just wanted to say that you are a VERY clear communicator, I really appreciate that. Thank you for cutting out the fluff and getting to the point so eloquently!
Great video, @5:16 you we're talking about every week you have a newsletter and you didn't want to have to remember the checklist every week but you never showed how you would repeat that process once the checklist was complete? Would you just unclick the checklist and move it to the to-do list to be repeated?
Great question, Marc! All you have to do is copy the existing checklist to a new card by opening a new card and clicking 'checklist' 'copy items from' and selecting the checklist you want to copy over. Hope this helps and I'll show this process in a future video. :)
I am a Beginner using Trello long time personal lines and commercial agent insurance. new job employer uses Trello so I'm learning from the beginning & I have to train others as the new Administrator. Thanks for this video I cant wait for the next one!👍😀
Thank you, from another Kimberly Ann! I am new to all this and only just HEARD about Trello this week. I like how simple and easy your tutorial was to follow and I look forward to learning more.
@@f4iryt4le66 Trello now automatically adds your board to a Workspace. If you don't have any, it automatically sets up a default one under your user name. You can remove the board from the workspace: You can delete a Workspace by going to your Workspace's page in Trello, clicking on the "Settings" tab, and then clicking the "Delete this Workspace" link. You must be an admin to delete the Workspace. Deleting a Workspace is permanent and there is no undo. Boards within the Workspace won’t be deleted. Unfortunately, I'm finding that Trello recreates the workspace the next time you create a board, but this is a workaround.
Great tips! I love Trello. I have so much in there right now that I like your idea to have a workflow for goals for the week/daily to do's . I just made a new board that will keep me on task. Now I just need to come up with some good labels. Your $$$$ labels are brilliant. Would love to learn more about Power Ups.
Yay! I totally get what you mean. I brain dump on my board too and this system helps me stay focused. Powerups are coming in PT 3 of this series, so stay tuned! ♥️
Wow!!!!!!! I love your demo. You are great ....I just started trying to learn how trellis and I am so lost. But you cover everything I need to know to get started. Thank you very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is such a cool tool which will help eliminate headaches, be organized and increase efficiency and productivity. Well done Kimberly. Thank you! Olga
Thank you. This covers a lot, far more than the basics. I'm still missing some of the basics like how you created the bullet list. Another thing is how to access Trello Help -- the ? does not take me to a help menu. I opened a template to see what it looked like and I cannot figure out how to close it.
I use Restyaboard, another good free project and task management software that comes with a range of comparable features to Trello, such as the Kanban board view (much like Trello) and advanced workflow automation.
This was an excellent tool. thank you for sharing the tidbits. how did you add the dollar value lables? is that another power up or you just typed a lable in a gary color block?
Thanks for the tutorial! Have you heard of any ways that specifically therapists use Trello? I'm wondering how I could use it best in my business. thanks!
Hey Natalie, yes! I know several therapists in our programs who use it to manage their marketing as well as admin, and general business to-dos. I'd love to refer you to Dr. Amber Lyda over at @onlinetherapistgroup. She specializes in helping therapists grow their businesses and she’s incredible!
