Try the weather stilling from Lowe’s. It has a flap that covers the gap. No extra trimming.
Hey girlie!! I wanted to jump through the screen and help you lol. I also felt the same with the weather stripping. I didn’t take the doors off either and I used a similar one but I didn’t have to trim it. I got it from Lowe’s. It made a huge difference. The seedlings look amazing! I usually listen to other Planty channels in any free time. Always absorbing some kind of Planty knowledge. I finally got a Pali yesterday! Anddd a papillilaminum. Like whaaaat!!! I only went only for the Pali and found the papi. I am lucky to live close to Ecuagenera. I wish you the best week! Ps. Take a day off!! 😊

If you close the left door first then flap should tuck behind also creating the seal and then the door won’t pop open together. That’s how the other one I mentioned goes. So maybe if you decide to do the top and bottom try the Lowe’s one. 💚

That stripping DID NOT work for me. I used clear caulk instead. Good luck! I absolutely love your billi plant! I have mine (baby) on a pole. Does it need a pole🤷🏼♀️💚
Ooo that's a great idea to keep in my back pocket! I just hope the weather stripping stays on for a solid months 🤞🏼 I love a baby Billie! I'm not sure if they 'need' a pole but it for sure wouldn't hurt! It could probably keep the plant from getting too crazy (like mine lol)
Sooooooo, I might have went through 3 packs of weather stripping before I figured it out…🫣 I kept trying to put it on the cabinet and not the doors. 🫢😢😅😂
Here’s how I used that stuff, put it on the left door (when looking at cabinet) then when you close the left door then the right it lays perfectly behind both doors. How can I send you a pic? Since you don’t open the left door It would work perfectly
