Although my pond is not heated my tropical system runs on the same heat exchanger you have, they work very well.

not sure if this will get me any help. but as someone new to koi keeping. im trying to build a pond with similar style as your ponds, how do i keep the pond liner secured up top?

Make sure you've got some overhang and if there's something to attach it to you can just use tacks. If not rocks or under slabs or something similar.

I see the exchanger had a "No salt water" on the lable, could this be a problem at 1/2 oz per gallon in a koi pond?😮

Hopefully not, it should be fine they often consider salt water as marine kind of level.
