When I had an artisan mouse pad., zero . at my desk, I would just spray it with Lysol disinfected and use a microfiber cloth to clean it. Worked perfectly and the pad always looked and felt brand new afterward. That method is also actually recommended by artisan.
in long term do you felt that using lysol changed the glide of your artisan? i'm about to start using this method with my raiden mid but im afraid that in long term the glide of the pad can change

I have the artisan zero and every time I put water on it bubbles come out. I think I put too much soap but it might be just something to do with the mousepads because I’ve been scrubbing and rinsing it for an hour with 0 change and the bubbles aren’t iridescent
does it effect the rubber base at all? a bit of a stupid question but i could imagine it effects it in some way either makes it more sticky or slippery
I did this like 2 years ago and it just slows the mousepad down. I mean the texture doesn't seem to be wash friendly and became slower than my brother's artisan zero. The hien can't really be washed without it slowing down because its very fragile. maybe if you wash it 3 times over different occasions until it slows down a lot but it definitely slows down maybe 5-10% each time depending on how hard you do it. maybe regular mouse pads slow down like 2% each wash but the hien basically can't truly maintain the same speed after washing it I'm pretty sure.
Ive had my artisan pad for over a year now and its really gunked up, all my previous attempts at washing it I was too gentle with it, I had never tried rubbing all the shit out with my hands. Just spent about 30 minutes going at it with my hands and getting all the dried up cum out of the pad and I gotta say I think youve saved my pad from its slow self, its drying right now but the amount of shit that came out of it, its gonna feel brand new.
So i've had my zero for just over a month, really dirty when looking at it sideways from across the room, almost like a shine to the wrist area where I use it and the top of my mouse skate (where that rubs on the pad) Question: Its literally stuck to my desk its insane, will it be like this after washing or can I expect a slippery base? First mousepad I've not had to put anything on and i'd like to keep it that way.
