Back in the late 80s early 90s there was a takeaway on Dominion road called bilbos remember use get fish chip in a cone paper drizzled with malt vinegar those were the days
Nice video for this kiwi that lives abroad! I miss back home fish n chips! I'm not from Auckland though so I would tend to think they're not as good as where I'm from but great video all the same - cheers!
The last fish and chip shop you went to looked like they gave you shark instead of snapper. By the way the snapper may of been dry because it was bigger and older then the rest.
Fishsmith isnt average these days but it was the first ever fish n chips i had in the late 90s and back then it was just a typical chip shop with the fish chart on the wall etc etc
A Childhood favourite of mine that I miss so much. Unfortunately the taste and texture is not the same here in Sydney Australia. Guess I gotta come home to New Zealand to have a dose of real Fish ‘n’ Chips.
If all you people are so impressed by this,go to a restaurant where they do fish and chips ...what people generally want is value for money ..the average kiwi would scoff at paying $12 or above for one fish and chips....all you fish and chip shops that offer under $10 for one fish and chips...post it please...this isn't giving you the best value fish and chips
Some of the places didn't have indoor seating or we just didn't have a choice but to sit outside but will defs try to eliminate that next time!!! I'd be annoyed too if I were you :') Thanks for watching though!
