I only like the rarest of climbing aroids Monstera's, Philo's, Anthurium's, etc. and common plants such as Aglaonema's, Dieffenbachia's and Sansevieria's
The good thing for getting a rare and expensive plants is that you became more attached to them and you really valued them so much more. Well, like everyone that collecting plants, i started out out just during after pandemic where florida beauty was still very expensive in thailand per cutting. I remember purchasing a single leaf cutting of $250 which you can now purchaes a bushy ones around 20-30bucks. Well, i still hv it and its beautfully trailing but also i just bought one a few days ago. Next from my collection that considered to be rare and expensive during that time are thw jenmanii cardboard bowl type variegated even for a smallest seedling, the hookerii variegated (up until now deep red/purple considered to be more expensive). Mid last year i stop collecting philos & monsteras as they are really taking spaces, so i decided to collection anthoriums instead.
I'm not personally a fan of rare plants. They're usually more expensive and/or require the care that I don't really want to give. I like the easy going care free plants, kinda like my personality 😉🥰
I love the glass jewelry box! I’ll be on the hunt for one! That was so cute! Also the turkey baster is genius! I’m notorious for over filling saucers! Your doggies are so cute!
I recently found Plant Envy closed their doors last year, I didn't know, I've never been there nor have I been to Houseplant Galore, I'll make the adventure out there someday. I go to Sunnyside Nursery, my local Co-Op and a plant store in my neighborhood Savvy Gardens in Arlington. Do you know of any other shops north of Everett by any chance?
As far as plants go, I am at a point where I only want to add plants that I truly love to look at & care for. Doesn’t have to be rare. At the moment anthurium are like top tier for me. However, I don’t care about the genes and all that. There are some that are really rare and coveted that I don’t like the look of. You know what I mean? Hope that makes sense!
I was already in love with your dogs, but this video made me fall in extra love.^^ Thanks for the video!
your doggies are precious!
I love how you talk to them so sweetly. 💕🥰
Dogs are people too!

I totally agree! While I do love me some rare plants, I totally appreciate the easy that most common plants come with!

I found that at a thrift store years ago and I love it! Happy hunting!
Yes I do use a turkey baster for the same purpose as a matter of fact 😂

I don't! I don't venture out of my small area much lol
Are you going to the Flower & Garden Festival? I just got my ticket today, I plan to go on the last day.
