Perth Airport Evening Plane Spotting with LIVE COMMENTARY! [300,000 view/1700 Subscriber Special]

- Join me for a very special 300,000 view and 1700 subscriber special with my first ever commentated Perth Airport Plane spotting special! Filmed over Easter 2024 over the course of around 2 hours between 5pm and 7pm and on the second last day of extending opening hours to 7pm at Perth Airport's magnificent provided a rare chance to experience plane spotting from the deck truly after dark with all the usual magnificent golden hour plane spotting beforehand on Runway 21 and Runway 24!
FYI Perth Airport (YPPH/PER) is Australia's 4th busiest airport servicing an extensive network of flights across Australia and a wide range of international destinations. Perth Airport also plays a critical role in Australia's booming mining industry serving as a major hub for Fly in-Fly out (FIFO) operations to mine sites in Australia's Pilbara region and elsewhere.

It’s a great place isn’t it! I would think the good views will be much more limited now temporarily that daytime runway works are happening between 7-30am and 5-30pm though!

Enjoyable visit to a place where I used to work airside many years ago. Interesting to see the different traffic. What I would suggest is to invest in a video tripod which would make the actions shots steadier and better viewing. All the best for your channel.
Thanks for watching mate! Glad it brought back good memories for you! Thanks for your suggestion. I do use a tripod but I seem to find it difficult to use for taking off planes so usually go hand held for takes offs and use the tripod for landings on RNW3 which works perfect. Maybe there are better ones out there more suited to quick moving capturing planes going out though - something to look into for sure!
