  • An estimated 55 million people are affected by drought annually, with climate change making these dry periods more extreme, unpredictable, and frequent. This leads to devastating impacts on people, animals, and ecosystems, and heightens risks like food insecurity.
    In recognition of the World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought, we’re inviting a group of experts for a live conversation on droughts, their impacts and innovative solutions in Africa.
