Let me tell you this: I think you have Just saved my keto journey. I was tired of eating watery bitter zoodles. Your tips just made the trick. Cooked this with a few shrimps, garlic and cream .... gamechanger!!! I’ll be eternally in debt for thos
Thank you for this video. You explained it clearly, and the sounds of the kid in the background made it feel like you were explaining it to me personally. 🙏🏻😀
Hi Emm, I don't think a salad spinner would work well because they are designed to remove surface water. It's best to squeeze the interior water out with a nut bag or clean dish towel. I sure hope you like the zoodles!
You may not get as much water out, but you would still be able to get a lot of it out. I haven't tried it without salting but I think it would work! Sure hope you like it!
Are you using Kosher Salt? I would only recommend using kosher salt. Table salt and even himilayan salt are more concentrated with salt for the amount you use. Try kosher salt!
@@Tasteslovely i wound up making them after I commented. By far the best method for zucchini noodles. My mushy noodle problem has been solved thank you
Thanks you’re terrific at explaining and showing how to make the BEST Zucchini Noodles but as a constructive suggestion don’t have your baby screaming in the background. It diminishes how good you are.
After what felt like forever I found this video, thank you so much. This is honestly the most informative video I've found on this.
So glad you enjoyed it Josh!
I love hearing your family in the background ❤
Wow I'm so thankful for your video. I didn't let the salt draw out the water but I did use a cheese cloth and boy did it do the job.
So glad it worked for you! Thank you!
Use this water in soup will be so good cause it has all the vitamins and nutrients from zucchini

So thankful I stumbled on your video 🙌🏽
Me too!
Making it this way next time! I always thought I would ruin the zoodles if I squeezed! 👏🏼🤯
Nope, doesn't ruin them. Makes them not soggy. :)
I love them so good!!
Thank you!
Great idea!! I also use my salad spinner and it help getting the water out 😄
That's actually such a great idea! I love that idea!

Thanks Donna! So glad you liked them.
Great tips. Very helpful. Thanks.
So glad!
I'm a beginner cook so please pardon this newbie question: Would using a salad spinner help to draw out some of the water?
Hi Emm, I don't think a salad spinner would work well because they are designed to remove surface water. It's best to squeeze the interior water out with a nut bag or clean dish towel. I sure hope you like the zoodles!
I have high blood pressure so I don't add salt to anything. Have you ever skipped the salt and went straight to squeezing in the nut bag?
You may not get as much water out, but you would still be able to get a lot of it out. I haven't tried it without salting but I think it would work! Sure hope you like it!
Thanks
You're welcome!
I did this and it was too salty, what am I doing wrong? Seems rinsing it defeats the purpose.

What brand is your spiralizer?
Here is a link to it:

Why ghee?
Because it is delicious and crazy easy to make. 🤪
You could also use a little bit of olive oil instead.
What's the texture like?
Like noodles Danny. They aren't mushy at all. I sure hope you like it.

@@AulesHammer Yeah! So glad you liked it!
Ok, I'm going to get this bag and try your method... I'm so over mushy zoodles
Who else was counting the turns lmao 🤣 sorry just me ok love the vid
Lol! :)
I hope I never have to say “nut milk bag” out loud ickypooooo
haha!
The background noise is super distracting.
You squeezed out all of the nutrients. I will deal with the soggy.
You can chug the bowl with all the squeezed out juice and have dry zucchini pasta. Win win!
I used a lingerie bag. It worked well.
Great tip Rebecca! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the tip Patricia.
well this real life, especially during the pandemic. maybe just be grateful
I didn’t mind hearing the baby. He/she was pretty good as far as babies go anyway!
I suspect that no one realizes you are making a video. Geez!
Why ghee?
It's just my preference. If you don't like ghee you could use olive oil, butter or non dairy butter.
