This might sound like a weird request, but do you think you could do a list of books you loved that were set in the World Wars? I love history and I love fiction but it's kinda difficult to find something good and developed in both, history and plot fronts and I trust your opinion. It would be really cool. :)
i agree with this. you should try to read the prince by vito bruschini, diary of lena mukhina and also winter horse by philip kerr. they're pretty good :).
I read The Nightingale in May and I 100% agree with you. It was an incredible story that made me ugly cry a lot and gave me so many things to think about. I just want everyone to read it now.
Dear Regan, Great video as always. I love how you are very inciteful with your bookish opinions. I decided it would be a fitting time to do this because I started watching your videos in March. When you started reading these amazing books. I quickly fell in love with you and your channel. and you even influenced me to make my own channel. When I posted my first video today, I couldn't have been more proud of myself. And I feel like everyone has to feel proud of themselves at least every once in a while, so I'm here to tell you this. Look where you were a few years ago and look where you are now and remember your journey. Know that you've impacted and influenced the lives of many people and be proud of it. Once again, thanks Regan for inspiring me to create my own Booktube channel and start my own journey. See you in the next video! Bye! -Sona
My favourite book of this year so far has definitely been Lady Midnight, but this has honestly been such an amazing reading year with SO MANY awesome reads!
Such a great idea to do seasonal wrapups!! I think that from your top 5 the one that I would like to read the most is The Nightingale. From the ones I've read so far this year, I think I would recommend you "I Capture the Castle" and "The 13 Clocks"!
Yay! So glad to hear you loved Flamecaster! You got me into the Seven Realms series, and I'm currently on The Exiled Queen. It's already one of my favorites! Great video!
Great list! The Nightingale would make my own version of this list, for sure. It was such an amazing book. I expected it to be good, but it surpassed that easily. You've got me interested in Chima's work. I haven't read anything by her just yet, but it seems right up my alley.
You read so fast! I'm too busy napping during the day! So glad you make time to read! It's an feeling to get a lot of reading done! I want to read "Gena/Finn" and "A Sudden Appearance of Hope" so badly! They both seem so good!
Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare The Beast by JR Ward Reign of Shadows by Sophie Jordan Starflight by Melissa Landers Invision by Sherrilyn Kenyon and Reawakened by Colleen Houck
I might have just bought The Sudden Appearance of Hope because it's included on the list with The Nightingale and ACOMAF, two books that I have a feeling will be in my top 10 of the year. It sounds so interesting!
The Nightingale was my favourite book of 2015...Loved loved this story and I too cried reading this book. And I just finishedBlackmoore last night and really like it as well. I also just read the Forbidden Orchid by Sharon Biggs Waller a historicalfiction novel and loved it as well (All of these were 5 out of 5 stars for me).
My favorite books of spring were Furies of Calderon, by Jim Butcher; Mistborn: Secret History, by Brandon Sanderson; The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August, by Claire North; Station Eleven, by Emily St. John Mandel; and A Court of Mist and Fury, by Sarah J. Maas. I think I got three of those because of your videos, so thanks for that!
The Nightingale and All the Lights We Cannot See were two of my favorite books that I read last year. If you haven't read either of them you need to :D I'm thinking that I might have to pick up A Court of Mist and Fury one of these days. I liked the first book but didn't love it, but a lot of people are telling me that the second one is way better.
started the king killer chronicles (is tht what its called) by patric rothfuss bec of your recommendation and i looooved it! i know i can always trust ur opinion on fantasy bec ur tye inly book tuber that read the demon king series which i love!
Definitely going to buy The Yoga of Max's Discontent :) Btw, have you read Legend by Marie Lu? It is the first from a trilogy and they are all so so good xx
Same I have to read the Bane Chronicles and the shadowhunter academy novellas but I want to read Lady Midnight so badly! Specially cause I've only heard really great things about it!
Hey! I got spoiled for the the first book in the Seven Realms series. It really discouraged me from reading it and now it's been sitting in my TBR for a while. Should I still read it? The spoiler involves the main character..
I am very hesitant to start a new Sarah J. Maas series after the throne of glass series (for me) went downhill so so fast after the climax in the second book. Anybody else who has this issue?
i've heard nothing but good things about acotar and acomaf but i'm so angry about queen of shadows and what sarah j maas did to chaol that I don't trust her and can't read any more of her books :(
Do you have any Medieval/Fantasy combined books? Also, people who ask how to read fast is that you don't. What you do is dont get off tracked, and just being compelled by the book.
