Have faith in JESUS CHRIST as LORD and SAVIOR for HE SAVES from hell❗️
      *What is the Gospel?*
The true gospel is the good news that God saves sinners. Man is by nature sinful and separated from God with no hope of remedying that situation. But God, by His power, provided the means of man’s redemption in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Savior, Jesus Christ.
      Ephesians 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of GOD, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
      Romans 10:9
9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
      JESUS CHRIST can come anytime!
Just Believe ❤️ Love you and GOD BLESS

These really remind me of the oliebollen (oil balls?) we eat in the Netherlands during New Year's. Because those are ball-shaped, they turn them selves around in the frying pan.

I LOVE sufganiyot. Criminally underappreciated Ḥanukah food! (Also called pontshkes in the original Yiddish.) Also people should know about sfenj, the Moroccan Jewish Ḥanukah doughnut!
I have made these without a stand mixer, but it sure would have made it easier.

You mean Polish Pączki? Our cultures are bound really tight.

    • @oaktree__
      @oaktree__ 2 роки тому +1

@@jamrozikkuba Nope, I actually meant what I said, believe it or not! Though obviously the two words are related :)
I just don't like the implication that pontshkes are "actually" pączki, which I do hear sometimes from people - the idea that there is no real Jewish food, and we're just "stealing" or "borrowing" from the people around us... it's unkind and unfair. I am sure you didn't mean it like that, but it might be something for your to be aware of. But yes, you're right, our cultures are bound tightly. My great-grandfather was from Warsaw (Varshe, in Yiddish), and while unfortunately I have no family left in Europe because of the Holocaust, I do often think of going to Poland to see what it's like. I have this dream of finding his house in Warsaw, but no one in my family knows what the address was anymore. It was probably stolen or they were forced to sell it at some point anyway... But I do hope to visit someday.

@@oaktree__ There is lots of Jewish dishes in Poland. Bagels, challah bread or matza you can buy in here every bakery. But Pączki are specially polish and we have even holiday dedicated to them.

I'm pretty sure they are not related to a polish food, because it's eaten not just by polish jews. Moroccan, Syrian, Iranian, Iraqi etc, all of these had their own version. It's possible that polish jews called it by a similar name, but unlikly that it's stems from the same tradition.

So many places make donuts too sweet. My favorite shop makes one that's filled with raspberry jelly and a super light, fluffy, barely sweet type of cream and it balances out so nicely. Its a 30 minute drive that I make at least once a month because I crave them.

We do something very similar here, bus instead of making a hole and filling it up, we cut it in half letting only a small part connected and fill it with cream or any kind of sweet thing we can do XD. The entire thing is exactly the same even the sugar on it. Looks tasty Claire! :D
