@@LJ-ie8wj No difference between a properly made interface and a cheap interface. Scarlett solo's are also worse than Behringer interfaces so why that one specifically?
It's a good starter mic. I know this is an ad, but it would be interesting to hear it going through a budget interface, with no plugins or outboard gear. Feel it would give a more honest representation of what to expect for beginners who are the primary market for this mic as they won't be pluging it into thousands of dollars worth of gear.
Check out @bolodaproducer he done a video with this mic and a focusrite scarlett, no outboard gear, no processing. It’s a good mic, they’ve been held in high regard since they dropped over 29 years ago. I’ve used them right along side of high end condensers, and it holds its own. 🤷🏾♂️
Hmm, ..do not mistake the NT1 A or NT1 Signature for the NT1 (xlr) which has a less bright, more rounded sound... For the last one you should check the Podcastage channel review 😉👍.
Imma be honest guys almost every budget mic priced £120-£400 sound amazing if you have 3k-7k analogue interfaces , and it’s all about the interface so it doesn’t pick up a lot of noise floor, but ground loops are key too, and your laptop CPU and the motherboard and make sure your USB connections have no grounding issues Yep by this you should realise that this music thing isn’t budget thing to do LOL , Unless you a great engineer , you can use a focusrite interface with amazing plug-ins but nothing will work if your ground loop is messed up
I have the Rode NT1 plugged into my Scarlett Solo and I always get this low feedback noise and I have to shake the mic to get it to stop. But then it just comes back after a few minutes and sometimes I forget to shake the mic and the feedback noise ends up in my recordings. Any way to fix this issue?
Something’s loose, either the capsule or the screws on the bottom, take the mic apart with the correct screwdriver and put it back together and make sure everything is tight, that will fix the issue. It’s very common with condenser mics.
Does it create top end harshness?? I have that problem with some vocalist on the AT2020 and I’m wondering is this a notch above that one or should I spend more and get something better??
If you can, afford for a good mic.... good preamp and good analog gear. You cant make professionnal vocals with 200 bucks (but you can make good music)... remember she has a 1073 preamp (1800) and a cl1b (4000) 😂

I love the Rode NT1. Just remember she’s running it through top of the line equipment and software, so that’s why it sounds so good.

Doesn't make a difference. "Budget" preamps that are more than a decade old now were designed with transparency and balance in mind.

The same applies to any mic going through a low cost interface.

I was not expecting those vocals. Sounded amazing.
Its perfect for ambient recording. The platypus sounds perfect
Sounding GREAT!
This sounds 🔥🔥🔥
Im excited to get mine in a few days it's the 5th gen one though so it's about $249
Yes 👌👌👌
Thats was the 4th gen that garnered most of that reputation.

Expensive interfaces don't change the quality of the mic. Just try plugging an NW700 into a neve 1073 and see if it changes anything lol.

Only use it if you have a treated space or your frequencies will bounce all over the place.
Stunning vocals! Stop raising the bar... some of us are trying to make a living out here... :)

I mite finally have to get it! Ive been thinking about it for a minute. Been rocking my 70 dollar Sterling Gutiar Center condeser mic for way to long
What plugin did you use for the melody. I would love those sounds
Your music isnt available on amazon music?

Where do you get the rode for only $150?
From their official site. Search Rode Nt1 signature series.

Ahah how I feel
The 😢 made me emotionally attached to the mic, but unfortunately, I can't afford it.
Nice commercial. How much did they pay you?
I very good mic for the budget
It’s important to remember this is what the vocals sound like accompanied by real 10k -30k hardware. Won’t get this same sound otherwise.
That's completely bullshit. UMC202 will be identical to this.
