A summary and analysis of my favorite quest from one of my favorite games- Fallout 2. All music is from the Fallout 2 or Fallout: New Vegas soundtrack.
Boning Bishop's daughter, then making him a cuckold in the same day will always be one of my all time gaming chuckles. He gets super duper angry about it. Lol.
He probably doesn’t actually care that much. That’s why his wife and daughter hate him. I don’t even think he kills you over it because it doesn’t affect his position of power.
Fallout clearly by far has more fans than elder scrolls, so it’s so confusing that Bethesda neglects what the fans want, when the fans make it clear what they want.
Loved the video and fallout 2. Just one thing about the presentation: please partially crop in your high resolution shots. Its impossible to see anything on a phone :D
@@BSEUNHIR Yeeeah, sorry about that. I zoomed in or otherwise summarized the text for most of the important stuff (like when voiced characters are talking) but yeah, if I’d realized how it would look on phones I’d probably have zoomed in more and/or changed the game resolution. My bad.
I'm still not sure what the correct moral choice is here. The NCR does end slavery in their conquest ending, though it's still a lot more corrupt than it ought to be. A Wright/Allied Vault City ending would imply an autonomous Reno/Vault City/Redding axis, but with slavery still around. Though, of course, they are still allied with the NCR it seems, so perhaps the ending is just one step closer to a more fair annexation.
Any ending that favors the NCR will always be the better one, because despite its flaws, the NCR is a democratic society and so has a *chance* to correct those flaws. Meanwhile the societies of Vault City and New Reno are intrinsically corrupt, to their very core.
Very valid reasoning, although (and perhaps I should’ve conveyed this better in the video) it is possible to get either of the endings where Vault City is annexed by the NCR but not get the ending where the Bishops take over Vault City, if you don’t do the assassination jobs for Bishop and/or if you help another one of the Reno families.
Cool video. I must have played NV about 10 times to completion and didn't know about that quest
Now i gotta replay fallout 2 for the 12th time 😢
Rookie numbers
Love the fact if you decide to wipe all the bishops the rival family boss will literally sweat out of nervousness if you want to talk to em
nice video, ive never played the game but the video is well made and i really enjoyed watching it
@@TukumaAZ Thank you!

Ride’s over, mutie.
Stellar video for such a small channel!
@@jashloseher578 Thank you so much! Here’s hoping it won’t always be a small channel lol

I beat Angela Bishop to death and gained reputation
This video fucking rules

I'm so sorry... but was 1:19 a Half Life reference?
Not a deliberate reference, but Half-Life is probably why that phrase was in my vocabulary so kind of I guess
@@Caesar_Salad_Man :O
nice job
What tips the scale against Bishops for me is that Bishops become prominent political force in the NCR, corrupting it from within.

I gotta replay two. My first run was so bad
