This movie is essentially asking for John Wick but your mom responding “We have John Wick at home.”
No, not even close, stop it. Get some help.
@@jdottdeestv8149stop the cap you know hes right
Jason has been doing Jason before John Wick. Trying to drag John Wick into this is such a stretch.
That scene where the fbi guy tried to tell the scammer son how scary it is to have beekeeper after you I just couldn’t stop thinking about that scene in john wick 1 where viggo tells his son hems fucked
So true, RL LOL 😂😂😂
This felt like Statham went full Seagal with this one, at no point did it feel like his character was in the slightest danger and he should have worn a cape.
You stole my thunder. Seagul. Exactly.
You know your days of being being considered an A-list action star are over when you start to get compared to Steven Seagal out of all people.
Haven't seen the movie but this threat made me sad...
In support of Statham: you're still T.0.P.s' pet cheetah and your faster in the basement than on the street. ❤
Whoever directed this movie probably needs to reevaluate their career, writer as well.
THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT 😁
Every time he said he was just a "beekeeper" while going all John Wick on everything & everyone....
"Oh, you like fires? Lols, you're mama's house burned down, how you like dem fires?!"
Just a cold f**king burn its amazing haha
you are mamas house?
😂😂😂😂💀💀💀💀💀
I think “the last pair of eyes that you’re gonna sneer at” was the perfect way to tell him you’re fucked.
Jason Statham and Josh Hutcherson is the most unexpected duo to come together with this movie
I didn't even know Hutcherson was still working. He dropped off the planet after Future Man.

This movie is a lot more watchable when you stop looking at it as an action movie and see it for the comedy it truly is.
Like 'Get Out' and 'Malignant' as horror vs comedy.
It’s comical how useless guns are in this movie. They said to hell with stormtrooper logic, our baddies won’t even attempt to fire the guns.😂
@@leonardebron6032 I always love how in movies, they always seem to be covered in KY jelly. It's so easy to knock a gun out of someone's hand.
No need to see it as any genre, it's just a terrible but entertaining movie.
Well by definition of choreography (particularly in the “final boss” fight with the Scottish dude) and high volume of weapon usage it qualifies as an action movie regardless, but yes obviously none of us are here to take the movie seriously, and the movie never expects us too either. That’s what makes it stand out from so many other action movies, they tried to take themselves too seriously. This one accepted the fact that it’s ridiculous from the beginning and embraced it in a natural and organic way that genuinely worked on-screen.
So, I put on a free presentation at our local community library for seniors (free of course) to teach them how to recognize scams and look out for red flags.
Even though the rest of this movie sucked, I use the snippets from the overacting scammers and Claire's (Huxtable) interaction as a good way to kick off the presentation and get their attention.
I have to give the movie credit, it does do a good job presenting how one of these scams would work, and is easy to follow which works perfect for helping to inform seniors.
Thanks for helping and taking the time to inform people. I used to work in fraud and had to try and help seniors who had been scammed almost every day.
ya, that was the only good part of this movie.

Fun Fact about all those bee related hexagons in the opening: Bees don’t make hexagons, they only make circles. The hexagon-like pattern is part optical illusion, part science. The shape comes from the fresh wax melting, drying, and shrinking from worker/hive heat. 🐝
So bees make hexagons, check.
Wow, bees are interesting little shits
Experts disagree on whether bees make hexagonal shaped cells. Most believe that they do because they're efficient, strong and hold more honey than other shapes. Other efficient shapes are equilateral triangles and squares. Circles would require bees to use more wax to fill in the gaps which is hard work.

Wait… we were supposed to take this seriously? Then why was I laughing so hard when I saw this in theatres?
No, we weren’t. And at no point did the movie ever make it seem like we were supposed to take it seriously, it wasn’t even taking itself seriously. Therein is the biggest problem with CinemaSins at its core. It refuses to acknowledge anything except petty criticisms and makes a point of never giving due credit for successes in film. No movie is perfect, but that doesn’t mean there’s not a single good thing to say about it. It’s a dishonest review, a dirt cheap knockoff of cinema commentary and critique. They’re not even presenting a fully developed stance or perspective on a movie, simply listing off stupid, irrelevant, contrived, or things deliberately taken out of context that they choose to take issue with. The comedy pulls itself apart.
@@L0ad1ng45 I think his review is meant to be more funny than actual criticism about the movie. I mean the channel is called Cinema Sins, every movie he reviews he's going to have to be critical about it. I loved the Bee Keeper and his review!
I love how you're getting angrier as the movie progressed lol, just a usual Monday for you.
This movie was better than I first thought...
6:44 This is such a good point.
Scammers instantly try to drop any connection to someone who figures out who they are, and if they can't drop them, they shit their pants, drop the whole act, swear more than a sailor (I know this for a fact), and pray to any god they believe in that they aren't actually given up for good.
These people don't take him seriously until they finally realize they might actually die if they don't listen.
Lol, love the Honor Among Thieves reference out of left field.
as a cctv operator for a living I can tell you that no one uses the cloud, unless it's an internal cloud. That explosion could have very well taken out those servers
Before the cloud was a thing companies would store data in two different locations on site and a location off site.
8:02 I love that he sins this despite it being something that's never properly demonstrated!
This was hilarious! This movie is really rediculous! I'm surprised you didn't mention just how many times someone said the word "beekeeper" LOL 🤣
No comment on the 11:24 water leak in the FBI field office ceiling?
My thoughts exactly!
When mom says no. We have John Wick at home
Me: "But, Mom, it's not the same John Wick."
My Mom: "Don't start your sentences with 'but', baby."
And that, girls and boys of all ages, is how moms change the subject.
"Wick" and "Neeson" being casually used as verbs and we all understand 😅
The fact that you went the route of sinning this movie for supposedly teaching potential scammers how to scam instead of removing a sin for showing normal people how these scams work, what to look out for and what mistakes not to make is wild to me.
Perfect example of why this channel is a heap of garbage. There’s no actual commentary, insight, or genuine criticism. Only petty callouts, overcrowded by crude and often inappropriate “jokes.” If you’re someone who actually enjoys watching cinema and absorbing and evaluating it for what it is, don’t waste your time watching this channel, ever. It’s as thin as a sheet of paper, with no depth or semblance of deeper value.
Saying all of this having not watched the video btw, I do follow my own advice. I’m just here to react to the comments, and disappointedly shake my head at the sheeplike fans.
@2:55 this is happening in banks all the time. BMO in Canada just let's tens of thousands of dollars comprising up to 100% of the account's balance be sent overseas via electronic transfer with no safeguards whatsoever, despite zero history of transferring or spending any such amount, and then refusing to cover said amounts. It's a really hot topic in Canada at the moment. Dozens of people and millions of dollars have been implicated as a result of BMO'S negligence, and they refuse to act, change or take responsibility.
17:15 Well…1. Countless innocent people get imprisoned regardless of the time it took to get a conviction and 2. Millions of people are sitting in jail for months or years without EVER seeing a trial simply because they cannot afford bail.
This wouldn’t be an issue for these scammers so…
Perfect timing. Just watched this yesterday. Looking forward to see how many I missed!
That scanner call center is ridiculously inaccurate. #1 it is in the US where they could be prosecuted by American authorities and the labor costs are probably really high; #2 it looks like a vegas casio for no reason at all.
More specifically, my suspension of disbelief was pushed the furthest by the fact that the call center seems to be no more than an hour’s drive away. But there’s something to be said for the film likely trying to avoid political or racial commentary by playing in to commonplace and controversial stereotypes. Attempting to paint no nation in a negative light aside from the US itself. The Scottish agent comes the closest, but doesn’t follow any widespread political stereotypes, and he was one man, the crew leader. The rest of his crew was left unspecified.
@@L0ad1ng45 what Scottish agent
@@jeffwei Lazarus. Never actually knew his name until recently. The one with a prosthetic leg who had killed a Beekeeper before.
They want me to believe that the daughter comes in, sees her mother dead and doesn't kill him immediately?
If I came into my mom's house and saw her laying dead with a strange man in the house, you best believe I'm emptying the clip.
I mean to each their own I supposed, but such an action would cost her the entire career she’s worked for. Only a matter of days to lose her badge, position, and firearm. Jason was fully compliant, showing no resistance and no attempt at violence. Would have stopped counting as self-defense long before that point, and turned to cold-blooded murder. Not the kind of thing a police chief can turn a blind eye to.
If you gave the bees the "whoa, whoa, whoa" treatment, it would have definitely stung more than any jar of honey that was used to advance this movie's plot and most likely resulted in a fire.
Not one bullet hole in cop car at gas station 😂😂

You’re exactly right. For the sake of content, this channel deliberately takes things out of context and forces opinions that can’t even stand on their own two legs. Which is why this channel fails on every imaginable count of being genuine criticism or valid insight.
10 sins for how quickly gas station assassin was able to locate Statham after getting the call.
And 10 more for thinking the “hunted by the beekeeper” was going to be a thing for the next 40 minutes, but was resolved in 2 minutes. And the “beehive” was even empty afterwards. Empty?! We saw it earlier with multiple people working in there - but then DURING an active mission, the place is just empty?
Also also, the plot convenience that ALL these places are within a short drive is just crazy. My first thought at the beginning of the movie was that Act 2 would be in India. Nope - everything is in a small region of the US you can quickly drive between.
@stephen3164 More importantly, the fact that the Beekeepers were barely the last threat. Hell, she even appeared and got killed before the halfway mark of the movie. They are somehow a lesser threat than the SWAT, the retired Navy Seals or whatever, the Secret Service, and then a fucking random gang/cartel who somehow killed a Beekeeper before
These guys really did their work and it shows with the rollercoaster rant, I love it.

@20:40 that was amazing! haha I legit burst out laughing! Thanks for the laughs and sins!
Anyone catch the part where he's going up the stairs in the presidents house taking out security guards and one of the guards basically taps Statham as he walks past? Really looks like he was just telling him his cue to beat him up 😂
I noticed that - just sorta taps him on the leg “me next!”. 😂
I actually enjoyed the movie a lot. The plot and moving from location to location / what was going on were all very easy to follow... and at least made sense in a basic way (despite obvious craziness like the phone scammers being only just a few miles away from the farmhouse). Yes, it was over-the-top in several places, but it was still a lot of fun.
Did anyone else get "Fat Bastard"-vibes from the "top dog" mercenary in yellow in the final act? You talk about Statham's accent, but hearing HIS while seeing him in that yellow outfit just felt so cartoony !! I was waiting for him to say "Get in my BELLY !"
This was a trilogy rammed into one movie.
Should've done a bonus round for all the bee puns. Cause this movie is filled with them
I thought the presence of Jeremy Irons gave this movie more credibility than it deserved otherwise, but was surprised he was only paid $350K. It wasn't a large role, but still that's not much for an actor of his caliber and resume. On the other hand, Statham collected a whopping $25mil, over half of the movie's $40mil budget. It would appear as though he was worth it considering he was the main draw, and it grossed $152.7mil worldwide.
Considering all of the stunt work he did, his contribution eclipses Jeremy.
AN he was worth it being one of the best action stars of his generation & the main draw for ppl seeing this movie. You think if you did this same movie but casted some random actor as Adam Clay it would be as big? lol. probably wouldn't even hit theaters tbh lol
The rollercoaster dip at the start, definitely seems to twist off into the background before it goes back up, plenty of space for the cars.
Agreed about the card being put on hold LOL! My card was put on hold when a dealership tried to charge $45 from their account that didn't have their name. I was able to call them to reprocess the payment, but suspicious activity definitely has the bank alerting you and stopping payments immediately
I’m surprised the “disappearing into the water in front of a bunch of agents” at the end didn’t get sinned.
Just so you know party things are always being delivered last minute most people don't have refrigerators big enough to store that much food.

Agreed. I haven’t watched the video and I don’t plan to, but I have seen the movie. Loved it. There’s no added accent. If the video claims there was, it’s purely imagined out of thin air. Or fabricated misinformation to form a crooked perspective.
