This Guy is the Best Inkscape Teacher..... He's the Master of the Craft. The CON is that, He goes too fast, which makes it harder for someone to follow along easily.
when I do the gradient I don't get the light on the right hand corner, I'm trying to follow this and another video of yours with this logo and they both fail at a certain point :(

Great tutorial! Thank you! But question @2:50 .. Why is it necessary to "Object to Path" then "Ungroup" then "Union"? When you "Object to Path" the text, isn't that already a union? Still learning. Thank you!
Good question! Before Inkscape 1.3, when this video came out, Object to Path would turn all of the letters of a text object into separate paths, then group them together. But now it just combines all of the letters into a single path.
