Before I watch this, the best character development from beginning to end for me goes to Theon and Sansa. Theons end hit me surprisingly hard and Sansa is the only person to play the Game, learn her lessons along the way and actually win with the full support of her people. Arya too but there was a lot of wasted potential along the way with her story.
Barristan was the one who found the info that got Ser Jorah exiled, which started the chain of events that got Tyrion captured by Jorah and ultimately brought to the pits and in front of Dany. Granted he was headed there anyway but who knows how that interaction would have gone if they just showed up on her doorstep. Who knows if they even make it at all, Varys didn't show up till far later. Not to mention. Jorah being in the pit let him spot and throw the spear at the sons of the harpy assassin sneaking onto Dany, without him there she probably dies, all thanks to Barristan.
dany, jon, and arya are my main trio as well 🔥 sad i didnt get a proper interaction with dany & arya especially since book arya respected targaryen women, their dragons & swords
I don't know why people say Joffrey's actor stopped acting. I guess someone liked the idea that p!ayingb such a piece of shit would be traumatic. If that was the case, the guy who played Ramsey would never act again 😆 I saw Jack Gleeson, Joffrey"s portrayer, in a play in NYC after his run on GoT. A totally different and weird part, it was cool to see him make me forget he was Jeffrey while the play was unfolding. Talked to him after as well - really nice guy.
Yeah I mean Jon arguably is the only one who qualifies as the "main character" Starts as the underdog Secret Parents Works his way to the top Turns out to be a hidden prince and rightful King The only one ever in existence to have Stark magic and Targaryen magic. In the books hes already a warg like Bran, but that in combination with Dragonriding? Dude is one of a kind Heavily hinted in the books to be the Prince that was Promised as well Dude is so goated. I just wish the show focused a little more on the darker side of Jon that we see in the books. He honestly becomes a very cold ruthless character (its that Targaryen madness slipping in)
Massively respect you saying the bit about hate the charachter not the actor. Followed by placing Tywin, Joffrey, and Cersei high on the list. Boggles my mind that people can't seperate an artist from their art.
Bran gets an F just for ending up as king. Never cared about bran's story I completely forgot about ricon until they pulled him out at the battle of the bastards
Seeing you say Renly had some decent moments proves you need to rewatch it. He has one moment and thats his death. Literally the most insignificant character. Also to talk about characters being written well or badly is a disservice. 1-5 they didnt write at all, its verbatim taken from the books. 6-8 is some of the worst writing in TV.
Jon is the hero archetype. He´s what everyone should strive to be. He´s good, he´s brave, he´s humble. My favorite character is Arya, because she has more charisma, but Jon is the main character for sure. I think Jon ended up where he will be the happiest, living a free simple life. So even if the audience and the people want him to be king (he´d be a great king), I don´t think he´d enjoy ruling. So I think Jon ended up in the perfect place for him.
@@freshlypainted That's not an insult, pycelle had more depth than most game of Thrones characters if you know about his deleted scenes and remember his main scenes.
i dont know how you can put daenerys S after that atrocious ending man im ngl. also saying shes the whole show is horrible cap she was a separated sideplot in S 1-6 and was never at kings landing in any regard
While Ramsay was for more cruel and sadistic than Joffrey, I hated Joffrey a lot more. At least Ramsay is willing to get his hands dirty and is capable of holding his own in a fight, and incredibly skilled at mind games with even the best of warriors like Jon Snow. In spite of how horrible he is, I can't help admire these qualities, which remind me of the Joker. Joffrey on the other hand, was just a whiny bitch, with no real skills who let others do the dirty work for him and then talks a big game. Joffrey was insufferable, while Ramsay is terrifying.
I don't completely agree with some rankings but to everyone their own opinion. Awesome video and i have watched your entire reaction series to GOT. much love and keep making more video's. :D
I love Arya but she is kinda overrated. Sansa has a better character development through out the series. She was weak and she went through a lot of shit. But she learned her mistakes and she didn’t give up. Arya is just a little assassin that becomes stronger.
no she didn’t??? It was nothing about power. She wanted independence for the north. You don’t understand the show or characters clearly… Sansa’s motivation and goals was to make it back home and when she did her new goal to gain independence for the north. Jon chose to bend the knee to Daenerys, which was DUMB. Just like Ned and Robb making stupid mistakes
Idk if her motivations were driven by power, rather than seeking independence for her home which is encouraged by the fact by when Jon left the North in her hands, she was still a verty capable leader. Like if anything , Dany was more driven for power rather than Sansa
@@cjoseph369 yep exactly. Sansa had power either way. She was the lady of Winterfell and Jon began taking her advice seriously as he should. She didn’t need the title of Queen. She just fought for independence cause that’s what the North wanted & needed.
@@iris-xo - lol, she got independence by asking her brother. Most moronic storyline ever. The North were not innocent and destroyed the South. Because I couldn't give two sh*** about Sansa I don't know anything about the show nor any of the characters despite reading the books years before the show came out and being a big fan of book Sansa? Get over yourself.
people have such double standards when it comes to dany and idk why, they say they hate her bc she’s “entitled” or “evil” but then they go and say their favorite character is cersei. either way, dany is definitely one of my favs
No. Tyrions writing didn't get bad after killing Tywin. And Sansa didn't get bad either. She went from this pathetic spoiled brat, to this smart, cunning kinder version of Cersei. She had great character development. Also fun fact, Bronn and Robb weren't that good characters in the books. We barely spent time with them. They are much better in the TV show than the books.
S1-S5 Jon Snow and S6-8 Jon Snow are two completely different characters imo. S1-S5 Jon is top tier, s6-s8 Jon is garbage. He learnt nothing, would have died again multiple times if not for the actions of others, failed at every thing he did but still, somehow, managed to come out on top. He also became such a passive character by the end of the show!
Sansa in the grand scheme didn't do anything wrong to dany. It wasn't just her , it was the entire North who didn't want to be ruled by anyone not from the north. Between Neds father and brother being killed in kings landing via wildfire , the " kidnapping " of Leanna Stark" ned neing killed , Rob being killed , Catelyn being killed, home being seized ... I think it's only understandable why the North no longer wanted to be ruled . Sansa was the personification of the north being tired of the political land scape and wars of westeros. The only reason winterfell joined the 7 kingdoms was because the were strong armed by Aegon the Conqurer.
22:37 and it’s a shame because I totally agree. Kinda like Barriston; very under utilized in the show where their book counterpart had a lot more going for them.
Do yourself a favor & read those books! Jon IS the song of ice & fire. They will end differently than the show. 100% guaranteed. And I hope that the new Jon Snow based show with GRRM advising is happening. The books could definitely be pulled into the show & Jon's story has scarcely begun.
Not going to lie I would love to see you do a tier list for some movie series after you finish up with them like honestly I don't recall if and when you watch The hunger games but I kind of feel like I want to see you rank some of the major characters in that series mostly because I want to hear you talk about some of the characters that are very important to the series who I don't want to say anything about here because if you haven't already seen it I don't want to do anything away but I feel like you've seen it I think I've watched reactions of you watch it I need to go back and actually check your channel and see if you have I don't recall if you have or not but if you haven't you need to cuz some things you said about certain characters here I feel like there's a character in hunger games that I felt very similarly about and his name is finnick odair when we first meet him I'm like what an ass this guy is so sleazy such a pain in the butt I don't like him and then as you learn to trust him and eventually you learn to really like him and there's a lot of compassion there once you find out what he's been through and then you finally see him have a little bit of happiness but they can't give us a damn happy ending just not allowed (i checked & you watched last year, imma go watch you watch them now i just reread the books)
Dany always threatened to burn shit down when she felt like her back was against the wall. They just didn't execute it right because dumb and dumber wanted to make other shows and rushed through the last 2 seasons of GoT. But the mad queen theory was around way before season 8 aired. Again, would've been an amazing development if executed properly. Instead we got a rushed mess. No disrespect to the actors or the team as a whole though. Everyone involved did phenomenal jobs on the last two seasons, except the two people running the show.
Yeah. Jon should have killed the Night King and Arya should have killed Cercei. All she had to do was steal Jaime's face and she could have got Cercei. And then the Hound would be able to save her from the Mountain! Don't get why they never utilized her abilities since killing off the Freys. What a waste.

You should react to the "Alt Shift X" video of "The Prince who was promised". It's really good and puts into prospective stuff for the show.
Theon in s tier, lovely, his arc was the best thing about the later seasons, i hated how he died, but the journey their was great
Who are the most skilled fighters in Game of Thrones?
dany, jon, and arya are my main trio as well 🔥 sad i didnt get a proper interaction with dany & arya especially since book arya respected targaryen women, their dragons & swords
I don't know why people say Joffrey's actor stopped acting. I guess someone liked the idea that p!ayingb such a piece of shit would be traumatic. If that was the case, the guy who played Ramsey would never act again 😆
I saw Jack Gleeson, Joffrey"s portrayer, in a play in NYC after his run on GoT. A totally different and weird part, it was cool to see him make me forget he was Jeffrey while the play was unfolding. Talked to him after as well - really nice guy.
I hate that you can't edit autocorrect s that change it to Jeffrey 🙄
Yeah I mean Jon arguably is the only one who qualifies as the "main character"
Starts as the underdog
Secret Parents
Works his way to the top
Turns out to be a hidden prince and rightful King
The only one ever in existence to have Stark magic and Targaryen magic. In the books hes already a warg like Bran, but that in combination with Dragonriding? Dude is one of a kind
Heavily hinted in the books to be the Prince that was Promised as well
Dude is so goated. I just wish the show focused a little more on the darker side of Jon that we see in the books. He honestly becomes a very cold ruthless character (its that Targaryen madness slipping in)
Ygritte was the best character in the show for me. The disrespect
I have had the same 3 characters and I've seen the show twice now. Jorah Mormont, Davis Seaworth, and Berric Dondarion
My Top 5 characters are:
1. Jon
2. Tyrion
3. Jaime
4. Tywin
5. Arya
Bronn 1
You simply can’t have Theon S tier and then Tyrion A tier, along side Sansa no less, I’m glad you came to your senses haha
But like in which way is Tyrion Better huh
Tyrion becomes shit season 4 afterwards, Theon becomes even better season 1 afterwards.
No offence but this may be the single most diabolical tier list known to mankind
Props for tiering out the characters. I wouldn't have been able to remember all of them. It's like War and Peace.
Its not like im mad that ARYA killed the nightking im mad that Jon DIDNT kill him
Massively respect you saying the bit about hate the charachter not the actor. Followed by placing Tywin, Joffrey, and Cersei high on the list. Boggles my mind that people can't seperate an artist from their art.
jon, dany and arya in any order for top 3 is always the right answer
Ser alliser sucked but when he went "CASTLE BLACK WILL STAND" you knew that mofo was a leader.
Bran gets an F just for ending up as king. Never cared about bran's story
I completely forgot about ricon until they pulled him out at the battle of the bastards
Tyrian doesn't have enough witty dialogue to make it to "S" tier....2 spots away Hodor..
So I think Jon ended up in the perfect place for him.
he’s boring honestly. pycelle had more depth than him.
Honestly her storyline was kinda boring compared to everyone elses except maybe brans. Didnt get warm with her since the beginning.
I loved stannis. Really complex and tragic. His death was a departure from the books but still i found it fitting for what he was in the show
I would replace Baelish and Tyrion with the hound and Theon but awesome list fr
The hound at S tier is cringe. He's a side character.
Cersei, Melisandre and Ramsay are S+ characters. I would say that Ramsay and Joffrey are the only characters in the show with perfect arcs.
The reason why women love Bodric was said in the books. It's because he can sing well and has a beautiful voice.
Can't find Walder frey
Stannis in C tier? ???? ???
I don't believe in GoT season 7 and 8
So in my rankings, S tier is Daenerys, Jon and Tyrion.
Daenerys belongs to S at first place, just for being more complex than Jon and Arya, she’s a grey character and not just white
I don't completely agree with some rankings but to everyone their own opinion. Awesome video and i have watched your entire reaction series to GOT. much love and keep making more video's. :D
Thanks!
Where would you put Ed and the mountain 🤔
Mountain c
I love Arya but she is kinda overrated. Sansa has a better character development through out the series. She was weak and she went through a lot of shit. But she learned her mistakes and she didn’t give up. Arya is just a little assassin that becomes stronger.
I really don't like Sansa. She wanted power in the end hence why she didn't think twice about outing Jon despite swearing not too.
no she didn’t???
@@iris-xo people have their own opinions. Just because you don't like a person's opinion. You cry and respond .it just a tv show .Move on .
Watch Penny Dreadful
Seriously bro the wolf pups had more impact on the show than rickon!
you should watch the history of Westeros
Tywin is easilyyyyyyyy S tier
Tywin for S
you should do a playthrough of the telltale games (creator of the walking dead games) Game of Thrones if you haven’t
Arya was all over the place and Tyrion was butchered
My guy put a simpleton who says one word over Tywin Lannister
57:02 you absolutely kill me, you’re literally so naturally funny 😂
people have such double standards when it comes to dany and idk why, they say they hate her bc she’s “entitled” or “evil” but then they go and say their favorite character is cersei. either way, dany is definitely one of my favs
Tyrion good dumber after season 4
S1-S5 Jon Snow and S6-8 Jon Snow are two completely different characters imo.
S1-S5 Jon is top tier, s6-s8 Jon is garbage.
He learnt nothing, would have died again multiple times if not for the actions of others, failed at every thing he did but still, somehow, managed to come out on top. He also became such a passive character by the end of the show!
season 8 ruined every character but overall:
1 jon snow
2 jaime lannister
3 ned stark
4 tywin lannister
5 robb stark
6 the hound
Did you just say you understand why someone committed genocide? Like the vids though.
Are you talking about Daenerys ? Lol
@@ItsAPrimatee Ye
Wasn’t genocide lol what
@@ItsAPrimatee Sorry not genocide, I meant mass murder.
Well it was a massacer of a concentrated amount of people from the same ethnic region so it might as well have been.
I fw your list.
I already know before watching that you're going to have Sansa wrong 😂
Okay you did better than I thought 😆
Jagan Hagar in C wtf
_Benioff & Weiss_ for top villains.
aria ain’t #2. Easy B tier.
22:37 and it’s a shame because I totally agree. Kinda like Barriston; very under utilized in the show where their book counterpart had a lot more going for them.
Looking forward for your reaction to House of the dragon trailer
Please watch sicario
Wtf 😂 ollena in b are you kidding me she is 100% S ❤
tommen higher than catelyn stannis and melisandre wtf
Where my boy the mountain
ok...not insta slamming Bran at the bottom of the F tier is god damn criminal...
Do yourself a favor & read those books! Jon IS the song of ice & fire. They will end differently than the show. 100% guaranteed. And I hope that the new Jon Snow based show with GRRM advising is happening. The books could definitely be pulled into the show & Jon's story has scarcely begun.
Tywin the best I’ll debate y’all on this
Tormund Tywin and lady ollena are the best I’ll debate y’all
Awesome 👏
Melisandre was mad important - I didn't like her AT ALL, but you can't deny her impact on the war of 5 kings, Jon Snow, Daenerys, etc.
Everyone involved did phenomenal jobs on the last two seasons, except the two people running the show.
nah
I agree with you Jon is the best and my favourite character just didn't like how he got treated in the last season
Pretty good list some really weird choices for me but I guess that's the point. Where the fuck is Walder Frey?
My top 3 characters are Jon, Jamie and Arya!
Yeah. Jon should have killed the Night King and Arya should have killed Cercei. All she had to do was steal Jaime's face and she could have got Cercei. And then the Hound would be able to save her from the Mountain! Don't get why they never utilized her abilities since killing off the Freys. What a waste.
maybe it's just me, but I really can't like Theon
10:29 😂😂😂
