back pressure. the way you explained the pipe example, even my college was struggling to teach that!

I’d like to thank you for a straight to the point answer, instead of something hidden in the middle of some 20 minute video. I learned a lot from your video and will be able to decide on my exhaust mods accordingly. Thank you again!
Thanks for watching mate. Hope you enjoy my other videos too and hope you subscribe.
Still to this day , you are the most informative moto vlogger in India. Thankyou sir for your work
Thank you for the support brother 😊
Brilliantly explained Vikas, will be sharing this video to everyone who thinks about going free flow with only exhaust sound in mind.
I recently bought an Apache RR 310 and that's when I started to learn about exhausts after about 15 years of riding motorcycle (a Pulsar 180 DTSi UG-1 and a Hero Honda Karizma R, to be exact), because, you know, I'd love to have a better, lower-tone growling sound coming out from a bike like this model of Apache. Searched and viewed many explanations and videos and quite frankly, this particular video of yours is the best for me to understand why or how or which part i'd consider changing in the exhaust system of a motorcycle.
Good job, man. You've got a new subscriber.
Older bikes that do not have the ECU you have to re-jet and adjust the air. Nice job explaining what happens.
something easy to set, yes :) tune the carburetor. +1 for older motorcycles for this example.
Your all videos are really helpful. Best motovlogger of India for sure :)
Damn bro. I'm in my tenth grade and I actually understood each word. ❣️ You're a genius
Very helpful . I have been seeing many videos about this matter but so far no one has given right information . Thank you so much
This is one thing I really like about your videos... The technical aspect which is not covered by majority of moto vloggers in India..!
Well explained principles... Keep up the good work..! 👌
I'm from tamilnadu...Explaining in english is easier to gain knowledge for biker 's.....Thank you Uncle.
Thanks for watching. Hope you enjoy my other videos too and hope you subscribe

no one could have put it in better words. simplest explanation about the exhaust function and its various parts that i have ever heard. great going. all the best!
Are first copy exhaust recommended ?
If not, then why ?
I have a ninja 1000.
Yes but you will need very good quality
you already have an expensive bike why settle for a cheap imitation after market
Due to this SLOW, CLEAR, and WELL explanation... 👍👍👍👍
I become a new subscriber of your channel bro.
Keep it up. 🙏🙏🙏
None had explained it so easily Tqsm Bro
The best thing about your video is the way you explain 😃😃😃
Seeing R1 after a long time. #AGELESSBEAUTY
Thank you, your explanation is the most comprehensive and detailed I have ever heard, you explained everything perfectly. Take care. Mike.
Thanks very much!
But my bike has a underbelly exhaust what to do?(Pulsar n160)😢😢
I never understand about the back presure work on exhaust until you explaned with the example of the water hose..thanks!!!
Thanks for watching mate. Hope you enjoy my other videos too and hope you subscribe.
nice topic to share...only one tip to u bro...if u have full system exhaust then u need a powercomander which is quite expensive to buy !!slip on are better but slip on a z900 is useless to spend 55 k which sounds like exact same as stock due to the presence of cat box in collector
What if I just use a slip on?
Very well explained. This is what I expect from a technical moto vlogger. To explain each and every part like a professor.
Vikas sir...your videos are always informative but back pressure is the most misunderstood term in exhaust system. However back pressure is the negative pressure wave created inside the exhaust pipe ..this wave is just behind the positive pressure wave generated after each exhaust stroke...and yes restrictions in exhaust causes obstruction in the flow but back pressure is not the right term for it. Back pressure helps scavenge out the gases by creating a negative pressure zone inside the exhaust....and when it comes to straight pipe free flow exhaust...they are good but if engine is not tuned accordingly then it reduces fuel efficiency..causes lots of unburnt hydrocarbons and afterburing of fuel in exhaust.
Lol u didnt got a like from him
Fayaz u r right. Free flow exhaust let's mileage down because the charge is not fully combusted and escapes the cylinder as there are no restrictions in free flow exhaust.
Bro u should have been my teacher.tht example of back pressure is just amazing.
Great informative video
Thank bro
Helpful boss
So much more than one year I have an dobut about changing after market in bike in 7.00 mins dobut has been cleaned thank u vikas bhai

What if Underbelly exhuast like in case of my 200ns, the exahust pipe is small and projects out of the collector , what can we do in that case?

Wat abt a carburetted engine? Wat shall be done in a carburettor in case of a full exhaust system installation?
Rejet the carburetor
I own single cylinder motorcycle , so I've changed only the muffler , The pipe from the header to the muffler is the stock one , I dono whether it has got connected an all !. So will my engine get damaged ?
Akib Basheer nope your engine will not get damaged don't worry✌️
Jets must be altered
I hope n wish that Vikas would n should make a video on the changes or upgrades to be done on a carburettor for its compatibility with the after market exhaust system, if one installed. For the best performance...
this applies also to all types of motorcycles whether its a scooter or any other small cc's but most of the time low cc motorcylces have fixed exhaust system, meaning you cant simply change the cannister or muffler.mostly available in the market are full exhaust systems
Thanks for watching
Useful stuff brother 👌 and can you explain about a normal spark plug and iridium spark plug.. thank you
Thanks sir .. Now I can buy muffler without any doubt ... 🙂🙂.. love and respect from West Bengal 🙏

The question of horsepower gain, and keeping performance (increase in speed without affecting much of fuel economy) was confusing me.
I’m happy I found your video which was very insightful for me to make the desired result and decision.
Well explained✌️✌️, Better than my physics teacher .
Very neat and cleanly explained everything 👍👍👍👍👍

Sir I have honda civic ek 2000 and I did down piping and installed after market muffler sound was awsome but Engine was seems to be hot and bad fuel economy black carbon on tail pipe so now I come to know about back pressure and air fuel mixture and i re-set my system now fuel economy is good tail pipe is brown. I won't remove anything in middle....just will install sports muffler. ..thanks a lot again 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Vikas super biking 🔥teacher👏🏻 yur are really 🔥🔥❤️❤️
New subscriber from the Philippines. Thank you for this. I am not into driving fast so I guess I will just change my muffler. Maybe it will not be that loud but it's enough.
it depends , if you have from the factory an wide band o2 sensor and the computer has autotuning function , then it will correct for the new exhaust , even some engines with no wide band o2 sensor computer does some corrections because it is designed to run at sea level and also at 3000 km altitude sow it needs to have some correction capabilities , but I repeat not all computers do this you have to check this for your own , and an important thing is to maintain the approx. original temp at witch the o2 sensor was designed to run that is important for all engines !
Vikas anna good evening, chala baga explain chesaru video.
Today I learnt something new from you bro. Thanks a lot for the explanation mate.
Exactly what im looking for 👍👍👍... Exhaust explanation in a very details way 😁.. ive got an experinece burning the exhaust valve resulting less power n less torque.. Using open exhaust at first the sound is very loud n a lot of bass.. as time passes it become less loud n the bass sound become normal, n most noticeable changes is it power become way more weaker than it was b4.. that is the reason why im searching for a vid like yours my friend😊, TQ so much👍👍👍
What bike was yours.
I'm thinking of removing Muffler from my new KTM 390 Duke 2023.
correct explanation coz i have already experience a free air flow of modified motor 200 2 stroke exhaust engine, it gives me much power in the 200 meters straight race but damage in a long normal run of 40 kls it really create too much heat and burn the valve system it only good for short range distance race with time duration in order to avoid overheat but it really run so fast with the same engine specification.
Excellent video. All relevant points explained without using any hard to understand jargons. Keep up the good work
Thanks very much my friend. Hope you enjoy my other videos too and hope you subscribe.
