It's so sad that the incredible sense of hope this song had, the wall coming down and all, and now we're back in a situation where that hope and relief feels like a distant dream. The band is aware of it too, and use different lyrics these days.

I was there when the Berlin wall fell and ended the cold war and now we are falling right back into it. Breaks my heart.
This was the anthem for that day by the way.

Much of the world has completely forgotten the lesson of 1989 and let the moment slip completely away. I was stationed there at the time and I remember the hope and the joy and I have to wonder how we dropped the ball...

This is a song that has aged well. The video really adds to the overall hope, with a hint of sadness and nostalgia.
    Absolute legends.

There was so much hope back then, for a short time we thought everything could change. Berlin was magical during this time, crazy and open and full of energy. I wish our hopes had been confirmed. Unfortunately, we have to keep trying with hope. Peace and Love from Germany

Was 14 when the Wall came down. I'm just a kid from England, still remember the coverage of it all. This song always gives me chills

As someone who went through the whole process of Soviet Union collapsing and my country regaining its independence after that, I cannot find the words to describe the impact of the song on our society. I so believe it to be one of the most emotionally powerful aongs of all times, though the current events leave it with a strange aftertaste...

Amazing song. ❤️. I love the Scorpions. Send Me An Angel, Still Loving You, The Zoo, No One Like You, Big City Nights, Rhythm Of Love. They are on tour now. Toronto Canada on August 21, September 1 in Chicago. I've only seen them once before years ago but an amazing concert ❤️

This is one of the many great "Power (Monster)" Ballads of the time! I would love for you to check out so many more. In the 80's all the rock and hair bands put out a lot of them and they usually immediately went to the top of the charts. Great reaction Anton!

Another masterpiece that is in my top 100 best songs ever created. You should definitely react to more Scorpions, they are SO amazing! They have at least two other songs that people often put in the 100 best songs! I would recommend No One Like You,Rock You Like a Hurricane, and Still Loving You. But this is easily their best song if you ask me 👌

    My favorite rock band ever.
They never sold out even in the '90s when everything became glam they didn't do that shit.
They have some of the best rock songs I've ever heard not heavy metal but definitely metal.
Rock you like a hurricane is one of the best songs ever written!

*"Take me to the magic of the moment
    On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow share their dreams
    With you and me
Take me to the magic of the moment
    On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow dream away
    in the wind of change."*
Feel like he's asking to be brought to a time where everybody can just sit down and talk and dream without other people butting in and telling them that it's nonsense or being offended... Keep hoping, Klaus, we're still not there yet..

Great song. My personal favorite Scorpion song is “We’ll burn the sky”. The song hits hard for anybody who has lost a loved one. The music is great, especially electric lead Uli Roth’s wizardry. A young Klause Meine belting from the soul.Recommend live version from the album Tokyo Tapes.

I am very grateful to have experienced this time as a young man. The fall of the Berlin Wall, the freedom of nations in Europe. A moment of hope for peace. Unfortunately it didn't come true

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.
The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that, in glory and triumph, they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of this pixel on the scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner, how frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds. Carl Sagan.

A really good song. Really struck a chord with the fall of the Soviet Union and Berlin Wall. You already reacted to my favourite from this album (Send Me An Angel). As for the Matrix, if I remember correctly Agent Smith said humans were a virus. Not cancer.
EDIT: just checked and he said both.
