@@gomediapostcom Can't tell, did you strip the plane of paint first? As I recall, when our airline bought used DC-10's they were stripped of old paint first to keep the weight down.
The reason why AF1 is painted blue is because it was John F Kennedy’s favorite color. There is no legislation that prevents Air Force One being painted a different color and so maybe we will see a red/white/blue in AF1 the future.
@@TheresaPowers What a ridiculous lie. It may have been Kennedy’s initial choice, but Air Force One was never changed because it conforms to the non provocative image the US is trying to portray. Ronald Reagan had an opportunity to change the colors when he reordered and didn’t see a need to. Besides, certain colors (like Trump’s idea) were dismissed because darker colors overheats the plane. It has nothing to do with political party garbage.
It's an old plane and should be scrapped but Trump can't afford a new one, plus he's so old it's not worth buying a new one when he's at deaths door so a quick paint job is enough to last until he dies then it can be scraped.
Unfortunately for Trump this is probably going to be repossessed to pay his court debts. This plane was built in 1991 and it's surprising how little 757s from that era go for. It's tough to get parts for and MX costs are very high. Comparables on the market are listed for like $6million. It would probably we worth more in a cargo configuration.
Back in the 80s, I got involved in painting an airplane of this size, and it's an amazing job, especially when the paper and plastic come off and it's time to buff. Great job!

Most people think, investing in crypto is all about buying coins and leaving it to rise, come on, it takes much analysis to be a successful crypto trader.
You're right! I have lost a lot trading all by myself without a guide. It's been an uneasy ride for me. Who is your mentor please, how can I reach her/him, I really need help in this bull market now?
Trading without professional's guide...Huh I laugh you😅, because you will remain where you are or may even make huge losses that could stop you from trading. This has been one of the biggest problems of new traders.

I love the switch from the stylised "T" on the tailfin to the American Flag. That's beautiful.

What a beautiful site to see, love 💕 it, thanks for an outstanding job!!
It’s amazing feeling to see this beauty being restored for the best President ever! MAGA!
I served 20 years in the Air Force on KC-10 and KC-135 and the amount of prep time to get one of these jets painted is no joke, especially when it also has to be polished at the end.
Stripping and painting an aircraft in an unairconditioned hangar is a job that members of the laptop class will never understand.
😆🎯
Have a look above the aircraft for ventilation
I was looking at the process, but I was actually wondering about this as I could not see the paint being stripped. I understand paint is heavy, so I would expect it having to be stripped first. Did I miss something? And I am not asking to be a troll, I am asking to understand; are there instances where the paint isn't stripped?
@@mrtopcat2 Only the tail was stripped as it had a flag painted on to it. The rest of the 757 got the old fashioned scuffing/wet sanding. It was more of a paint restoration to keep the livery the same. I don't think Donald cares about extra paint weight.
@@pcorf I think so too, probably they don't ever take enough cargo or anything to be near limits, so say an extra 1000 #s of weight is worth it versus another $200k in sanding fees etc etc

This is such a work of art, simply amazing to have talented American diverse people working together as a team to create something meaningful. It's inhumane as to how Donald Trump gets criticized, arrested, charged with multiple felonies, etc and all because he LOVES AMERICA??? SMH, America has turned into a 3rd world country.

He won’t be using TF1 as president. He will use AF1.
Wow! What a production! From start to finish, an amazing job. Pride shows through in every step of the way. Setting a great example for us all.
Thank you!
@@gomediapostcom Can't tell, did you strip the plane of paint first? As I recall, when our airline bought used DC-10's they were stripped of old paint first to keep the weight down.
That plane is beautiful! We wonder why Air Force I isn’t red white and blue?
Because it wasn't the really real af1! This is! Whatever President Trump is on at the moment!
The reason why AF1 is painted blue is because it was John F Kennedy’s favorite color. There is no legislation that prevents Air Force One being painted a different color and so maybe we will see a red/white/blue in AF1 the future.
Trump had a design for a red white and blue scheme. FJB cancelled it, of course…
because jackie kennedy chose the democrat colors. AFOne should be in the colors of the flag
Saw it up close at New York LaGuardia! Looked great 👍🏼 😊

That's some crazy amount of work.
Beautiful job! The news media acted like this plane was headed for the scrap yard... just comical! Can't wait to see her flying again.
It's an old plane and should be scrapped but Trump can't afford a new one, plus he's so old it's not worth buying a new one when he's at deaths door so a quick paint job is enough to last until he dies then it can be scraped.
she will be flying again very soon TRUMP 2024
🤑
Trump will lose out.
This plane will become legal issues.

Imagine the amount of planning it took just to do this. It’s not just come up with the design sign off on it and paint it. They had to isolate this plane. Have Secret service and other agencies have to watch over this plane. The background checks on everyone involved. Probably daily screenings from the workers.
