These plants are looking lushhh!! That billiatiae is hugeee and such dark leaves. I leave spiders in the cabinet and on my shelves too, I see the spiders get bigger so I assume they are eating some pest from the plants😂😅

How long have you had your obovata? I have one that came with 4 leaves in 2023. It now has 9 leaves. Didn't know if that's typical growth or not. I'd especially love if I could get it to bloom!! 😊🪴 BTW, you're one of my very favorite planty UA-camrs. I've been a follower for some time now. You're super funny and beautiful inside & out. I have stopped shopping online plants usually in October. Majority the online plant stores that i shop on don’t package well doesn’t cover the soil or use insulation and don’t include heat pack. Even have heat pack is already cold on arrival. So didn’t bother with Black Friday sale in November.

I had the same opinions of the regular whipple way vs the variegated. I love love love the variegated version! You should check out the jungle fever(snowdrift) variegated. Its the same type variegation as the whipple and its absolutely beautiful. With both the variegation comes in more pink/yellow and the settles into more green hues as the leaf hardens out.

I live in Florida and still don’t import in winter. Why in Colorado 😣? This is painful to watch. Good luck with your imports, but I suggest doing during warmer months (spring or fall) for less stress and better acclimation success. It may be the opposite season where these plants are coming from so winter/summer is more drastic. They are beautiful! 😊

I just got a whipple Way yesterday. It looks to me like the leaf comes in pinky turns lime and then green and the leaves have a few speckles. I think they are beautiful.

Yes to privacy film!! I used the one way mirror kind that doesn’t change my window at all but makes looking in a mirror., I do catch people checking their hair here and there but better than the freakin creepy creep

Creepy neighbors are the worst. Maybe consider placing a privacy film on the window. Find one that will allow natural light in but block the view. The problem that I have with shelving units is that they're never tall enough as the plant grows or for taller established plants. The revamp looks great.

Monstera Peru. You can't imagine how many times I neglected it and it survived. Best plant. Red Congo and Silver sward are also very tough. Kalanchoe Silver spoon. Few plants that are kinda cool and are also tough. Because tough plants are always better.

Greetings I notice that you were touching your face and hair quite a few times during the unwrapping of this shipment. You were mentioning that there sas a very strong chemical smell coming from the plants and packing material. I am not trying to critique anything you are doing or your choice of vendor I just felt concerned when you also had issues with your nose during the unwrapping process. So although you or I probably wash our hands after we are done. We all touch our faces without thinking but please let all of us (me too), keep our hands from off of our faces especially when touching chemicals known and unknown. Sincerely sent.

Mine is a one leaf 🍃 but she is pushing out a new leaf. Her only leaf is crusty. Regale definitely needs a grow tent or cabinet. Or just higher humidity. I love ❤️ her still. I give her diluted fertilizer with distilled water.
