    I did this like 2 years ago and it just slows the mousepad down. I mean the texture doesn't seem to be wash friendly and became slower than my brother's artisan zero. The hien can't really be washed without it slowing down because its very fragile. maybe if you wash it 3 times over different occasions until it slows down a lot but it definitely slows down maybe 5-10% each time depending on how hard you do it. maybe regular mouse pads slow down like 2% each wash but the hien basically can't truly maintain the same speed after washing it I'm pretty sure.

    I have the artisan zero and every time I put water on it bubbles come out. I think I put too much soap but it might be just something to do with the mousepads because I’ve been scrubbing and rinsing it for an hour with 0 change and the bubbles aren’t iridescent

    lol! So glad I have a sky pad 3.0. Just a simple swipe over top of it with a microfiber cloth from time to time. When I had an artisan mouse pad., zero . at my desk, I would just spray it with Lysol disinfected and use a microfiber cloth to clean it. Worked perfectly and the pad always looked and felt brand new afterward. That method is also actually recommended by artisan.

    • @saveig
      @saveig 8 місяців тому

      in long term do you felt that using lysol changed the glide of your artisan? i'm about to start using this method with my raiden mid but im afraid that in long term the glide of the pad can change

    • @s5pph
      @s5pph 7 місяців тому

      @@saveigi’ve used the lysol method for 2 years and it just begins to work less and less and it wears off faster and faster. that’s why i’m here at this video lol. i don’t feel like it’s affected my pad in any permanent way, but i feel like it’s a more short term solution

    I've always done mine like this, but now the middle is just irreversibly muddy. Rewashed it twice and nothing. The texture feels different. Sucks :( I wanted a Zero anyways, so I guess it's an excuse to upgrade. Hien always felt slightly off for me.

    I bought the cheapest sleeve on amazon and I'm pretty sure it's the same as the spandex sleeve in the video. It has different branding but looks the same and has the same weird pattern you show at 2:27 For cloth pads it'd be too slow for me but on glass which i bought it for they're great. I got a pack of 4 sleeves for 5€
