My dad died and went to be with the Lord some years ago, but he used to watch the planes with his binoculars while listening to air traffic control at PHL from our old house in Norwood, PA which overlooked the Heinz Wildlife Refuge. He used to take me to the upper level of the parking garages at Philadelphia International. I can remember when he first saw his first 747 back in the early 70’s, and was so excited about it. I often think about how in this day of smartphones how he’d be in his element. The tools we have today Vs. the 1970’s to 2010’s is far above what there was in those days. He’d be very happy 😃
They’re like the rocket ship of modern day commercial aircraft built with engines that were way more powerful than they needed to be even with a full load of passengers or freight.
the only time i experienced a turn and burn was on a Virgin America a320. the engines started spooling up before we had even made the turn. it was great
Happened to me on a Jetstar A320, it was wild. Was going on a trip with my sister and she hadn't flown since she was a kid so she was totally stunned lol
Delta used to have a daily 757 service from Philadelphia to London Heathrow and I loved that journey. Nothing quite like taking a single-aisle over the Atlantic. They may be getting older now, but they’re still lovely aircraft.
On Whidbey Island, Washington the Navy would use a outside airfield to practice take offs. They had a sign that said “Pardon our noise, It’s the sound of freedom.” Loved watching them. They used to have a great air show every summer on the Navy base and Blue Angels were there. It was open to the public. Don’t have them anymore.

Damn, sounds like the controller just told a heavy jet to take off without delay. That used to be illegal. Guess when you lower the standards for controllers you should expect these things.

Nothing better than being a passenger in a quick takeoff instead of sitting on the tarmac for an hour waiting for clearance
Kinda wanted to see it take off.
And less chatter
Would have been great to have heard the engines instead of them chatting.
@LegitTutorials700 I will give them a try. Thank you for the recommendation.
Its a live show, theyre chatting with viewers too @jvazquez407

My wife flys the 757/767ER for Delta. Beautiful plane.
@LegitTutorials700💀
757 the hotrod of airliners.
This plane was Boeing's " Golden child " too bad that all they build now, are pieces of junk. 😱
I flew on a 757-200 with British Airways as a kid, it pinned me to my seat on takeoff… a wonderful machine.
They’re like the rocket ship of modern day commercial aircraft built with engines that were way more powerful than they needed to be even with a full load of passengers or freight.
love taking off in a 757. they get up in the air so quickly!
My favorite Boeing. Keep climbing Delta!
I flew 757's for 8 years, both the 200 and 300. My airline only had RR rb211's. I enjoyed the airplane, nice cockpit to spend a work day in.
Quite the office view 🙂 👌
Sounds like AA planes. Former AA mech here.

Wouldn't it be cool to get some of those tiny vid cams and have the jet suck them in?
I was thinking the plane was literally burning this is why I clicked on this video
