Hi all! I have moved all the download files to my new Forum for technical reasons. When you sign up for a free account, it will reveal a hidden forum called, "Members Only Files & Downloads". You'll find these and a lot more files to download there. lahobbyguy.com/bb/
I signed up for your lahobbyguy forum and it send an error when trying to activate account from email
@@dannymedina5422 I activated it for you Danny. You can sign in now.
😁 I'll bet you just gave a souvenir shop an idea!
So your designs are free for use but not free to sell after making them ?
@@emieldebruijn4804 You may use and sell them! The only things you may not sell is the electronic file itself. Make all you want and sell to your heart's desire Emiel!
I truly appreciate all your work Rich!
Thank you.
My pleasure Josh!
Thank you very much. From Russia with love!
Thank you too!
Thanks, Rich! This will give me a kick start to get a library together. I look forward to uploading files I have done.
Enjoy Ess! I look forward to seeing them! ✔
Just wanted you to know how much I appreciate your site. I am an Army veteran exploring business opportunities in laser engraving and cutting. Please keep up the good work.
John
Awesome John! Thank you!
Thanks Rich for sharing your knowledge and your library's with us especially us newbies that bag of tricks keeps get in bigger.

You are so welcome Rick! Welcome aboard! 👍
Finally someone that speaks slowly and really helps!!! Thank you
And makes a bunch of mistakes along the way! Thanks Robert!
I had just said to my son how we needed some quality clipart and how we should build and categorize libraries and boom! here you are. Thank you for sharing your artwork and talents with those of us who not as serious or skilled. Hey 50 hours a week is pretty serious in my book and should be acknowledged and supported. We will look through your affiliate links to see what's available. Again, thanks for doing this.
So glad to hear that Mark, thank you! Check out my new graphics store as well. I have plenty of free files there too!

Thank you Rich
I really learned a lot regarding Lightburn.
Glad it was helpful Chip!
I just made my first engraving today (just text), but I was no less excited. Wow, an old dog can still learn a new trick or two! I mention this because it was largely because of the generosity and kindness of other users that I was able to get anywhere. Your magnificent contribution to this community is real inspiration to become, not only a current beneficiary, but to hopefully have something to contribute eventually myself one day. Thanks for your gift, and the inspiration!
That is awesome Bryan! Thank you so much for the kind words! Hope to see *you* with a channel in the future!
I watched this last night. Great info. I am new just got my xtool D1pro 10 watt. Will be watching all of you videos.
Welcome aboard Becky!
Awesome that you sharing - I’m been meaning to create a materials library for ages but was too lazy - I have a text files with all my settings, this will give me a kickstart - really appreciate it 👏🏼
That's great to hear Sundesh! I'm glad it's going to help you!
Thanks for the downloads. Looking forward to future videos. 👍
Glad you like them! More on the way Craig!
Awwww! You are just amazing! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and your files!
I hope your subscribers continues to grow as you put out more content. I’m sharing these with our Laser community on Facebook and I hope you realize what a big help you have been with me starting my laser journey :)..I’ll be sure to check out your blog
Thanks so much for sharing! I truly appreciate it! 👍
This tutorial is awesome and very easy to follow along with. I'm amazed at how much more complicated I was making this software until I watched this video. Looking forward to watching some more of your videos.
Awesome! 👍 Thanks for watching Nathan!
Thank you for your hard work and for sharing all this stuff with us, much appreciated!
My pleasure! More to come!
Thanks for your clear tutorials and sharing! Very helpful for a total noob trying to get around this software and the laser!
Glad it was helpful Ellen!
Thanks for putting this out there. I really appreciate it. i 've had my laser less than a year now and am still learning a lot. I like your tips you added in here. And, the free downloaded file is amazing. Thank you for giving back to the community.
Glad to help Tim! We gotta stick together!
As a retired 70 year old I decided to pick up a xtool d1 diode laser and see if I could burn something up! I did with their basic software! CARDBOARD! I kept hearing about Lightburn. Took a look at it and decided that it was way TOO complicated! Then I stumbled onto YOUR UA-cam channel. MAN! What a blessing! I've learned more in two days than I could have learned in two years on my own. Anyone getting started and not watching your channel is MISSING THE BOAT! Thanks so much for doing such a great job.
Wow, thanks so much! 😎
Hi Rich this is a great video and so generous of your time. I look forward to a steep learning curve lol. The laser community in general is so giving, What a great hobby to get into and with people like you willing to share they vast knowledge it means even people like me can be up to a very good level in next to no time. again thanks.
Thank you kindly Barry! The learning curve isn't so bad... you can do it! 👍
Thank you for your effort and time in making the art work and the training videos plus making it available to the subscribers. I got into this hobby in Jan. 2024 and you are a great instructor.
Awesome! 👍 Thanks for so much for watching!
Thank you for all of the content you provide! I am just dipping into the laser world and got my eye on the 3D printing stuff. Hope to learn a lot. And it's great to have a local(ish) person in the field!
That is awesome Tara! Everyone is local(ish) with UA-cam! 😁
Thank you love the tutorials. Very helpful especially for someone just starting out.
Glad you like them Chris!
Outstanding Sir!!! - This was where LightBurn FELL WAY short. You fixed their product!!! Sent you a PP Donation just now. Well deserved.
Thank you Robert! Much appreciated! I added you to the supporter list on my Forum. So it's not actually Lightburn that fell short on the Libraries, it's the laser manufacturers. I have contacted all of the manufacturers I have made libraries for, but so far none have chosen to include them with their software or downloads. They'll wind up coming around eventually.
@@TheLouisianaHobbyGuy I agree with that. I love LightBurn because it combines the CAM with the CAD. I'm surprised that LightBurn has no art though. As for me, I don't have an official laser machine. I added a 20 Watt Diode. To my WorkBee CNC Router that I built. ...It gives me a huge 1280 mm X 866 mm work area (more than enough for a laser).
Thanks for your hard work . Registered on your forum ! Salutes from Huelva (Spain)
Awesome! Welcome aboard! 👍
Hi Rich, many thanks for sharing this awesome work 👍👍👍
My pleasure Walter!
love love love your videos. your voice is fantastic. thank you so much
Thank you so much Jocelyn! And thanks for watching!
Thank you Rich. You sure are making it easier for this old man to learn how to use Lightburn.
Glad to hear that Darrell! 👍
Another great video, Rich. I became a member of the forum a while back. There are some nice files in the members' only files & downloads area.
Thanks David! I think it's the best resource on the Internet for laser enthusiasts!
@@TheLouisianaHobbyGuy it certainly is & is my number 1 stop off for help
Im so happy you explain the tool, and show were they are. For someone trying to learn. Its hard to see what's being clicked on. You know....
Glad to help Jaun!
Thank Your for Your TIME!! I'm Brand New to Laser Engraving/Cutting (just bought My Very First Laser about 2 1/2 weeks ago) Just downloaded LightBurn Trial Version on 11-05-2023 and spent Hours Navigating the different settings and tools. I'm Hooked!! Lots of Trials and Errors but We Learn from Our Mistakes but if You can Learn from Other Individuals Mistakes, Why Not? This is the Long Drawn Out Version of saying THANK YOU!! I Certainly Appreciate Everything You've Done Here and in the Forum (Signed Up Today) Have a Great Day!!! Sincerely, J Q
Love the long, drawn out version! Thanks!
I am a awaiting my laser, comes tomorrow and I cant wait to get started. Love the videos and the files!!!
Welcome to the obsession!! 🤪
@@TheLouisianaHobbyGuy it has already started...there is a major storm here, flash freeze going on right now and I am in my basement setting up my computer and workspace. I have watched hours of your videos and as a former instructor I have to say you are an awesome teacher.
Hi, You are such a generous man, thank you 🙏 😊

Glad to hear that!

Awesome, thank you Randy!
GRAZIE!
Got them but need to update. Great gift to all us watchers. Thanks.
Enjoy Merrill... these are just manufacturer suggestions. You need to tweak them. But they're a good starting point and easier than building them from scratch.
Thank you for sgharing your hard work, it truely appreciated , thanks . Love your videos , thanks from all the from South Africa
My pleasure Vaughan!
Every time I discover new features of lightburn. Some small, some huge and some tiny that save tons of time. Thanks!
Don't you just love it? Nothing beats Lightburn!
New to laser it and really enjoyed and appreciate the personal time you took in sharing these videos. I am very appreciative of the content. Hope to share something soon
Awesome! 👍 Thanks for watching Joel!
Amazing video and amazing person! I'll definitely be signing up for your forum. I have watched a few of your videos and have "watching all of your previous videos" on my to do list, for sure!!!!!
Thanks so much for the comments Mike; truly appreciated!
I've been using lightburn for almost a year, what i learned in this video has me amazed at things I've never even seen in the software. thank you
Thanks for sharing! I'm glad it helped!
Say, I wanted to say thank you for using that colored mouse pointer. It was very easy to follow that pointer on a mostly white page as opposed to what everyone else is doing, a white mouse pointer on a white page. And of course, thanks for all the rest. I've subscribed to your forum.
Great to hear David! Thanks for joining!
That is quite generous of you to share what i know had to take you a lot of time putting together. Thank you again
My pleasure Bob!
Rich. I really dig the channel. You're the Norm Abram of laser-y stuff.

Thanks for sharing. On with the new adventure.
You bet John!
Thank you Rich!! This is the only way I learn is by watching. You are awesome to let the group use all of your artwork!! Thank you again😎😎😎😎🤙🤙🙏🙏
You are so welcome David! I've always been a part of the hobby community, but UA-cam has opened up a whole new world with so many good folks out there! We all share... that's what I love about hobbies! I just today had a fellow woodworker friend drop off 4, 3/4x8" x10' mahogany boards! He hinted about how nice a mahogany picture frame would be... *I know what he's getting for Christmas this year!* 😎
Very helpful! Some folks zip through the steps so fast it's hard to keep up and make sense of it. I will be referring back to your videos often!
Awesome, thank you Donnie!
Awesome video! Thanks for all the great information! Great detail!!
Glad you enjoyed it Justin!
I have watched lots of videos about lightburn with lots of people that do these but this is my favorite. You have a great voice for the demos because most of them I cant understand. You have a really great knowledge of the subject. At 77 years my mind has trouble with most of the videos. Thanks for your patients with us as we learn.
Thank you Mr. Randall for watching! I appreciate the feedback!
thanks again Rich! fantastic videos great pace and clear explanation! I can and will watch everything you've made.
I enjoy learning from you, you're very valuable asset to this community. Trevor
Wow! Thank you so much! I appreciate the comments! 👍
Thanks for the great explanations of how the process works, for someone brand-new to laser cutting your process of what order to cut things clears up a lot. Thank you
Glad it was helpful! If you sign up for my free forum, *I have a LOT* of cut & art libraries available in the members only section for free download! lahobbyguy.com/bb/
Already did. Thank you
