The thing with this movie is by the end, you have no clue what the hell you just watched, but you just feel like you really enjoyed it

I think my favorite detail about this movie is that the movie's runtime is just about the same amount of time it would take to take a bullet train from Tokyo to Kyoto. The movie damn near happens in real time despite the flashbacks.

The bulletproof vest was given to Lemon by Tangerine. Tangerine starts the movie with the vest but you'll notice after a certain point when he has his tie loose that he's no longer wearing the vest, because he gave it to Lemon. Also Lemon mentions at the beginning that a vest won't stop a shot in the neck and that's how Tangerine dies.

Turned this on randomly the other night, was very pleasantly surprised. A completely ridiculous movie, but in the best way 😂
Picked up the movie during a 13 hour flight and was also pleasantly surprised at how good it was. I had no foresight at what kinda movie it was gonna be or the sheer amount of actor cameos was gonna be in it. I thought it was gonna be another action thriller, but it was an entertaining comedy as well. The only good part of the 13 hours.
Loved it was entertaining forget life fun.

Remember when action movies could just be fun and kind of silly and not always make a ton of sense? This movie fits into that group. Love it for those reasons. So glad it doesn't take itself hella seriously and can just enjoy the bonkers idea.

No, the point is he was making a joke. It's called British humour. He's sarcastically saying the White Death is a severely fucked up and brutal person.
This movie was a huge step up from Hobbs and Shaw. The banter in that one was migraine -inducing. This was actually funny

It shamed every single person involved in making it, with the possible lone exception of Vanessa Kirby.

I enjoyed this movie more a lot more than I though I would, considering my friends and I saw it on a whim because we were bored.
I fucking love this movie, simply because it never takes itself too seriously. TBH hollywood was just making fun movies over Covid and I can't blame them. The Lost City, Bullet Train, The Glass Onion, ect ect

I really can forgive every single sin. This movie was everything I could have wanted, fun characters, great humor, cool action, what can I say other than its a 90 minute top tier action comedy.

The mid credits flashback and reveal that Lemon killed the Prince with a tangerine truck was absolute poetic justice and should be 10 sins off. So entertaining lol, the biggest yes when she got run over and even better seeing it was him.
Having been in Japan, I can testify to their ability to ignore things happening around them, especially when non-Japanese are involved just not to this extent, also, everyone knows that Momonga is a 9ft tall undead Overlord.

Yep. That's just metropolitan life in general. After all, Collateral made a line about how a guy died on a subway train in LA and his body was doing laps around the city before anyone noticed and I would totally believe that happening for real.

The guy he tackled off the train with him had a gun, which the movie shows the guy drop as they both fall, so it is somewhat plausible.

Bullet Train was a magical experience in the most chaotic way possible. It's been a while since a movie has made me want to check out its source material

This movie was basically an anime film come to life with all the wacky characters, visuals and monologues/flashbacks. It was a great time. The water bottle is the true hero of the movie.
It's basically if anime met french comedy and made it into a movie with Hollywood's budget. A masterpiece.

The Japanese characters that show up in the title 弾丸列車 is not the Japanese word for the bullet train that is in use right now. The Japanese word for bullet train is actually Shinkansen, written 新幹線. 弾丸列車 is actually a literal translation of bullet, 弾丸(dangan), and train, 列車(ressha). This term was used for a prototype of the Shinkansen that was planned in 1939. It was meant to be a train that travels faster than a bullet. It probably was a deliberate choice by the director use the literal translation though.
Yeah, I absolutely loved this level of detail in the movie. It was excellent.
I was so expecting Channing Tatum to be one of the assassins instead of just some random passenger lol. Also, I love that Ryan Reynolds had a 1 second cameo in Brad Pitt's movie in response to Brad Pitt making a 1 sec (or less) cameo in Deadpool 2.
Sin for this movie having a better handle on Thomas character personalities than Sharon Miller did during her tenure of writing for the show. DING.

At 1:07, you say that it holds no purpose, but he avoids the conductor because his receipt doesn't cover his ticket. Thats how he ran into the Wolf guy because he was dodging the conductor
CinemaSins, I think you may have missed one. When the doctor is poisoned (~14:00), you comment that the villain only had to spray the poison on the surgical tools while at the wedding they had to eat the poisoned food. However, the doctor would never even have touched the sterilized tools with his bare hand - he would have been wearing his non-permeable surgical gloves from the moment he entered the room. Not even skin contact? That poison has a mind; it just kills whoever it wants to.
Hi, a year late. I think that the prince actually is shown spraying the doctors face mask in a flashback. So, he would have just inhaled it, effectively eating it.
Fun fact: all main characters who died were killed by their own weapon
The Prince was hit by a truck, and the White death was killed by the explosive gun.

I seriously enjoyed this movie. You can tell the movie is based around a lot of Tarantino movies, but it’s so good you might even say it out-Tarantino’d Tarantino!
I tried after a long time to watch one of these and....I just cant. After CinemaWins, I realized it is infinitely more fun to find joy in movies you like or even dislike than it is to nitpick and fault movies.
Doesn't help that so many of the sins that are meant to be real nitpicks are incorrect and so many of the sins that are meant to be jokes are unfunny.
I used to enjoy this channel back when I was a cynical, edgy middle schooler. Not so much anymore. Me and my buddies watched this movie at like 11pm-1am last weekend and had a great time, idk wtf Jeremy was smoking before he decided to rag so much on it.
Most underrated movie of 2022 by far. I highly recommend if you haven’t seen it.

Actually, the Tokaido shinkansen between Tokyo and Kyoto does stop at each station for only about a minute. I wouldn't even try to get a soda from a vending machine right at the platform when it stops.

No, what the White Death said was that he bought every ticket to fill capacity. Nobody could get a ticket from the second to last stop until the last stop because it was fully booked. So anyone left on the train would be the agents that he hired.

In case you haven't caught on quite yet, the whole point of CINEMA SINS is to (usually sarcastically) find fault with universally loved films. Same with TV Sins, Music Video Sins... The only "Sins" compilation that's the exception to the rule by being pretty genuine is TV Commercial Sins, which typically rags on products that can be looked back on as pretty terrible NOW.

It was a fun flick to be honest. Went blind without watching the trailer and was surprised with a lot of action, good enough story and solid laughs. Some unexpected cameos too.

About half of the sins you gave it are basically just sinning the anime tropes that it's ripping off. The random slow-mo, the excessively detailed backstory, everything, it's just a live action anime and I love it.

Compared to everything else we have seen this year, this movie is amazing, and is probably in the top 3 of movies I saw this year.
He shows the conductor his receipt bc he lost his ticket BUT the conductor doesn’t accept it and tells him to get off at the next stop. He then has to hide to avoid the conductor at a few points in the movie. Doesn’t really explain where the conductor goes or how the train goes from full to empty by the end, even if the guy bought every ticket.
This movie had unrealistic action scenes, but it was also well done and very fun to watch. And introducing a character and giving a long flashback to establish the character only to then immediately kill them off is some masterclass comedy.
I love the details, call backs, lighting, dialogue, etc. Only thing that bothered me is that Kyoto seems to have moved much closer to Mt. Fuji without explanation.
Had no clue about this movie before I watched it and it was good, better than most in the last few years actually.

There was no lead at the end that warrants a sequel given the white death was the main reason behind this and he dies. It would be pointless. Although things got explained about how it all started, maybe a prequel could be worthwhile, but only if there's something worth telling.

02:00 Having recently been to Japan I can tell you this is incorrect. The express trains only stop for a short time at each station, you don't have time to get off to get stuff at the station, that's why there's the lady with a snacks and drinks cart on the train, and the PA speaker warns you to be ready to get off as soon as the train stops if it's your stop. Most people get their food and drinks before they first get on the train.
Saw it in the cinema and absolutely loved it! Best film of 2022!

No, the movie is making fun of what people like ladybug tend _to make_ off their therapy for anxiety. It's a caricature, and actually a pretty good one. It's a bit uncomfortable from the same shoes, but that what makes it a good caricature. Getting all overshary and advanced self-helpy at people is a thing a lot of people do after getting into therapy, especially if they fought opening up to it in the first place, and this is just a tropey juxtaposition that is very in the spirit of the insane over-the-top-ness of the whole movie of exactly that.
We all fight with that in the beginning. It's representation, fairly harmless and well made. What else do you want?
21:20 It is shown a bit earlier in the movie that the poison wont work if you got a recent antidote. I know it doesnt show Hornet taking one, but its at least some kind of explaination
17:12- a better question would be why didn’t she have any spare anti-venom with her just in case the first one got lost or, in this case, someone like ladybug took it and used it on himself.
