Thanks Tony. This was a very informative session from which I will be able to use this knowledge in the future..
Tom Zorn thank you and I’m really glad you found it useful.
Good job as always Tony
Martin Schaffmeir thank you Martin. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great video Tony.
David Young thank you!
I'd like to say that this was a very well done video. Very informative and to the point. Thanks my dude, you saved me some money! And I'm a new subscriber🇺🇸
Thank you I really appreciate it and I'm glad you found it helpful.
Thanks Tony, I finally got it to work!
Glad to hear it.
Most Videos Don’t Care About Appearance ,I Do ,Nice Job ,Thank You !!!
Thank you. I appreciate it.
Thanks for the hot tip on the crescent wrench I was wondering what kind of fuel hose was that you were using? manufacturers name I was thinking of using the Earl's 350 I was wondering can you use aeroquip fittings on Earl hose thanks and thanks for the video.
alway's great, informative videos, i really like the Shirt Too, A Veteran
Great video. Do have a link for those braid cutters? I've been using a dremel and it makes a mess. Also, any suggestion for expanding that same blue/black hose just enough to get it on a fitting? The oem fitting on the manifold is almost more like a -11an but I really don't want to just up to -12an. I need just a little bit of expansion inside the hose and it should slip on. Thanks.
Yo T- BONE...I've put an fittings using stainless braided lines..but this was my first an fittings with nylon braided PTFE tubing with the fittings with a farrel inside...the type you have is for rubber hose...it's important to point out that although these hoses look similar , they use different types of an fittings...mine went well...👍🏁
I have that style cutter (Husky) and that an fitting wrench from Evil energy...I recommend using a cutoff wheel with PTFE hose and braided (nylon or stainless) line...my cutter crushed the tubing...the Dremel cutoff does a much better job...just remember to clean up your ends well after cutting...
Great vedio bro. Keep them coming
John Erickson thank you, will do.
i wanna see your camaro up and running!! been watching your build and tool reviews great job!! its been 2 years get that SBC in its new home.
megaeverything101 I want to see it up and running already as well lol but some things have came up and haven’t got a lot of work done on it lately but it won’t be long

I understand that there should be a 30 thousands gap between hose end nut and AN side... Also, people should be aware that hose can slip away when tightening. A piece of masking tape just under the nut on the hose will let you know if hose slipped. If it does, you could experience a leak. Good video :-)
Indeed the tape is a big help. Thank you 👍
Great Video !!!! and i see a" Wally" in the background that is autographed by Ron & Don it looks to me, COOL
Thank you and ya I got that one when I was doing my internship on the team. I have 3 other wallys and 11 victory collages and hats from when I was on the team 👍
Found this after I chewed up my steel braided lines. Wish I knew they came in nylon. Steel was a pita and kept fraying
Where did you get the fittings / jaw for the vice? those are nice
AUTOTECH here are the jaws I purchased. amzn.to/2yeQpeG
Great video. Does that cutter work for AN16 hoses? I'm making custom radiator hoses
So I actually ended up hating this cutter. It worked well for like 2 jobs. Then the internals fell apart and ended up not ratcheting anymore. So I would actually look for something else
@@TonyTheTechnician thanks. UA-cam videos show me those huge shears but they're £150. I'd rather just give it to someone with a bandsaw
I have that AN adjustable wrench and AN vice rig to hold the fitting. Braided Steel lines are a bih to cut without using the right cutter or cutoff wheel. Koul Tools makes an awesome install tool especially for braided steel lines. You can get away doing it by hand with the hose you showed. Possibly with steel, but a lot more difficult.
Catloco's Garage ya I have seen other specialty tools that make it really easy to install but a lot of them are pretty expensive. I think I saw them on like a summit video. Thank you for watching and commenting!!!
TonyTheTechnician I don’t think I paid that much for it. Maybe less than $30. I’ll have to show it whenever I get to my toolbox tour.
Catloco's Garage oh nice. Ya this kit I saw was like 100 but I could be thinking of something else
This is the one I bought a while back. I was right on the price. www.amazon.com/Koul-Tool-Hose-Socket-Capsule/dp/B00TIUTHAC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1509714106&sr=8-1&keywords=koul+tool&dpID=41VHgE5gi%252BL&preST=_SX300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch
Catloco's Garage oh nice ya that’s what I saw except the kit I saw came with like 3 or 4 pieces. That’s a really good price.
Hello. I’ve tried several times to install the fittings, but it constantly backs off. Any tips?
Then instead of keepinf the hose a little ways out go ahead and push it all the way in and try to butt the other end of the fitting up against something
Well I would like to see you put this on with my nylon an10 hose I butchered my fingers just getting one fitting on and frayed the hell outta
the nylon to boot cleaned up the frayed nylon with a small torch so it looks somewhat acceptable. But NO WAY is this that easy its a very tight fit.I bought a koul tool and hope it works when it arrives it should work but doing this by hand is a crap shoot at best.
Lol it's definitely not something I would want to do by hand all the time but it's good it's tight. You don't want to run into any leaking issues. But once you get the hang of it, it's not to bad. Hope you get it figured out
Tony do you ever use your tools?
Jon Baz lmao nope this time I actually installed the fuel line with nothing but my bare hands 😂😂😂 impressive I know.
Can I share some scenes in your video?
Interesting, don't see you mention the type of line in either of your videos :) Lots of tools listed, but not the actual components of these 2 fuel line videos :)
It's listed in my newer videos. This is an older video
I need to get some i hate the hard line on my truck
thetrianshed ya I think eventually I’ll replace all of the lines in mine as well
SaEEEEEEEEEEE, don't worry puberty gets us all.
DOYLECLEVERLOBE1 lmao 😂😂 I must be a really late bloomer 😂
Sorry, I'm not seeing those two tools linked in the tools list.
