Twin engines aren't a redundancy "backup" unless they are linked to a central exhaust thruster. This is a spacecraft, not an airplane; the center of thrust needs to be aligned with the center of mass if you want to move the mass instead of making it spin.
The Sabre fits perfectly in to the Aegis lineup. It replaces the aging Gladius and fills the nimble/speedy/stealthy roll that complements the heavy/EW/long ranged Avenger. Throw in the Talli and Aegis has a very nice set of ships. Not to mention the fact Aegis ships are so damn sexy. My 325A is cowering in the corner of my hangar right now knowing that its days are numbered. Unless the Sabre's Q&A goes horribly wrong my 325A (lemon confirmed) is a CCU waiting to happen.
i thought it was like boy to man growth chart ie gladuis was when you were a kid the sabre when you hit mid teens and the vanguard when your a adult in your late 20s. such a good looking ships.
+Timid Gazelle as we are unaware how the sabre and vanguard fly. its all guess work but have to agree as the vanguard will be quite a stiff and slow in my mind as its big, heavy and design for range travel . where the sabre i can see being like a avenger very quick, agile and a headache for most ships. It will definitely be interest to see how it shapes up to other ship currently in ac.
+LemmingOfEvil Actually, Ghost has already lost in terms of being stealth fighter, this ship was made as stealth fighter. That's why it's against Stinger, they are supposed to "sneak" on them and hit hard and retreat, repeat. It's got stealth armor that isn't really tough, so apart from Hornet when your shields are out, you need to get out asap. STLY forgot to mention that it's not a dogfighter but stealth "ninja-like" fighter.
"Compared to the Hornet Ghost the Sabre is built from the ground up to be a dedicated “stealth” ship whereas the Hornet Ghost is retrofitted to become stealthy, therefore whilst the Ghost is still very stealthy compared to other ships it wont be quite as impervious to radar as the Sabre. What little it lacks in stealth capabilities compared to the Sabre though is made up for in its additional armour and weaponry however." -RSI Sabre Q & A
This was a no-brainer for me as I always hated the look and feel of the Super Hornet but since it was the only space-superiority fighter, I had no choice but to keep it in my fleet. This ship was a godsend and the line 'Super Hornet is to Sabre as a brawler is to a ninja' confirmed the sale for me due to personal love and dedication towards the ninja art. Hence I exchanged my Super Hornet for this.
My thought on buying this ship was the LTI - a pure fighter is better insured for life. It's probably running well on scouting ahead of a large haul for your organization (stealth / advanced scanners) and then for protection of such. So, running into an ambush or being shot down in an attack while on guard or convoy protection becomes a minor afterthought if you just hand in an insurance claim afterwards. By no means am I good at fighting, however, if the risk is low and the threat my ship poses counts for something, I might as well fly this instead of my Origin 325A. You simply cannot always be the one that pilots the cargo.
With the changes in the hardpoint architecture, your mentioning changing the fixed guns to gimbaled ones raised a thought for me: Enhancing the straight line firepower by swapping the S3 gimbals for S4 fixed guns.
Sabre is quite an impressive fighter. Looks like it may play more of a tank role. 4 Shield Generators and 3 Power Plants along with 2 TR3 engines. To put in prospective, the super hornet only has one Shield Generator, Power Plant, and one TR4 engine. also one of the concept arts for the Sabre refer to it as a Stealth Fighter so it has that going for it, which is nice.
Brooke down and just bought this since it went on sale about an hour and a half ago. Now I'm rocking the base Freelancer and Sabre. I'm ready for cargo hauling and dog fighting! Bring it on PU!
The only ships I'm collecting in-game are beautiful Aegis ships. It won''t replace the Vanguard as main ship because of the Sabre's short range. The stealth option is nice to have.
To me this ship fits the middle class military fighter that we are currently missing. Hornet is the heavy and Gladius is the light fighter but we had no proper military medium fighters (don't take into account the Avenger because it should not be as powerful as it currently is since it's not military).
Chris said that if the Hornet is a brawler the Sabre is a ninja, it's low sig (supposed to be stealthy), good maneuverability (meant to take on the stinger), and decent firepower (from its stats). no idea if its actually worth it, but I ended up melting a bunch of ships to get the Armada pack so I ended up with all the fighters. Guess I'll stick those in my idris and just pull out whatever one I need for the situation heh. btw, you can CCU ships in a multi ship pack so getting the armada pack gives you a bunch of LTI ships you can CCU into other things if LTI is a big deal to you.
The Sabre is described as "multirole stealth fighter" (8:45), so stealth will play into the gameplay of that fighter. Maybe it's more comparable to the Hornet Ghost. And one other thing to consider is that the Sabre, being larger than the (Super) Hornet, is probably more likely to receive hits - something that could somewhat even out the redundancy and components being evenly spreaded out.
not sure if it was mentioned already but the fact that it has multiple shields and generators only means that it is already designed by the new item standards. We have no direct comparison as the older ships will get reworked to fit those new specs as well. I really hope the hornet gets an overhaul because at least to me it seems one design level below all the new ships. functionality wise (misplaced thrusters, fragile wings/thrusters on a ship that is meant to tank and higher mass even though it has much less material than e.g. a sabre) as well as just from the looks(well this is really subjective I guess but to me it has less detail than gladius and gladiator)..
@STLYoungblood thanks for the reddit link!!! Amazing I've been thinking about purchasing the Sabre all week but didn't want to blow $170 so have purchased the $20 upgrade from the Constellation Taurus :) Didn't understand what you meant in the video but after looking at the link it all became clear! Thanks once again and keep up the good work dude!
hay youngblood i was at the citizencon and was given the chance to chat to the designers at the event. i asked a number of questions and the sabre was included in this. i was told that the sabre will be a designed to be a capable stealther fighter with alot of agility which is ment to challenge the super hornet for superiority . so i think your more or less spot on from what i was told.
+STLYoungblood As for pricing, considering that you get an VFG hangar with the Saber and an Areoview with the SuperHornet I would say that the SuperHornet is the most expencive of the them, in case 1 would base an Power per dollar on the ships :)
STLYoungblock, the 4 shields and 3 generators have nothing to do with redundancy, it's the new system with "Small, Medium, Large, Capital" sizes and multiple modules at once. The Hornet probably will end up with 3 small generators and 1 medium shield generator, with the Sabre ending up with 3 small generators and 4 small shield generators.
I have a Super Hornet and I am really considering to switch to a Sabre. I'm just concerned (TM), because of the missing Jump Engine of the Sabre and the reduced firepower compared to the Super Hornet. I hope they post some Q&A about the Sabre. At least we have some time until the sale ends.
+STLYoungblood. I think the advantage of this ship as a fast brawler is it's height. Low profile. It's signature seems to be quite small, sleek and maybe harder to hit? It also mentions that it's a 'Multirole stealth fighter' that is harder to pick up on radar. I think this is a hit and run style ship, being able to get in close before heavy reactions, doing targeted critical damage and zooming on through. Just no idea how it's going to handle being chased :(
One thing missed during the should you buy is the mention of the lower sig of the Sabre. I feel that may be the final thing to set this ship apart, or better compared to the stealth hornet.
youngblood, I never heard you mention anything about the stealth. The sabre is going to have stealth capabilities which would make it even better as a boom and zoom craft.
Hi STLYoungblood, love your videos, but i tink you miss one important thing it the Sabre, its says "multi role stealth fighter". We dont have alot of info but i tink this ship ill have the IR and EM very low and you can use the speed and diferent tactics to gain the uper hand vs others ships. It might change the gameplay if this ship alot. Keep up the great videos up. Peace XD
the Hornet was designed to be iconic, the Sabre is designed within the rules of the SC universe. i like the covered weapons i hate it when i loose guns during the fight.
I never been a hornet fan and the Sabre just ticks all the boxes for me so it took me all but 1 second to decide that all my 4 hornets where to become Sabres and a few minutes to complete that :) Next up will be upgrading my 325A and Gladius fleets to Sabres, but that is an other smack of cash I do not have atm :)
the sabre reminds me of the f-14, with those folding wings, but also the f-35 (more sleek and more stealthy, but less firepower than some other combat ships *cough* vanguard *cough*)
I don't think you can gimbal the fixed weapons as they are partly inside of the wing. I think it has dual flight modes like the Vanguard and Reliant. Very F-14 Tomcat
+STLYoungblood i think you forgot to mention that it is specified as a STEALTH fighter. Its supposed to be a low signature ship, with multi-role capabilities when it comes to combat, with the exception of bomber as far as i have read and seen.
the current stats say it will have 2 S3 gimbal guns. the two guns further back on the body seem to be set inside the body, so i dont think they will be able to move much. so would it be the two guns on either side of the cockpit? to me they would seem to have the same problem as the wing guns on the LN in that since they are (somewhat) alongside the body, they two would not have great freedom to move about. so is this going to be another case where you are better off just sticking with forward facing fixed guns? Also, ive heard that if you buy a second game package, it can be used as an NPC character to use as a secondary gunner in ships like the super hornet and the cutlass black. is this true? and if so, how is this accomplished?
+shadowsa2b I wondered about the gimbals as well. However, if you have gimbals on the front, you could just make sure you rotate your ship the right way so you shoot "above" from your perspective - which if implemented correctly - would give you the most advantageous G force position and visibility of what will be ahead. You also would be able to fly wider turn and keep your speed - the life line of this ship. However - all that is speculation. We will have to see when it comes out.
Hey Youngblood, thanks for another great overview! By the way I've noticed you tried to use the free look on the holo viewer and look kinda stuck. Just as a friendly heads up, to move around in free mode you can use the wasd keys on your keyboard. Free mode is kina a fps interface like that :). Anyways thanks again for the great video!
If the F7 Hornet is the F-15 and the F8 Lightning is F-22, the Saber is the F-35. New, sleek, with stealth features, but less rugged and with less firepower.
+drksideofthewal Hi5, this analogy is what I give to people when explaining the SC dogfighters to people, they keep yelling how Hornets are akin to F-16 whereas it's the Gladius who fill a similar role. In addition, Sabre will be the F-35A since it's a dedicated dogfighter rather than multi-role.
Not to rain on the parade, because it looks nice, but when are we going to get a fighter that is not Aegis? I thought Anvil was next up for a light fighter. This ship looks like an Aegis, however it is missing the large gimballed weapon under the nose of other Aegis small ships.
So what's the point of the Gladius with a ship like this around and why is the Saber($170) more expensive than a Super Hornet($165)? I like this ship and I want one to go with the rest of my Agis ships, but I think they need to bring down the price a little.
+Thomas Keller I don't think there is currently any ship more agile than the Karthu-Al. It might not be the fastest, but it will definitely be superior to any other fighter craft in dodging. The Sabre might be advertised as agile, but it is so only in comparison to other heavier fighters. The Gladius for example will be both more agile and faster than the Sabre because of it's mass. If you are going for damage avoidance in your dogfights and don't want to fight head on the Karthu sounds like a good choice to me. If you are not confident you can controll all that agility in 3 Dimesions a heavier less nimble fighter like the Sabre would certainly be preferable to the Karthu.
Youngblood, great video. Do you have any suggestions or could you do a video for people who are planning on going it solo what ships you would recommend looking at? If you could that would be great, thanks. :-)
Good point on the single seat. I think its challenging to match it up to a modern day jet fighter. Most modern jets are either multi-role, air superiority, interceptor, or bomber. I cant think of a pure fighter. I lean for for the WWII comparison to the Grumman Hellcat. Fast, smaller than an F4u, P47, P38. It was decently maneuverable and had decent fire power. It was responsible for downing more zeros than any other aircraft in the pacific. Getting back to modern day jets, its a head scratcher, maybe an Sukhoi Su-35
Recommended after 5yr 😂 Sabre is still my favourite fighter, just too sad 3.14 made it useless, along with other medium fighters. Lets hope cig shows it some love to make it great again.
I have a question. I see that the Sabre concept sale comes with the VFG Industrial hangar (aka asteroid hangar). Now, previously when I initially backed the game with a Freelancer DUR package which came with the Aeroview hangar, I got the Selfland Hangar as well. Following that logic, will buying the Sabre give me the Revel&York hangar as well?
hey a noob question, you said that we can earn everything in the game but that does include limeted ships like the super hornet? Sorry I dont know much about this game yet I just got the aurora package haha that's why i'm asking xD
It doesn't look like the sabre won't be a great "yaw' ship because of the thruster placement. Also regarding the gimbals, maybe they will only work on the y axis? Can you equip size 3 fixed guns on the nose guns?
I'm more worried about the forward thrust. Half of the spacecraft in SC don't have their center of thrust symmetrically aligned with their center of mass (due to having aircraft-like hull shapes). This means that they won't be able to move straight without always-on RCS, otherwise they'll keep spinning on themselves.
Well the superhornet as in version 1.2 iare not as strong. also did you try out the gunnerseat of the superhornet in freeflight? Just try to hit anything with it is really hard. Well thats all for it now. again rest good video.
Why does everyone compare single person fighters to the super hornet, they are not similar ships, super hornet can only be compared to the likes of the vanguard, sabre should be compared to the likes of the gladius, M50, 300 series ships.
hey Youngblood I have been seriously considering buying a ship. My budget is anywhere Form $0-$70ish. I kind of want to do a bit of everything, which is what makes this a hard dissision. I will probably be playing solo for around 80% of my time in game. It would be great if you could leave your imput on which ship I should get. Keep up with the awesome content.
its completely ridiculous that these concept sales are still coming out that asks people to play hundreds of dollars for an IDEA. when was the last concept sale to actually be flyable? how about at least be in the hanger?!? (really i want to know) i by all means, i want SC to become what CIG is promising but each month that passes by with no new modules when they are already months behind schedule is starting to damage my confidence in them
+nbaumg Any and all purchases on these concept sales are a matter of investing funds toward finishing the project. I think backers are aware of this. Any investment comes with inherent risk.
if i buy the freelancer dur > sabre upgrade will it still be LTI if i upgrade it after even thoguh i bought the upgrade package before hand and me using the upgrade after the sale is over?
+jhana khor sorry to burst your bubble but you can't upgrade a non lti package to an lti package. the system is made to retain the original rewards and insurance. if you want an lti saber you will have to buy the stand alone ship or ccu a package that already has lti.
STLYoungblood Thanks for the Reply, I was watching a video of flying tips I believe and the video was of a hanger and different ships and I swear I seen a sabre with a bunch of different paint jobs and the last one was Black and Gold but I can't find anything about it or the video, maybe a different fighter? :/
Tommy Ip like the Borg? Yeah why not? I surmount that the design of interplanetary spaceships would be bases on native planet environments earths specifics would require wings but what of a predominately liquid planet or a dense atmospheric planet those designs would be devoid of wings. Imagine space fighters with a specific advantage in there native atmospheres.
Tommy Ip yeah but think of pursuing a non humanoid bounty to their native planet. That gameplay would be awesome. What fun is chasing only humans throughout a galaxy?
I am really confused about this game. Is it possible to buy ships with some kind of in-game currency, or can you only get new ships by spending real money?
+Martin Nielsen Right now, it's only real currency, because the funds are being used to develop the game which is currently in alpha. Starting at release though, and possibly a bit before, they are only able to be purchased with in game currency. You can now get in and rent ships with earned currency, however, you have to at least buy a game package, starting at $40.
Yes... that was a bit vague :-) I meant Aegis Gladius, not Anvil Gladiator. Still got 3 of those too. Since I am very fond of the Gladius Design I held 1 back for myself.
Sorry, I was being pedantic. The correct plural would be either gladii or gladiuses, but I care much less now that I've had a full night's sleep and some coffee. Also I feel bad after you gave such a civil explanation :)
Twin engines aren't a redundancy "backup" unless they are linked to a central exhaust thruster. This is a spacecraft, not an airplane; the center of thrust needs to be aligned with the center of mass if you want to move the mass instead of making it spin.

It's the surprisingly attractive lovechild of an Avenger and a Hornet with a Vanguard grandaddy.
i thought it was like boy to man growth chart ie gladuis was when you were a kid the sabre when you hit mid teens and the vanguard when your a adult in your late 20s. such a good looking ships.
+webbie 1987 Some say their younger years were much better, ie a skilled Sabre pilot could take down a vanguard easily.
The design sheet at 8:40 describes its role as a "multirole stealth fighter", which I find interesting. Maybe the Ghost has some competition now.
+LemmingOfEvil Actually, Ghost has already lost in terms of being stealth fighter, this ship was made as stealth fighter. I love it! It's the Tomcat in space LOL. I could see people playing "Top Gun" while flying this ship.
+Strider K-JIN Would you fly it... to the DANGA ZONE!?!?!
Paul Fries LMAO! GREAT BALLS OF FIRE!!
+Strider K-JIN I feel the need...
Strider K-JIN The Vanguard Warden is the tomcat

Reminds me of the Saber from Halo and looks like a mini vanguard, such a pretty ship.

And one other thing to consider is that the Sabre, being larger than the (Super) Hornet, is probably more likely to receive hits - something that could somewhat even out the redundancy and components being evenly spreaded out.
Now that CIG has introduced atmospheric flight dynamics to the mix, it should be noted the Saber will probably have an edge in that arena
You forgot to mention the Stealth aspects of the ship..it is a Ninja..people who love to use CS missiles will hate fighting this thing.

I want one just because it's so frigging awesome looking. Good, in-depth analysis Youngblood, well done.
Sweet video STL, hoping to see some combat ships next, especially since the Q&A for the Sabre just came out.
I can safely say that while the Sabre is a lot of ship to handle, it's very nice when you replace the two Panthers with S3 gimbles and put on Badgers.
+STLYoungblood. I think the advantage of this ship as a fast brawler is it's height. Low profile. It's signature seems to be quite small, sleek and maybe harder to hit? Buy one! Get the ship with LTI and then CCU into a ship you want and have the LTI applied!
Youngblood, your video description is for the Endeavor, not the Saber.
+Paul Fries thanks Paul, updated the links but forgot that. Its fixed now
One thing missed during the should you buy is the mention of the lower sig of the Sabre. I feel that may be the final thing to set this ship apart, or better compared to the stealth hornet.

+Kamidake83 Yep, doing the same.
+Omricon 1 year later. not realesed.
+Dennis “GoldenObject” Henriksson Looks like it might be slated for the upcoming patch
I picked one up with Lti, might chop it for the vanguard as that's surely got to be a sooner release.
The silhouette reminds me of a Valkyrie from Macross. I want it!
Price wise it's closer to the Super Hornet, but it reminds me more of the Vanguard Warden
I don't think you can gimbal the fixed weapons as they are partly inside of the wing.
I think it has dual flight modes like the Vanguard and Reliant.
Very F-14 Tomcat
im am so thinking at buying one of these... thinking to trade my misc reliant to the Sabre.
What people forget is the visibility and it looks like this one is a winner! I always hate the super hornets view angles
nice one thanks, think you pushed me over the edge, I also have a gladius so think the sabre would be a great upgrade

I'd been expecting this video since i heard of this ship first time. Thanks~
If the F7 Hornet is the F-15 and the F8 Lightning is F-22, the Saber is the F-35. New, sleek, with stealth features, but less rugged and with less firepower.
P.S The Saber is fricking beautiful. I'd buy the ship on looks alone.
Sanjarih Jamshed
Yes, exactly. I can see how people would compare the Hornet to the F-18, but the F-16? Really?
drksideofthewal yeah, exactly
Stoop Gunther
It has less guns, and no size fours. The Saber does have less firepower, though not by much.
Not to rain on the parade, because it looks nice, but when are we going to get a fighter that is not Aegis? I thought Anvil was next up for a light fighter. This ship looks like an Aegis, however it is missing the large gimballed weapon under the nose of other Aegis small ships.
Just wanted to say thank you for the great video.
Looks a lot like the Sabre from Wing Commander
So what's the point of the Gladius with a ship like this around and why is the Saber($170) more expensive than a Super Hornet($165)? I like this ship and I want one to go with the rest of my Agis ships, but I think they need to bring down the price a little.
What about the Karthu-Al?? I got it because it was the ridiculously agile, should I replace it with this? is it better?
Nice vid 'Blood ... but what I needed was a "Should you buy the Armada Combo Pack?" ;-)
Great review. Channel's like you are inspirational.
I want it, but I'm hearing how its even more glass than the Gladius atm, and I've grown attached to my Gladius tbh lol
Youngblood, great video. Do you have any suggestions or could you do a video for people who are planning on going it solo what ships you would recommend looking at? If you could that would be great, thanks. :-)
Is there going to be an interior to it. It seems pretty big to not have any walk around space.
Aegis
Gladius - F-16
Sabre - F-14
Vanguard - F-15
+Zgicc F14 is an interceptor and not very agile. If I was going to compare this to a modern jet, this would be perhaps a F/A-18E/F Super.
+Nacho Libre I kinda considered it but the SuperHornet is a multirole. This ship just seems to be able to do one thing. Also single seat.
+Zgicc how in the world is the vanguard an f15, vanguard would be f14 and sabre f15
It resembles the Vanguard.
Recommended after 5yr 😂
Sabre is still my favourite fighter, just too sad 3.14 made it useless, along with other medium fighters. Lets hope cig shows it some love to make it great again.
Any idea if this ship will be on sale again? didn't really get interested in SC until just recently and instantly fell in love with this ship ;_;
will we be able to have 2 size 3 fixed and 2 size 4 fixed guns on the sabre?
The Sabre looks like a Sci-fi F-22
Do you know if we will be able to be in the UEE military once the full PU releases?
I would push yourself and buy this ship :)
dont really understand the people being critical of the ships with wings...atmospheric flight is a thing, in this game.
or am I missing something?
The F-14 of Star Citizen... I tell you what, I'm falling hard for this ship.
Can confirm. bought the saber and have the revel and york hangar as well.
+Jeremy Simmons aight. thanks!
can you speak on the Forbes article about cloud imperium running out of money and all the crazy shit going on in that article?
hey a noob question, you said that we can earn everything in the game but that does include limeted ships like the super hornet? Sorry I dont know much about this game yet I just got the aurora package haha that's why i'm asking xD
oh ok thanks :D
It doesn't look like the sabre won't be a great "yaw' ship because of the thruster placement.
Also regarding the gimbals, maybe they will only work on the y axis?
Can you equip size 3 fixed guns on the nose guns?
yes you can replace the s3 gimbal with badger by fixed panther
I'm more worried about the forward thrust. Half of the spacecraft in SC don't have their center of thrust symmetrically aligned with their center of mass (due to having aircraft-like hull shapes). This means that they won't be able to move straight without always-on RCS, otherwise they'll keep spinning on themselves.
If nothing else, that is a sexy ship.
Is there any ship like this (1person stealthy decent fighter) only also capable to transport a teeny bit of cargo?
Rubick the Grand Magus I'd suggest one of the Avenger variants
The answer for me was no....I got a Super Hornet instead. Eventually I wanna trade up to a Vanguard.
Well the superhornet as in version 1.2 iare not as strong. also did you try out the gunnerseat of the superhornet in freeflight? Just try to hit anything with it is really hard. Well thats all for it now. again rest good video.
I'm considering swapping a Super Hornet for one..
Choose the 315p! It has range, good sensors, ok weapons, high speed, and even some cargo... It can do almost anything.
Try the avenger, with the modularity you can fulfill most rolls
Thanks sir, great show.....
Is this thing meant to be longer range?
its completely ridiculous that these concept sales are still coming out that asks people to play hundreds of dollars for an IDEA.
when was the last concept sale to actually be flyable? how about at least be in the hanger?!? (really i want to know)
i by all means, i want SC to become what CIG is promising but each month that passes by with no new modules when they are already months behind schedule is starting to damage my confidence in them
+nbaumg Any and all purchases on these concept sales are a matter of investing funds toward finishing the project. I think backers are aware of this. Any investment comes with inherent risk.
What are your thoughs now?
if i buy the freelancer dur > sabre upgrade will it still be LTI if i upgrade it after even thoguh i bought the upgrade package before hand and me using the upgrade after the sale is over?
+jhana khor sorry to burst your bubble but you can't upgrade a non lti package to an lti package. the system is made to retain the original rewards and insurance. if you want an lti saber you will have to buy the stand alone ship or ccu a package that already has lti.
+mattijs moens yes, but you will not get a hangar of the sabre
How do you get the Black and Gold Skin like in one of your other videos?
Can you share what you're referring to? There are two skins for the sabre: default grey sq42 style, and the blue and grey comet camo
By the way, just in case it comes on sale now, your answer is yes. buy it.
Wings in space does not create lift, with that said, is there combat in various planetoids atmosphere?
Will you buy a ship that looks like a box in space?
Tommy Ip like the Borg? Yeah why not? I surmount that the design of interplanetary spaceships would be bases on native planet environments earths specifics would require wings but what of a predominately liquid planet or a dense atmospheric planet those designs would be devoid of wings. Imagine space fighters with a specific advantage in there native atmospheres.
I guess most gamer would want a spaceship that is more stylish than a Borg for what they have paid for...
Tommy Ip yeah but think of pursuing a non humanoid bounty to their native planet. That gameplay would be awesome. What fun is chasing only humans throughout a galaxy?
+Tommy Ip A) A ship without wings doesn't have to look like a box. B) Yes.
See, that's all well and good and all...
But holy FUCK is the Sabre sexy. Rule of Cool man. Hornet simply can't stand up to it here.
+STLYoungblood 40 bones for SC is a STEAL.
you can rent some ships with rec until the game releases then you can use in game currency. you earn rec in Arena Commander.
Just "upgraded" my 3 Gladi to Sabres.
+* Elfwyn * Gladi?
Yes... that was a bit vague :-)
I meant Aegis Gladius, not Anvil Gladiator. Still got 3 of those too. Since I am very fond of the Gladius Design I held 1 back for myself.
Sorry, I was being pedantic. The correct plural would be either gladii or gladiuses, but I care much less now that I've had a full night's sleep and some coffee. Also I feel bad after you gave such a civil explanation :)
np :-)
ima buy
Man she sure is a sharp looking ship aint she.
Meh, slap an airtight cockpit and some exo-atmospheric thrusters on an A-10 warthog, and you'll be fine. In fact, you'll be pretty much unkillable.
