If I was Arielle’s instructor, I’d be SO proud!! She’s a brilliant, confident and cautious driver! Definitely a pupil worthy of a driving license. I wish her all the best! 🎉
Bless her heart, was so nice to see her struggle to stop smiling once told that would've been a pass. I bet those words alone gave her enough confidence not to make the slight flaws like hesitation.
Your videos are very informal and quite soothing too. You have a very calm voice as to which I’m confident is the reason many of your students pass. It doesn’t help to have someone screaming in your ear about what to do in certain situations.
Arielle drives really nicely! Good driving is so much about regularity -- i.e. sticking up to routines and following them consistently: not just because they are there to be followed, but because this is the way to ensure you do everything that's necessary on time. Add some common sense to that and you're good to go -- Arielle is excellent on both counts, so she's a real pleasure to watch driving. Also, it was fun to see a bit of new scenery: this neighbourhood looked quite different from the places that other drives were filmed at. I really liked some of the views: especially, the view of the river, roughly around 10:00 of the video
she's a great driver, i'm sure she will pass with flying colours! im only 15 hours into my lessons but i'm really struggling with remembering to check mirrors, not sure how to get myself to check them :(
@@mohammedraheemaslam4871 just treat it like a normal lesson. This wasn't my first attempt. I started treating it like I was on a lesson with my instructor and it really helped. Good luck
A brilliant drive from Areille although I thought when she stopped at 12:45, she was very close to an a wide turning on the left which could have obstructed a vehicle turning into it. She should smash her driving test though.
Yes but if you rewatch 12:45 , you will see that Aman told her to park there ❤️ telling her it’s fine, of course it’s an obstruction which they definitely both know xx
I've already passed my license but I still watch your videos to make sure im still driving to standard and to be honest it feels a lot smoother driving nowadays since I have these videos on my mind haha

I enjoy these videos. It puts my driving in check all the time. I've been driving for 10 years or so and I still make thr silly mistakes. Your calm demeanor helps too.

I'm actually feeling rather annoyed about so many people not having their lights on in that weather. All cars manufactured since 2011 have DRLs by law.
Such a brilliant driver and great instructor!!! Why didn't she signal right when she was in the right lane and then signal left when turning left and drift over to the left?? My instructor always tells me to do this.... I don't understand please clarify
You shouldn’t be allowing her to signal before moving away until it’s safe to go, if another vehicle behind was to change there speed to let her out that would be marked as a serious fault. You should only signal to beg other traffic when they are moving at a similar speed.
I ended up failing with 1 serious fault (cutting corners) and 12 minors, obviously not ideal so hopefully I get a cancellation otherwise I'm unlikely to be driving until November 😔
Hi Aman, if i did stall, how would i know if the engine is off and i need to press the start/stop button or if it will come on automatically just by pressing the clutch
Could anyone explain if it's possible to get a driver's license in the UK without driving with an instructor? It feels like everyone on the channel has so many hours with an instructor. Meanwhile, me and my friends from northern Europe barely took any lessons. So is it mandatory in the UK?
It's not mandatory but a good idea as, driving without one could cause you to pick up some bad habits. They also teach you alot about how to think while driving too.
@@leannemoore2620 I have my drivers license but I'm not from UK. Only had 3 lessons with driving instructors and the most I know someone had (from my friends) was 20, and that's considered an insane amount here. Most have around 5
You would've failed the UK driving test with only 3 hours of experience. How can you learn to drive with so little? Maybe you don't count driving with friends and family as practice? Those count as driving hours as well. Coming from an EU country, you can just exchange your license with a British one without taking any tests. But there can be some road differences which could result in too many points. For example, a habit of driving on the wrong (right) side of the road.
Arielle did really well - but at the end I was yelling at my computer screen "LOOK AT THE REVERSING CAMERA! YOU'RE IN THE BAY!" 😂. Test in a few weeks should go well!
if you are following the instructors direction and you miss a left turn would that be a fault or would they just keep directing you to get back to the route ?
It's not a fault as long as your driving is safe and lane discipline correct etc, an example I think of say your unsure what direction they asked you to go, and you remember once you've entered the roundabout they wanted you to take the 1st exit, but if you try to take it suddenly you'd most likely cause a hazard because you won't have time for MSM, but you could either continue round the roundabout or take the next exit which ever seems least likely to cause you to make a mistake, and the instructor will continue to direct you.
Going the wrong way isn't a fault in and of itself. What often happens is the candidate realises right before, then tries to correct it at the last minute, which is where faults (usually serious / dangerous) would come up due to missing mirror checks and poor signalling.
Hey guys looking for some advice. I'm on nearly 50 lessons with my current instructor, mock test not been offered and I've also bought my own car. Which I also go out in and drive every week, preparing for test. Current instructor keeps saying I'm not ready and about two months ago I made it clear I wanted a test. Had to change the date so I paid for cancellations and that cost another £30. Still no test. What can I do? Feel like I'm being taken advantage of because I'm studying all the show me, tell me questions and watching videos like these online too!
Hey best to ask your instructor if they are booking your test or you need to book it yourself. Not sure what the £30 would be for The test waiting time is about 5 months at the moment With your lessons try and get your instructor to get you to drive 10-15 independently and see how you get on. So it’s similar to a mock test Hope this helps :)
Just about to start giving my daughter driving lesion is the parking bay the only thing they do know what about 3 point turn and reverse round a corner and the parallel parking
no one's talking about this, feel sorry for new drivers, learnt with my dad who as far as i'm concerned is the most disciplined driver i know, not a single minute with a driving instructor and passed first time years ago.. sickening you'd have to fork out that much just to learn the strict rules of the roads in england, you'd be hard pressed to find even 2% of young american drivers paying that much for driving lessons, it's only the UK that makes you think getting a license is a privilege
Also not everyone has access to a car for private practice so it may just be that the only time they are able to gain their experiences is with their instructor.

I don't understand why people are taking too many lessons before getting to proper test, is 30-40 hours average nowadays? It shouldn't be more than 20
Everyone learns at a different rate and plus learning to drive in her city is challenging. Also the fact they are learning in a manual car
I would say 20-30 hours is pretty standard in the UK
Also not everyone has access to a car for private practice so it may just be that the only time they are able to gain their experiences is with their instructor.
