A lot of disabled people like me use dry shampoo to balance our fatigue vs appearance. On days when I have more physical things things that *must* be done than I have energy for, forgoing a shower and using dry shampoo and a "sink bath" instead can make all the difference. (And yes, I have a shower chair and it doesn't really help me much)

The bliss Clear Genius toner + serum was the best product that has completely changed my skin. I purchased a travel size at Target for $4.00! I was able to get off of my Curology (clendamycin, azeleic Acid and zinc) that I used nightly for over 2 years that failed to help me with tiny chin breakouts and oily skin. I use the Clear Genius once a week at night and not a single pimple in sight and my skin isn't oily anymore.
Your story about only being to bathe with Dove reminded of my childhood! My mom always bought Ivory bar soap ( "99 44/100ths Percent Pure - It Floats!} Rarely did I see any other bar soap at our house!
I used to LOVE LOVE LOVE that clean smell...until I developed an allergy to something in it! My dermatologist at the time (who has since gone on to be a locally famous plastic surgeon) told me it was probably the tallow that was in it! That was when I started reading ingredient lists!
I love that dove hand sanitizer. It’s the only one that doesn’t completely dry out my hands. I buy it everywhere I see it because I don’t want to run out! 💦

I got the serum and apply it at night to my neck and chin area when it’s that time of the month and it really does target acne very well. I have tried their niacinimide serum toner it’s a bit thicker but spreads out like a toner. It’s very good for sensitive skin like mines while still targeting pores and cleaning the skin. I have yet to try the wash as I’m using up my products before buying new ones but I will update if anyone is curious. So far I’m excited since this line is affordable and has done amazing things for me.
I used the Avène compact as a concealer for about a year over a melasma on my forehead. It was brilliant with good coverage. Using that, and the Avène 50 sunscreen together and a brightening serum nightly, the melasma has faded completely. I put the Avène compact cover cream and sunscreen on before I have my first coffee. Thanks for your videos such great information.

People love that Australian Gold sunscreen, but I've never hated a product more!😬 It literally dried my skin so fast (and oxidized to orange in the process) that it felt like a really intense clay mask! OMG I just love these shopping trips and your stream of consciousness talking - and tonight my husband started watching and he loved it too! and he said "Is this Dr. Dray?" and that told me he had been paying attention some of the other times too...
To the Ivory users, dermatologists don't recommend it... for drug store brands, Dove and Lever 2000 are the two they DO, (Dove for drier, Lever for oilier, or glycerin or super-fatted ones.) I spent many an appt in derm's offices, and became an esthetician at a plastic surgeon. Lever 2000 is pretty fragranced though.
The reason for all of the hand sanitizer and hand soaps on the endcap is because when we were first going through COVID it was almost impossible to get either in stock. Walgreens started ordering whatever brands we were able to get. We started getting tons of it in all of the sudden and now most of our stores are overstocked with it all. None of them are basic items that go on our regular shelves, so we decided on an endcap to shelf it on.
I would LOVE a sunscreen from the Aveeno Calm and Restore line. I have and love all the products from that line, that moisturizer is my holy grail day moisturizer.
I use Aveeno positively mineral for sensitive skin spf50 along with the calm and restore line. It's the best for me. Maybe try that? It has the oats and all of Aveeno safe ingredients.
The Cantu leave-in is amazing. And if you have straight to wavy hair, you only need about a pea to dime size, spread between palms of hands, and smoothed in. It's very nice! I have wavy to curly hair (well a couple pieces curl at least LOL), and I consider this product one of my staples; it is in general, a well liked product!
Honestly, at 59, I’ve used many things in my life that had a little fragrance in them & I say unless you know for sure that you are allergic to it, just buy it for the other actives / Ingredients in it you like & try it. The fragrance is usually so far down the list of ingredients anyway, that there’s hardly any in it to matter much & won’t stop the actives from working. It was the same with my Mother. She used a face lotion back in the day, called, Raintree & it had fragrance but worked really well for her. Then later they quit making it. But between using Dove Soap & the lotion, her skin remained soft. So, to me, a little fragrance is a big “ so what”. The dry shampoos just had a recall on some brands due to Benzene being in them as they found it to be Cancer causing. Yes, I grew up having to use Dove Soap because that’s what my Mom preferred. We found It worked well in spite of having a little fragrance. We actually like the original Dove fragrance. made our skin red & they hurt. We had kind of sensitive skin. For a bath wash in Winter, I love using that A La Maison liquid Soap that has Olive & Argan oils in it. I always use body lotion afterwards. My favorite lotion at the moment is the Neutrogena Hydro Boost fragrance free one. It absorbs nicely & really helps the skin remain hydrated.
Dr. Dray I believe the baby wet skin is meant to allow application of the sunscreen onto wet skin so that when a person comes out of the water there is no need to towel dry

Happy Friday!
I love the Australian Gold mineral tinted spf! It’s amazing!
Seeing that cerave tinted sunscreen on a shelf in store 🤤🤤 I could only wish!! I can only get off of Amazon for so much $$
What nail polish did you end up getting?
Dr. Dray I believe the baby wet skin is meant to allow application of the sunscreen onto wet skin so that when a person comes out of the water there is no need to towel dry
