This man receives maximum support from society....free housing, free food, service dog, SSI. Yet what he needs is extensive mental health and social services to help him develop the life skills and habits to take charge of his life! He is only 30! There is hope he can turn things around. But he seems very immature and undisciplined. Romain you are a good person.

Romain, this video was a genuine public service. You responded to a severe call for help that most people would likely ignore. You offered real hope and encouragement. As I listened to this episode, I felt sad, humbled and deeply inspired. Issues as a result of mental illness have been in society's shadows for so long. Despite the support given, some souls are just unable to come out from under a trauma experienced. Some of us have witnessed this up close. You kept your word by checking in every two weeks. You cared more about Prometheus than he cared about himself. Your kindness and humility were not wasted efforts. Along with practical advice (for any viewer), you demonstrated what living/working with true compassion looks like. And I am sincerely grateful for the person who is YOU.

He needs intensive mental health counseling on a consistent basis. He is unmotivated and seems to have a hard time organizing his life. I don't think him getting a job will be successful if the mental health aspect is not addressed. It may not be a good idea for him to live alone either if he cannot be consistent with meds. Lots of people with Bipolar disorder and PTSD are productive but it is a challenge and needs a village to help the person stay accountable and in therapy/on meds.

You did everything you could, and I have been bingeing your channel since finding it yesterday. I’m in awe of your style and what you do.
