys are large, they won't fit in the washing machine. So I have to unstich the outer cover, store the stiffing in a trash bag, wash the outer cover, dry and then restuff and resew. We have those giant bears. 🤔

I’m never watching these cleaning videos to ever come for anyone or to judge. As a mom of 4 I would like to suggest that you have your children assist you in cleaning. They are making this mess and while I know you clean yourself because it’s definitely quicker and you may want their room to look the way you want it to look they made this mess so perhaps they should assist you with cleaning. I would also incorporate rules about the toys and let them know that you’ll start throwing them out or that they will have to donate them if they can’t keep their rooms a little neater. It’ll teach them consequences and appreciation for the things they have. It’ll teach them that as a family unit we work together to keep our home clean. Again just a thought. I never want to be rude. I watch your videos and it seems they really destroy their bedroom/play room and although you make these videos for cleaning motivation they should perhaps help out a little. Just a suggestion. From one mom to another.
Why do your kids not clean up their own rooms?
They do though just like 75 percent and I let them do that for a few days until I say ok you have left to much behind and I go in and clean it up all the way .

Girlfriend.... it kills me that you have to do this every week... yes it’s content I get that but why don’t ya have the girls make their own cleaning video one day! Speaking from experience.. not hating on ya. I’m struggling with my son at 14 because I never really made him do house chores (he always had to keep his room clean) but if he uses dishes he just puts them in the sink instead of rinsing and putting in dishwasher, etc. his backpack is usually left on the floor by the front door.. towels left on the floor, toothpaste on the counter.. I could go on and on.. his work ethic stinks... I tell him to put the garbage out and he’s like what garbage? 🤦♀️ On the other side my daughter is 10 years older and she always had chores growing up. She has excellent time management skills, her work ethic is on point and has been since she was able to have a job. It always amazes me how much she gets done in a day. (I did work 2 jobs when my daughter was younger which is why she had to help out more) anyhoo that’s just my 2 cents.. 😘.
I don't feel comfortable with then cleaning alone in a video. Lol since going back to work in March we have all been chipping in as you see my husband and daughter helping in this video. And in recent videos I have been trying to share the jobs they help with around here. I don't clean everything by myself. I try to clean it by myself when I film or I would film for 24 hours waiting on them.. I Know alot of people think I'm crazy for this but I just can't live with myself cleaning everyday. I get so depressed. Some days it's clean for a couple days others it's a mess for a couple days. It's not always the same. But with summer approaching and both girls hopefully attending school this fall we won't be here as much so that will help tremendously, so we have started adopting a new routine. I just haven't shared it. Prior to March we were here 24/7 and never really went on outings until this year or until it's warm. My oldest fusses alot about doing stuff so if she just puts in effort I don't bicker so she can build up confidence and practice in what she does vs saying that sucks , you didn't do enough, ect. but eventually Ii will expect my standards if they want privileges.
