What a surprise! This is right up my alley. I have been making this stew for many decades. I am from eastern european heritage and this is nearly exactly how I do it. Maybe a little less wine, a little less tomato paste, but that's it. Do you all do Christmas? I noticed the decorations on your counter. Take care. :)
Hi Derr. Yes Christmas is quite big in Singapore but probably not as elaborate as Eastern Europe. We do hope to spend Christmas in one of the European countries one day. It’ll be an experience!

Wow this looks very British to me, something similar to what my wife would cook in a slow cooker 👍

Greetings from Atlanta GA 😊
can this receipe be used for oxtail stew?

amazing ))
Thank you so much!!
Amazing
Amazing❤❤
Is there anything to replace the wine?
I use a similar recipe for pot roast. The red wine makes a big difference. It does something to the beef that nothing else can do.
So Yummy❤
Can you mix beef chuck and ox tails in this recipe? If so, the cooking time and the steps remain the same? Thank you.
Yes, you can. Cooking time can be the same but if you want a more tender oxtail, extend the cooking time by another 10mins.
Favourite❤😊😊😊
Verry Good job
Chef what’s the name of red wine you using?
I ❤ beef stew.
If it's Chef Roland's favorite, it is a keeper!

Morning Chef Roland, may I know how do I cook this without a pressure cooker?
The information is around 7:10 in the video :)

Can replace beef with pork? If yes, what cut should be used?
Pork shoulder. It is in the same area as a cow’s beef chuck. It’s also called Boston butt in the US.
Iam Indonesia❤
Could i omit the tomato paste? I tend to dislike the tomato flavour.
Add tomatoes and cabbage and you have HK borsht ))
i did twice and the instant pot kept showing burned food. so i changed to stove :(
