So.. I bought and used curology sept 2021, before it was in stores like this; for mild breakouts. And I tell you what….. it burneddddd my skin so badly. I had no idea it was burning my skin, I thought I was “purging” per the “online dermatologist” and just stinging a little which meant it was working etc. so stupid 🤦🏻♀️. It took me over a year to get my normal skin back. I’ve finally balanced my skin back out and I’m back to my normal skin but it’ll never be like it was before this. I had such beautiful skin and got curology to help cure a few breakouts and it forever changed my skin. Be veryyyyyy aware of what your buying before you do. I thought I new SO much about skincare. I sure did not.
I think the issue with the Australian Gold is that it is insanely drying. A lot of mineral sunscreens do that to me but the AG one was by far the most drying I've ever used, and my face is an oil slick most of the time.

22:30 this Vaseline advanced repair lotion isn't fragrance free either, though - it's "unscented" using cedrol as a masking fragrance. I noticed it when I bought the up up dupe and it smelled woodsy, then I checked the Vaseline one and saw it also contains cedrol.
Yes I noticed some of them have fragrance too. Got to find the one that says fragrance free. I recently tried the extra dry skin clinical something like that it was ok
That new coppertone sunscreen is fantastic. Live in Florida and it’s really quick drying and lightweight and love that it’s fragrance free and so cheap for the face and body without feeling tight or stingy like nutrogena on my face
I mix a tiny bit of Cotz flawless finish sunscreen with the Australian Gold...really makes it less drying. The Cotz on its own seems to never dry down.
As a teen in the late 80's in Florida, I used the baby oil for 4 hours between 11am and 3pm tanning next to the pool. I ended up having 1st degree burns. I was out from school for a week and the peeling was awful. Wish i could say I wore sun screen after that... Now I do.
I snagged that new mineral sunscreen from neutrogena yesterday and its amazing! I usually don't like mineral sunscreens but this one is so well formulated! I am wearing the medium shade and its a perfect match for my skin tone. I am so glad its a neutral tone and I love that its a sheer coverage! Thanks for the recommendation!

I find the Vaseline Dry Hands Rescue Hand Cream to be great stuff- it’s actually far less greasy than their Vaseline body cream and it absorbs quickly to nice non-slippery texture along with being fragrance-free and about $5 for a nice big tube
When I was in my teens, my friends and I suntanned with baby oil, and we used silver blankets to lay on. The silver blankets were supposed to help you tan faster. Insanity!!! We never had heard of sunscreen until we were burnt to a crisp on a Florida beach. This beautiful, tanned girl came over and showed us a sunscreen that she sold. We all grabbed it, and it helped! Now that I’m 64, sunscreen is a daily must!!!
I agree that CeraVe needs to come out with new sunscreens. I like their tinted mineral formula but the tube is very messy to use and they need more shades. Their other mineral based products are awful looking on the skin, so casty and streaky. Yuck. 😮 I recently purchased a tube of the new Vaseline Intensive Care Deep Moisture Body Cream and LOVE IT!! I use it right out of the shower and the hydration is awesome. My skin is so soft and less itchy which is fantastic in mid- February. Can't beat the price either. 😊 Thanks for another shopping video Dr. Dray! 👍
I am going to decant sunscreen into small glass dropper bottles to keep in my handbag. It will be a convenient, mess free way of reapplying sunscreen to my hands, face, neck etc. I will recycle my empty Essence nail polish drying drops bottles. I will clean and sterilise the glass bottle, glass pippette and rubber bulb before carefully pouring in the sunscreen. I'll do a few bottles at once to make it more time effective. I will continue to carry a larger size sunscreen too, as needed. I was previously donating the dropper bottles to a local animal sanctuary, but it has recently closed, so I will also collect more glass dropper bottles (from my skincare empties) and find another animal rescue to donate them to. 👱♀️❤
Australian Gold is my all time favorite. They have great coverage and the are amazing as a makeup primer. They have had the 3 shade ranges for a while now. I mix the 2 lightest shades to make my perfect match. I especially love this to conceal under my eyes.

However, my resting facial expression can look sad due to marionette lines. I recently purchased the Nuface and hope this will help but admittedly, I have not opened the box since this is my busy season as an accountant. I fear it may be a purchase regret!
I went to Target a few weeks ago after watching your video on the tinted Neutrogena SPF, and ended up picking up the Australian Gold one instead as the price better suited my budget… I have incredibly dry skin, and it has been such a godsend. Tinted SPFs always settle into dry patches on my face, but never that one 😁😁

I have the Australian Gold, it's drying on me (I have sensitive skin). I have to use a good Moisturizer first and I've been using it underneath my new eucerin mineral tinted sunscreen and works great! The second one gives me a nice color and glow.... I've been enjoying this combination very much, and that way I can still use the Australian Gold one 👍 Agree! Cerave really needs to come out with new shades... I loveeee the Vaseline Deep Moisture body cream, I use it on my hands before bed ❤️

Dr. Dray - I tried the sunscreen you recommended in your last K Beauty video (the Centella brand). Let me tell you… I have tried EVERY trendy Korean sunscreen and let me tell you, this may be my all time favorite! I love that it’s a lotion consistency but not heavy and doesn’t sting. And best of all it’s not too dewy - not a fan of that look and this just makes my skin look natural and hydrated.

I love these target shop with me videos! Target is my favorite store and they always get me with their body care deals. I've already made like several online orders this month lol I've been wanting to try some brands I've never tried before, such as vanicream. And I had to restock on my adapalene. I've tried a good share of sunscreens and my favorites are the kids sunscreen from black girl sunscreen and the melt in milk from LRP. These will probably be my go to sunscreens from now on. Curology set me back years! My dry eczema acne prone skin hated every product of theirs, took a good 6 months to get back on track from less than 2 weeks of use

Yesterday bought la roche posay lipikar baume Ap+M rich texture (not the light version) 200 ml and tried it wow so hydrating (both face and body) and the sensation wow again 😍. 10:30 new shades and new formulation, I find it to be less drying than the original, although I never had a problem with the original It was my go to summer face sunscreen for years before discovering Asian sunscreens. I still buy from time to time
The Aveeno Eczema Care Moisturizing Cream, the ingredients in this product are very similiar to the Aveeno Baby... the packaging is different. I use the Aveeno Baby, I do like the smooth texture of this cream, absorbs very nicely and is also fragrance free. The Hello Bello Premium Baby Lotion (fragrance free) and shampoo are two products that I use also. Thanks Dr Dray for sharing your time with us 🛍

I’m a fan of the Australian gold sunscreen. I make a compound of that, hero mineral sunscreen and Eucerin sunscreen. Mix it together and cover my face with it. Doesn’t sting or burn. Doesn’t dry the skin on my face . My Derm doctor laughs , calls me a compound pharmacist.

I tried Curology and the only thing I liked was the micellar makeup remover. It was a little more gel-like the liquid. To me, it rinses cleaner than balms do.

I was just at Walmart yesterday and saw a new product from Panoxyl! A mineral sunscreen!?!? The box said new sheer formula. Can you review it please??? My face is so picky when it comes to sunscreens. It currently doesn’t mind the green tinted one from Hero and the peachy one from Versed. Thank you!!!
I got a sample of the moisturizer & the cleanser with my first Curology Rx box (I just started tret) and the moisturizer was fine but I already have my favorites but the cleanser is actually really nice.
That Vaseline handcare is much thicker than their lotions. I always have a tube of that on my nightstand and put it on every night. Thick but nongreasy and much different than their lotions. I tried the Vaseline skin relief and it was super thin and did nothing for my skin. That Coppertone spf for the face is great. My daughter uses it and I do on occasion. Its the only one that doesnt breakout or irritate her face.
I’ve always enjoyed Curology products. The gel moisturizer is a touch pricey but it’s probably my favorite gel moisturizer I’ve tried. They also have a mineral sunscreen that I’ve been liking.

I love that up and up shea butter and oatmeal body wash. Doesn’t irritate my skin at all and is nicely moisturizing

Yes! AG - great makeup primer. Since Dr. Dray has said many times, "put sunscreen on eyelids," I discovered it's good eyeshadow primer also!

That vaseline sensitive skin relief is very hard to find online.
Ha! Bag balm. In the dog show community we used to use that on our dogs paws and noses

I love these target shop with me videos! Target is my favorite store and they always get me with their body care deals. I've already made like several online orders this month lol I've been wanting to try some brands I've never tried before, such as vanicream. And I had to restock on my adapalene. I've tried a good share of sunscreens and my favorites are the kids sunscreen from black girl sunscreen and the melt in milk from LRP. These will probably be my go to sunscreens from now on. Target sure did not disappoint that's for sure. What to say the Aveeno, coppertone ( my mother used to buy me coppertone every summer 😂😇🙏💛), target's products both effective and not so budget tightening and many other deals (ready to be seen and found 😎). Yesterday bought la roche posay lipikar baume Ap+M rich texture (not the light version) 200 ml and tried it wow so hydrating (both face and body) and the sensation wow again 😍.

10:30 new shades and new formulation, I find it to be less drying than the original, although I never had a problem with the original It was my go to summer face sunscreen for years before discovering Asian sunscreens. I still buy from time to time
The Aveeno Eczema Care Moisturizing Cream, the ingredients in this product are very similiar to the Aveeno Baby... the packaging is different. I use the Aveeno Baby, I do like the smooth texture of this cream, absorbs very nicely and is also fragrance free. The Hello Bello Premium Baby Lotion (fragrance free) and shampoo are two products that I use also. Thanks Dr Dray for sharing your time with us 🛍
My blonde hair stood on end when you said that Australian Gold cost MORE in the darkest tone. How could they charge more for women of a deeper skin tone? Smacks of something sinister, if you know what I mean.
Neutrogena Ultra Sheer dry touch 70 SPF works great for my face and under makeup.
They have had those shades of Australian Gold for awhile, I like them but the Fair is very orange.

I did try the Australian Gold, fair shade, but geez, I looked like an orange! I do love Target, though! I ordered the Neutrogena Mineral (not the purescreen) and awaiting for it to arrive to try it.
Maybe the Welly products are also great for motivation. Those bottles have a better figure than I do 🤪😅

I’m a fan of the Australian gold sunscreen. I make a compound of that, hero mineral sunscreen and Eucerin sunscreen. Mix it together and cover my face with it. Doesn’t sting or burn. Doesn’t dry the skin on my face . My Derm doctor laughs , calls me a compound pharmacist.

I am so informed and educated about the care of not only my skin but my grandkids also! They are 13 and 11 and know the importance of wearing sunscreen. Half hour before we leave the house we slather on the sunscreen yer round! We love Coppertone and Neutrogena and Target is where we shop.✨🥰✨

The only thing you can do with spf 4 and lemon is put it on your hair to give it sun highlights 😊
Good afternoon Dr. Dray!! I have been using Adapalene for quite some time, every night as my retinol. I am wanting to switch to tretinoin soon. Should I still start with .05%, or can I immediately jump to .1%?
If you check her retinol playlist, she's talked about this in some of those videos. There's an older video called, why I stopped using differin, that might help.

I tried Curology and the only thing I liked was the micellar makeup remover. It was a little more gel-like the liquid. To me, it rinses cleaner than balms do.

I was just at Walmart yesterday and saw a new product from Panoxyl! A mineral sunscreen!?!? The box said new sheer formula. Can you review it please??? My face is so picky when it comes to sunscreens. It currently doesn’t mind the green tinted one from Hero and the peachy one from Versed. Thank you!!!
I got a sample of the moisturizer & the cleanser with my first Curology Rx box (I just started tret) and the moisturizer was fine but I already have my favorites but the cleanser is actually really nice.
That Vaseline handcare is much thicker than their lotions. I always have a tube of that on my nightstand and put it on every night. Thick but nongreasy and much different than their lotions. I tried the Vaseline skin relief and it was super thin and did nothing for my skin. That Coppertone spf for the face is great. My daughter uses it and I do on occasion. Its the only one that doesnt breakout or irritate her face.

I’ve always enjoyed Curology products. The gel moisturizer is a touch pricey but it’s probably my favorite gel moisturizer I’ve tried. They also have a mineral sunscreen that I’ve been liking.
