Mock Driving Test - UK Practical Driving Test
This is Osama who found us through UA-cam and wanted to do a mock test to see how he performs and see if he'd be ready for test. He has taken lessons with another driving school and has had some practice with friends and family.
In the video the text colour would mean:
GREEN: GOOD POINTS
AMBER: ADVISORY AND MINOR FAULTS
RED: SERIOUS AND DANGEROUS FAULTS

I know you made a number of major faults on this mock test, but it was a particularly hard one with lots to look out for and it was your first one. You also got panicked when you knew you'd made a few mistakes and that had a snowball effect with the rest of the test. It's nerve-wracking stuff. But remember to take your time and don't focus on what has been, but what's to come. All in all, you drove very well for someone with only 20 hours under there belt. With more practice, you will get better. Good luck.

Passed my test 2 days ago first time and no minors. 💯😁
I failed my first driving test on Thursday :( 4 minors and 1 serious. Not upset, just frustrated, as it was going so well, I was calm, and felt like I was gonna pass. But then after I indicated to leave a roundabout, my indicator didn't go off, and I was too busy trying to figure out what lane I needed to be in for the approaching roundabout. Obviously a dangerous error as there were junctions on the left where cars may have thought I was turning and emerged. Super frustrating, as I could have had a license by now! :( I've re-booked my test and waiting for a cancellation. Here's hoping 2nd time lucky!!

The examiner will calculate when to give an instruction to keep on the test route in good time by factoring in your speed and to some extent reactions. At 17:26 we are on an open road at a good speed to make progress. "We're gonna take the next road on your right" this should put you onto MSM (PSL) procedure straight away whilst observing. In this case looking for evidence of a side road on the right. I see a set of keep left bollards ahead and would be slowing a bit while confirming "is that the side road?" When a bit nearer we see vehicles queueing to emerge and confirm that is the side road. So at our reduced speed we can further regulate our speed to suit. This would enable us at 17:38 where the "SLOW" sign is to enter the right turn refuge at the start and get the whole vehicle in it preparing to stop if necessary as we draw slowly along the refuge. Then there would be a decision to turn in if safe. The candidate seems to not react to the initial instruction and blunders in at high speed with a sudden turn giving a serious fault/fail.
This was the exact route I took on my test including the Parallel park location. This video was so helpful! I passed yesterday with 5 minors 🙌thanks again

@4:58 Examiner FAILED by using the word "OF" instead of "HAVE" in the on screen commentary. I.E - "Should HAVE used the wipers etc ". Lol.
7:36. Hold up. It's 3rd exit to the right. He emerges in the right lane but then gets into the middle lane.. Am I missing something?

Exactly. Surprised more people haven't said this. Terrible parking position. Rohit does tend to miss a few things; he barely glances at the driver to determine mirror checks. I suspect he's adding those observations after the fact and I'm wondering more and more whether Rohit is ADI qualified. One one video he told someone they could fail their test for giving a wrong answer to show me/tell me (not true).

TBF @ 9 : 25 that wagon didn't give him much time to check the mirror. Wagon should have waited instead of forcing his way through. But as he is in a bigger vehicle and is in a rush we should all just wait for him right? Just as well he didn't fail solely based on that .

I had my driving test on Thursday but unfortunately failed. Too busy trying to figure out what lane I needed to be in on approach to a roundabout and I didn't realise that my indicator was still on from the previous roundabout. I will tell you though, that the test itself isn't that bad. Once I was in the car and was driving, I just treated it like any other lesson. Listened to the examiners directions and drove accordingly. It's really not that bad. Don't be nervous about failing!! It was crap to hear the words "unfortunately you haven't passed on this occasion" but in all honestly I wasn't that upset. Frustrated, yes! But not sad. Try not to be negative. If you imagine the negative outcome, there is more chance of it happening. Imagine passing!! Imagine hearing "I'm happy to say that you've passed" and focus on that. And if you fail, join the club. So many people I know failed their first driving test. VERY few pass first time, and it's probably mostly down to luck. It took my cousin 4 times before she passed, and she's a fantastic driver now!

On my test there was a no entry towards the end of the road, but the road was so busy so I wasn’t looking ahead, rather checking my mirrors constantly. I didn’t go through the no entry I just stopped before it, had to reverse back and then go right. I noticed the no entry myself, I didn’t have to be told. I failed. Should I have?
I failed because the examiner had to verbally get involved even though he didn't, he didn't tell me it was one way, I noticed myself and corrected it.
Man that's tough, feel for you man. I guess you just gotta be more vigilant with road signs. I be missing them too here and there
