Shout out to students in dorms or single living occupancy - most sheet pan recipes can be done in a toaster oven - yup it works! Love ❤me some sheet pan meals - I'll be watching this vid as I prep some veggie and fruit and a lentil Bolognese for supper.
Okay - I have to tell you that you have changed my cooking life. I came home from rehearsal and then shopping- cranky, I was. When I realized I could throw a sheet pan meal together and have a glass of wine while it baked, I also realized that I needed to thank you. Thank you, Christine. My family also thanks you, although they don’t know it. Hah!
I've been binge watching everything lately. these sheet pans meals are like, yes, I've heard of them, but why have I not tried this? cooking for 4 young kids is HARD every single day... why am I over complicating things? Thank You for these new ideas! [*Update*] I made the sausage and potatoes dinner, but I used kielbasa, small yellow potatoes and fresh broccoli. coated in Olive oil and doused with seasoning salt... Guess what!?! They ALL loved it! adding that to my go to list. making Hawaiian chicken later this week.
Tip: Cover your sheet pan with foil (shiny side down) for 3/4 of the cooking time and you will not only notice that your chicken thighs cook better, but they put off this wonderful juice to cover your vegetables which is amazing. **The reason you want the shiny side of the foil facing down towards your food is because if you had it facing out (dull side towards food) then most of the heat in the oven would be reflected away from your pan and you would have to have a much longer cooking time. Having the dull side facing out allows the heat to penetrate the foil and cook your food making it juicy and lovely. Thank you so much for the lovely recipes... My favorite is chicken or pork in the center with asparagus on one side and roasted fingerlings or red & gold baby potatoes on the other. If I choose pork, it is usually the really thick ones from Sam's or Costco and I will brown them before placing them on the pan to complete the dish. I am writing down some of the meals you are demonstrating to make them for my family of three (used to be 5 while the boys were growing up). May God always Bless you and protect you. ~SuzyJC-in- Central-Eastern-Ohio_07.24.2023~
For garlic - buy peeled garlic at the store, put it in your food processer, put on your sheet pan (with parchment paper) in 1 T clumps (use a small cookie scoop), freeze for 24-48 hours then put in a double Ziplock bag (to contain the odor) and toss in your freezer. You can roast the garlic first if you'd like. One puck is about 1-2 cloves of garlic.
I don’t know how I’ve missed seeing you all the years I’ve been watching food videos but I just found you last week and I’ve been binge watching you!!!! Fantastic!!!!!
Vegan for me too!! I am going to try a few of her ideas, but making it my vegan way. Also, I don’t use oil, so I use chickpea (Aquafaba) liquid instead. I did make the cauliflower nachos last night and it turned out good, I was intrigued. (Just make your favorite nacho cheese sauce instead of grated cheese!). If you try anything, let me know.
That's why i love her channel! Im vegan too, but her recipes arent too meat centric, so i get so many cooking ideas and so much inspiration from her videos 🫡
This video made me subscribe to your channel. I'm so tired of standing at a stove and cooking large, time consuming meals that are consumed in just a few minutes. I'm already thinking about what I'm going to do with all the time I will be saving. I can literally prep these meals in the morning and not think about dinner all day. You are very entertaining and energetic and I enjoyed every minute of the video. Thank you.
This video is everything I needed right now!! New baby plus and active 5 year old with a hungry hubby....dinner has been a hot mess lately. Thank You! Thank You!
Christine, each of your sheetpan dinners made salivate and even drool. Thank you for your easy dinners. You just got my creative kitchen skills juices going.
My mom's stuffing was the best. No chunky stuffing. So delicious and moist. We use milk to make the bread mushy and moist yet baked . It's so good she stuffs the turkey with it.
Christine, I love the Pillsbury pizza crust. My mother used to make her own dough and this is the closest I've found to hers, it's amazing. What I do is hold up the raw dough and let gravity help it stretch, then flip to hold the other side, and keep rotating until it is stretched, then lay it down and use my fingertips to stretch it a bit more on the pan and pat it out. Works great.
Just a little tip. When your bottle of olive oil is empty, SAVE THE CAP. Drill several small holes in it, and when you get your new bottle, screw on the drilled cap to pour, and replace it with the solid cap to store. I usually hot glue a small magnet to the side of the drilled cap and pop it on the side of the stove after cleaning.
i usually microwave potatoes, carrots ...any hard veggie for several minutes while prepping other foods ... then put everything on the sheet pan ... helps every thing cook to the right doneness at the same time
Yeah! More cooking videos, please! I’m a Nana and I loved these delicious pan dinner recipes! My kiddos and grandchildren will love them, too! Looking forward to your next video! I’ve already signed up! ❤
I was homeless for 3yrs. Now I finally have an apartment! My kids are grown with their own families, so it's just me. I enjoy watching, but agree with your mom, it's no fun to cook for 1
@@peggypeters6676 I felt compelled to share some info, having worked in public assistance since the 80s, now retired and a Salvation Army volunteer, you and others would be surprised the “good”(had a person once who used that term when they were bashing food stamps at a local meeting I was attending/presenting at) people who are what would be hidden homeless. In small towns, they can’t live on a street, but if you look closely you will see them in cars, “camping out” - but not at a campground, couch surfing friends places. Some are there because of their lack of motivation or addiction, many are not just simply too many part time jobs here with no benefits, no affordable reliable daycare or high shelter costs. Many people today have never had a parent willing to teach them to budget, how to cook at home stretching their $$ or clean a home. Heck a high school kid doesn’t get a home economics class in school; gone! mandated testing doesn’t give kids time for life education at school.
Try cooking for 1 when you’re in cancer treatmt, GF, low carb, low fat!! Sheet pan meals - SCORE!! I’ll put 2 meals on 1 pan w/ foil divider. For variety😜
sorry to hear you say this - have been cooking / baking for myself since 1979 and I love it - what I hate is paying so much more for one than multiples - hate that stores take advantage of students, single adults and esp seniors - that said I love having only my tastes (and health) to take into account when I plan and cook / bake - stay safe keep well 🇨🇦🙏
Sheet pans are a wonderful idea, ticks all the boxes. I fond this little sign, many of you might have seen it before - Who knew that the hardest part of being and adult is figuring out what to cook for dinner EVERY SINGLE NIGHT for the rest of your life!
Love that most of these are gluten free (or can easily be made so)! The doc told me last week to eliminate it, so I appreciate the ideas 😄 Also, I'm with you on the pineapple experience🍍
If you’ve never tried it, check out the Montreal spicy steak seasoning. It’s a game changer. We like making roasted potatoes and other veggies in the oven with it.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I love the new ideas for sheet pan dinners. I love prep, stick-in-the-oven and walk-away meals. They are great when my granddaughter comes over. She loves to help prep the vegetables. I love to just stick it in the oven part!
I also recovered you yesterday and I am on ww and your sheet pans are very fri😢 and your videos are great will look forward to more ideas. I am 70 now and debt free so a lot less stress in my golden years and I was like you make sure I did not overspend To plan for the future and I’m worried about the younger generation because I don’t see them saving and things are a lot rougher now
I do a chicken and potatoes dish too. Diced up boneless, skinless chicken breast, gold or red potatoes, diced up. Put them in a 9*13 baking dish, (two dishes for our family). Add 1-2 bottles of either greek or zesty Italian dressing. Toss to cote. Top with some parm cheese and bake on 350* for about 40-45 minutes. Awesome stuff, usually no left overs.
Let me just say! When I have a minute I will be sitting down and writing out these on my recipe cards so I can prep and freeze some of these for when I have a baby!!!!
Gluten can be a real issue with gut health. Since going gluten free, I've not had any issues. I highly encourage you to try it. I love the sheet pan meal with potatoes instead of gluten. The sausage might have gluten in it, though. I've been really checking labels lately. Being allergic to rice, means I have to make all my bread at home with corn flour I gride from masa or cornmeal. It's been worth it as most non glut products contain rice four.
My oven has a convection setting-same thing as an air fryer! After a 3 year tour in Hawaii, I vowed I would NEVER eat commercial pineapple again! I choose my own ripe pineapples at the store and can them myself...soooooo much better!
I only have 1 Sheet Pan Recipe that I like ( I've tried about a dozen) I cut up Potatoes into bite size, then cut various Veggies, and toss them in Olive Oil and sprinkle on Dry Ranch Dressing mix and coat all the veggies, and pour them onto a foil lined pan, place into oven @400 then cook for 15 minutes, meanwhile I slice a whole Kielbasa into 1/4 thick slices, pull the veggies and place the Kielbasa slices on top of the Veggies and back into the oven for about 15-20 minutes, when the Kielbasa starts to Char, keep it going until most are Charred and remove from the Oven, my Family LOVES to squirt on a little mustard from the Yellow Plastic Bottle to add to the seasoning.
My family favorite.. Italian sausage ground(sweet, mild or hot) kielbasa, sweet potato, carrots, brussel sprouts, red onion, small potatoes(for the ones not liking sweet potato). Drizzle olive oil over all of it, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, mix up.. Bake 400 for 20 to 30 minutes or until potatoes are done. Drizzle Maple syrup(real) over all. Delish
This may sound weird, but I own TWO air fryers for this reason. I air fry protein in one and veggies in the other so I can get them both done at the same time and using the amount of time proper to get them both done the way I like them. That is my alternative to finding ONE large air fryer.
I cook for one but LOVE having the leftovers for additional meals so I don't change the amounts at all! Thanks for so many great recipes all in one video!!
I loved this video! I'd love to see you make a roux for gumbo in an iron skillet. My mother was taught as a young wife by Mrs. Lausau (sp.? ha!) in 1939 in Pt. Neches, Tx. She made a deep brown roux and added NO okra or tomatoes, but did add a little file'. That little lady was from the southern coast of Louisiana, and Mother said she had quite a Cajun accent!
@frugalfitmom Christine, you commented during Chicken and Veggies that you wanted to know if anyone has a large air fryer they like. I LOVE my 9qt Beautiful by Drew Barrymore. I wanted share it, I never ever gave it a thought to do a full on sheet pan dinner until you said this! It has a removable middle wall, making one huge AF. Has lots of great settings for AF: Baking, reminder beep, dual cooking, baking, dehydrate, roast, broil. I’m an empty nester who loves AF larger items like burgers, steaks, pork chops, chicken & a side without waiting for one to be done empty and start the next. 10 qt Ninja prior to that, hated it because it was 2 narrow tall small air frying buckets that left little room to spread things out. I tried stack up racks in the buckets, but that was a pain in the butt lots of burnt knuckles taking the rack out to flip food, still too small for larger pieces of food and clean up. Ninja did have a great feature that timed the dual sides to be done at the same time, but no reminder turn beep. It seems really geared to the frozen snack maker, found a family person with teenagers and gave Ninja away.
I love how many vegetables you use :) I know they say we should eat more veggies & fruit nowadays, but I can never really figure out how to get myself & my family to enjoy it! So I thank you!😊
Absolutely the best sheet pan meals I have ever seen, & so simple, too. I like your hair darker. Hope I haven’t overstepped. Your little one is adorable! I just love your enthusiasm & you are infectious. Great job! ❤
Air fryer issues? I didn't buy an air fryer... 😱 Yes. I know it is shocking. The pan's are just too small. What I did get... an air fryer oven!!!! Yes there is a whole stove / oven WITH convection and Air Fryer settings!!! Best part, NO pre heat for the air fryer setting! I have the GE brand. Bonus, has a removable bottom in the oven for easy cleaning. (Yes 👍) It has been perfect for big portions and cooking for guests. Where the air fryer requires batch cooking, this gets it all done in one shot. 🙌 Best Mother's Day gift! It has definitely made dinners so much easier.
I absolutely love this channel. Amazing content as usual. Thank you so much. My family and I are in a dinner rut right now. All our usual meals are not interesting anymore. I'm planning all new meals this week. Thank you 💕🌟😇
I love these recipes so much, that I had everyone watch it repeatedly over with me. With the Summer heat I can't bring myself to prepare huge meals on the weekends. So I decided we would vote and pick 2 recipes a week to make on the weekend. 1st weekend was a huge success with the Sloppy Joe Pizza and Cajun Chicken. I'm looking forward to next week's winning recipes.
I made 3 more pumpkin recipes this weekend that can be found in those books. Mexican pumpkin chili, pumpkin soup and pumpkin spice cake. Yes I love pumpkin.
I also just discovered your channel and these recipes are fabulous! This will help me so much since cooking for one is hard…….. I can cut the recipes down a bit and will still have another serving! Thanks for making life easier and healthy! 😊⚓️😊
I love sheet pan meals. I live alone and customize for 2 meals. Soak the onions in some water for a few minutes and it takes that harsh taste away. When you said “some generic Paprika”. My Hungarian heart broke. In my area we always go to the Hungarian butcher. ☀️
Thank you for the variety of offerings. Haven't done much in sheet pan meals but you've sparked the inspiration and will be trying quite a few of these in the next month or so. You're also fun to watch😊
Always pronounce the "e" in "grazie". Every letter is pronounced in Italian and none are silent. Yes, you pronounce the "v" in "voilà" 🤣 This video was so much fun and very helpful indeed. Grazie!!!
I was just whining on another Channel that I don't have the timer energy to cook for my 88 year old mother and myself, and I think these meals could be the answer! However I'm not into any kind of spicy herbs so I would have to use recipes that just call for salt and maybe some garlic powders things that aren't going to burn my mouth 😂 thank you very much for showing how to do these!
Just came across this awesome video today, fantastic ideas thank you so much. I live by myself so it’s hard to cook for one. Now I have fast easy meals I can make that are nutritious as well thank you
Thx so much!! Because of my family's food allergies, I cant do soups, stews or casserols where everything is blended together. So I make a lot of sheet pan meals. But I was getting tired of it and needed new idras and inspiration.
Just came up with a new breakfast that is good. Put pimento cheese spread on a wrap. Add onions and green peppers.(Thise are chopped in freezer.) Add some bacon bits and microwave it. Quick, healthy and easy.
Becky, Everything looked wonderful! Kudos to you for remaining calm after the freezer incident. I probably would have had a full blown meltdown before continuing on. I am sorry this happened. Little kisses for Baby Acre. Love from Iowa.
OMG! Over an HOUR of easy one-pan meals together in one video!!??? SO EXCITED TO WATCH THIS, THANK YOU!
Shout out to students in dorms or single living occupancy - most sheet pan recipes can be done in a toaster oven - yup it works! Love ❤me some sheet pan meals - I'll be watching this vid as I prep some veggie and fruit and a lentil Bolognese for supper.
An hour of Christine cooking? Yes please!
Guess what - I’m vegetarian and I can change up all of these recipes, use beans in place of meat and tada- fresh ideas !! Yummy! Thank you!

You should NEVER cook anything with aluminum. Aluminum is very toxic and leaches into your food.
Non shiny down,is the side your food won’t stick…thank you Ohio for your tip.
You do know that whole shiny side up or down thing has been tested and it makes absolutely no differing cooking time. It’s a total myth.
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! I haven't done many sheet pan meals before and this will be very helpful ❤
Thank you Suzy, your tip is worth a try! I love trying new methods, recipes, etc

She’s the best!!
have fun binging!!! you've struck gold!
I wish I could be that new again to binge it all over again 😂
You will love Christine’s channel, welcome to the online fam😊
The bread goes crazy
It’s blazing hot here in Texas so I have been using the grill like an oven! Tin foil packets and cast iron for the win!
The fresh-cracked-pepper skit showing up multiple times throughout this was *chef's kiss*.
Thank you for these easy recipes. Been married for 54 years and am so tired of making the same old thing. Can't wait to try them
I don’t know how I’ve missed seeing you all the years I’ve been watching food videos but I just found you last week and I’ve been binge watching you!!!! Fantastic!!!!!
Christine is so cool and so dang funny. When I first discovered her, I binged watched her cooking vlogs and shopping ones, too. She has so many hacks.
😂Seriously. You need to get out more!😆
@@jessicasanchez5321 I won’t deny that at all😂😂
I LOVE how many times you said you were using up what you had in the fridge! Great summer fridge cleanout tor the WIN!
"Is this vegetarian!?" 😂
Our family is vegan, but these sheet pan dinners are so simple, you can really swap in any type of protein. Love this!
I would love to learn more about how to substitute tofu and get my family to actually eat it. I'm the only one who tries to eat healthy in my house.
Of course it can be vegan. Just leave out the animal products and substitute with tofu or add some other plant protien.
That's why i love her channel! Im vegan too, but her recipes arent too meat centric, so i get so many cooking ideas and so much inspiration from her videos 🫡
“What’s for dinner?”is my dreaded question of the day from my hubby!!

I've got two air fryers, too! Starting to think it's a necessity that way. :D
Christine, this video was wonderful. I'll need to watch it again to fully absorb everything. Thanks.
All looks yummy and quick. My only advice would be to turn your parchment paper in the other direction so it matches the shape of/covers the pan!
Christine, your hair looks beautiful in this video! Sorry about the tummy trouble hope you are feeling better. Thanks for all of your great ideas. ❤
I love this marathon! It keeps reminding me of recipes I tried after I saw them the first time. I’m definitely going to do some of them again.
What satisfying video! Love sheet pan meals! Nothing goes to waste and thats my jam❤
There’s a video she made a while back. She does her roux in the oven. I can verify that it is easy and turns out great!
So I thank you!😊
You could also try thyme as an option on your lemon rosemary chicken. Thyme is my favorite and a classic is French cooking.😊
I like the speed of your videos, not too slow. Also some of these look great and easy!!!
21 seasoning salute is so so good!
Yes. (Yes 👍)
It has been perfect for big portions and cooking for guests. Where the air fryer requires batch cooking, this gets it all done in one shot. 🙌
Best Mother's Day gift! It has definitely made dinners so much easier.
Wow !!! Amazing recipes and videos !!! It all looks amazing !!!! Thank you Christine !!!!
I miss the dubbley-doo! Please bring it back. Everything looks amazing you inspired me!
Yay!! I can’t wait to try these new ones! My family loves the pineapple chicken sheet pan one from this video! ❤ thanks!
I absolutely love this channel. Amazing content as usual. Thank you so much. My family and I are in a dinner rut right now. All our usual meals are not interesting anymore. I'm planning all new meals this week. Thank you 💕🌟😇
Love all these recipes! Thank you so much. Making your bread today!
I love these sheet pan dinner ideas. So fresh, healthy, delicious and easy.
I'm looking forward to next week's winning recipes.
where's the recipe for sloppy joe pizza
I made 3 more pumpkin recipes this weekend that can be found in those books. Mexican pumpkin chili, pumpkin soup and pumpkin spice cake. Yes I love pumpkin.
I also just discovered your channel and these recipes are fabulous! This will help me so much since cooking for one is hard…….. I can cut the recipes down a bit and will still have another serving! Thanks for making life easier and healthy! 😊⚓️😊
I love Sheet Pan Dinners because they are SO EASY! Thank you for the great ideas. You are one of my FAVORITES. Many Blessings to You and Your Family!
Everything looks amazing, great for our winter months 🍁👍👏
Always pronounce the "e" in "grazie". Every letter is pronounced in Italian and none are silent.
Yes, you pronounce the "v" in "voilà" 🤣 This video was so much fun and very helpful indeed. Grazie!!!
I love watching your channel. Definitely saving this video, because I'm going to make all of these recipes with my random marked down foods!
Shared this with all my recently married and soon to be married kids!!
I have been taking seed for 4 months now, and love it! Love your sheet pan recipes!
Did you say “scridiption box?!” So funny. I love bloopers - so endearing. Thank you for your videos!
I think you mean this comment for Becky’s channel……
