Please read Winter!! I plan on reading TMI and TID this summer! oh, and We, The Drowned ^^ I also really want to reread the Night Circus! Good luck with your tbr!
The Winner's Kiss is so good Regan! You're gonna love it! And pick Winter up already it's just an epic conclusion to the series (The Winner's Kiss too!) And I need to read The Raven King soon (probably gonna pick it up next after I finish A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E Schwab-I have like 80 pages left- so will pick it up this week) and I am honestly terrified to read it...
oh my goodness, Yes! Fablehaven was one of the first high fantasy books I read as a kid. It is such an amazing series and you will love it. Definitely doesn't get enough hype. Great video. I really want to finish a lot of series this summer. Like Oz and the Throne of Glass.
ACOMAF I just can't. I finished it last night and it's been hitting me all day that I have to wait a year for the next one 😩 I loved Winter! Such a great way to end the series 🙈 I'm hoping to read that's last two books in The Raven Cycle series too 😊
I do that too with the last book to a series. I'll count down the days till it comes out the. I'll put off reading it because I don't want it to end. 😀
I can't wait to read Poison Study, finish the Lunar Chronicles (see what I think), Girl of Fire and Thorns and re reading the Old Kingdom series (highly recommend) :)
I do the same thing, I tend to put off the final books in a series. The lunar chronicles and the Raven cycle are on the top of my list this summer too.
I hope you love Truthwitch!! One of my favorites. And I LOVED A Court of Mist and Fury. It was so, so, so brilliant! And same goes for Winter! Such a great series finale. And I, too, have to read The Winner's Kiss. I hope I get to read it during the summer as well!
I just finished Blue Lily, Lily Blue. Holy crap. It had me shouting expletives what seemed like every chapter. Can't wait to hear your thoughts! I loved it and I'm fixing to read The Raven King. And, I also just started reading Truthwitch today. And I want to read The Way of Kings this summer.
Regan! There is an amazing Middle Grade series is The Land of Stories by Chris Colfer. It's not exactly retellings of Grimm Fairy Tales but it takes place in the Fairy Tale land! There are four books out and I definitely think you will enjoy it! Also, I totally can't wait to get into The Raven Boys series!
Also need to read the last book from Maggie Stiefvater. Really liked the series. I'll probably try going through all the books I currently have on my kindle and getting some real books as well.
Woooo done with finals! Just knocked off Falling into Place- Amy Zhang, and We Have Always Lived in the Castle- Shirley Jackson; currently on The Starboard Sea- Amber Dermont. These were all on my list for months/years.
My summer TBR is: - Heroes of Olympus series - Rick Riordan - Fear, Light - Michael Grant maybe some other books if I have the time or don't like the other books! Great video!!
I am the exact same with Truthwitch. I bought it when it came out and got sidetracked by so many other books. I need to read it this summer as well. The Bronze Horseman trilogy sounds really good! I read Cinder and loved it. I have the others but have to finish reading them. Too many books! Lol. Thanks for the video! 😺
I need to finish the Lunar Chronicles series, too! :) I hope you like all the books on your list, especially since I'm now adding a few to my TBR also.
I am still in the on the fantasy train and even though I do want to read some contemporaries this summer I doubt the fantasy thing is going to stop. I have Truthwitch and ACOTAR and ACOMAF on my TBR for this month which I am excited to pick up
I plan on reading A Series of Unfortunate Events. I read the first four books in elementary school, but didn't like it. I think a LOT of it was just over my head. Now that I'm older I can appreciate how clever it is! I'm on book #4 right now.
This year I've said that I'd only read standalone's and sequels so that I can catch up on the many, many series I started last year, and I pretty much stuck to it. Therefore, for the summer I'd like to read The Winner's Kiss and the Raven King, same as you, but I'd also like to read The Unexpected Everything for a nice, summery read and now that schools over I can feel as if i can commit to longer books. (I really want to read ACOMAF but I don't have it in me read something so long right now so I hope to read it sometime over the summer).
Hey!! I just wanted to tell you that I just finished Blackmoore per your recommendation and I LOVED it! When I hit the halfway mark and got into the wager that Kate made with Henry I couldn't put it down!! I had to know what happened! Thanks for bringing this book to my attention!
There are some great books in there. Susan Dennard is one of my favourite writers and I am holding on to my two copies of Truthwitch like they're gold bullion or something. I don't know, similes aren't my forte. Anyhow, I hope you get around to reading all the books intended. I'm awaiting Jessie Burton's next book The Muse, and that is all I have planned to read this summer. I'm no good with lists.
I still yet have to read both Cress and Winter from the lunar chronicles, but it is just that as much as I love the series, I don't want it to end so I am going veryyyyy slowly reading them all ^^
I have been putting off the last two books in the Heroes of Olympus series for a year now, so I want to finish those. I also have to read Lady Midnight a I want to finish the Vampire Academy series.
I want to start with mistborn trilogy , daughter of smoke and bone trilogy and lunar chronicles. I heard about winner's trilogy on your channel and I just completed it yesterday. It is very good and totally enjoyed it. So I would like to thank you because all the books I try out from your channels have been worth it.
You're so luck that your last final is tomorrow, mine is on July 4th! Winter is definitely on my summer reading list, tho I'm mad at myself that I still haven't read it. Also the Raven Cycle!
Fablehaven is such a great novel, and an even greater start to a series! You won't be able to put it down! Trust me 😇😌 I'm hoping to finish the Madman's Daughter trilogy (totally recommend), finish Outlander, and finish other series that have been piling up 😅
I might catch up in the Dark Hunter Series and the Chronicles of Nick. And maybe Game of Thrones. I guess I will join you in the fantasy summer Reading.
Honestly, I feel like Truthwitch will be one of those series that builds up to something great. The first book is OKAY, I love how refreshing it is that there's no insta-love and the second pair of love interest looks like a hate/love relationship. The second book is already coming our way (Windwitch) and if I'm correct on how the books will come out then I can't wait until Bloodwitch fufufu. I have expectations for how the series will go and I hope I'm not disappointed >^< BTW, Soldier by Julie Kagawa?? Anyone?? **sigh** Julie Kagawa deserves more recognition 😣😣
I just finished The Raven King, which I really enjoyed, The Raven Cycle is such a beautiful and special series. I originally planned to read Six of Crows and A Court of Mist and Fury this summer, but I'm readig ACOMAF right now... Idk, I'll have to find something.
Throne of Glass has literally been my favorite series for 2 years now and I have yet to read Heir of Fire and Queen of Shadows DX so yeah, that's my summer reading
The Lunar Chronicles isn't truly ending though! Marissa Meyers has announced that next year she's going to release a graphic novel series revolving around Iko and also there's going to be a coloring book!
Oooo mainly I wanna read Lolita, The Rose and The Dagger, And A COURT OF MIST AND FURRRRYYYYYY i'm so excited obviously i'll read more than three but I haven't decided yet
Books to read this summer: Mistborn series, Perks of being a wallflower, The fault in our stars, Illuminae, Trials of Apollo, The Inquisition, Throne of Glass series and maybe some more if I can squeeze them in there.
I wanted to read the summer garden this summer too, but I've read SOO many bad reviews, and I've also spoiled myself at this point by reading the reviews so Yea. I don't know if I'm gonna read it or not, I just hope you do a book review for it soon
I love your top! Where did you get it! Also I love your books choices! I want to read the first Winners Curse book and maybe getting it soon but just wanted to leave a comment! Love your videos and I can't wait to see more 😊
I still need to read Winter too :D Otherwise I definitely plan to read Amy & Roger's Epic Detour, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and I need to finish TMI so I can finally read Lady Midnight.
This summer my goal is 20 books! I'm planning on reading a few YA fantasy series, some books by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, maybe some German authors and I want to try to read Harry Potter in Spanish! I can read in Spanish but have always hated it. Since I'm going to study Spanish Lit. I'm starting with something easy I enjoy, to warm up before I get to like Cervantes and stuff.... Anyway, watching your book videos makes me so excited to start reading!!! I can't wait until finals/school ends and I can go home and start reading!! I can never read at school because of the homework guilt haha

+Vania Garcia thanks for the recommendations! :) Yeah I know Cervantes is super hard which is why I'm a bit wary of having to read him, although it's one of the first literature classes I have to take. My goal was to ease myself to Spanish reading with books I've read before in English and then progress to the really hard stuff. But thanks for the recommendations! I'll definitely try them ;)
Yes, I do that too. And now I have in my house copies of the same book in English, Spanish and German (which is terrible). My advice, like a person that studies a lot of crazy languages, is to read something that you're really interested in. When I was trying to read my first book in English, I did so many things, but only this worked. I just bought a book by Tahereh Mafi and hey! I read in one day! But I understand how difficult this is. Have a nice day :D
The Winner's Kiss is great. I loved the whole series but the last book was my favorite. Also I just spent two days doing nothing but marathoning ACOMAF. So great. So much better than the first book.
i'm going to be finishing HP & The Chamber of Secrets, HP & The Prisoner of Azkaban, and HP & The Goblet of Fire. Afterwards I will make my way to one stand alone book (either Fangirl or Eleanor & Park) and then I will read my 2 required summer readers for school /:
I feel the same way about the Raven king I have read the first too am currently reading the third and i need to read the forth because I just feel like I am going to get spoiled
I've been on a huge fantasy kick lately. I'm currently listening to Deathly Hallows and reading the Battle of the Labyrinth and Winter. I also recently bought The Curse of Apollo, ACOTAR & ACOMAF, as well as the 1st books of Throne of Glass, Daughter of Smoke and Bone, Falling Kingdoms, and Into the Dim. I'm gonna have a lot to read this summer 😝
the books i've got on my summer reading list: Morgan Matson books. lol. i've put off reading the two that i have on my shelf for months just so that i could read them in the summer xD
I'm only 171 pages into A Court of Mist and Fury but it's 100 times better than A Court of Thorns and Roses! I much prefer it, and I loved the first book. ACOMF would make an awesome fantasy game. I'm loving it!!! Also, Winter was also great but I needed more from the very end! It was nicely tied up but just certain things to it that I needed to know a bit more. I really need to read the Raven Boys. I have book 1 at home
I'm planning to read: Cress (currently halfway through) Winter Fairest Stars Above A Storm of Swords (ASOIAF) To All the Boys I've Loved Before The Martian Bad Feminist and A Feast for Crow (ASOIAF)

All the best for your last final! I really wanna finish Marie Rutkoski's trilogy soon too, I've only read The Winner's Curse so far :)
ACOMAF I just can't. I finished it last night and it's been hitting me all day that I have to wait a year for the next one 😩 I loved Winter! Such a great way to end the series 🙈 I'm hoping to read that's last two books in The Raven Cycle series too 😊

You've inspired my solely fantasy based TBR this whole year( and for that thank you for introducing Mistborn to me *cries* )
OMG A Court of Mist and Fury was sooooo good! I'm already rereading it. Very steamy lol and also much better than book 1 in my opinion
Also need to read the last book from Maggie Stiefvater. Really liked the series. I'll probably try going through all the books I currently have on my kindle and getting some real books as well.

I plan on reading the Selection series and basically any fantasy series/novels I can get my hands on.
This year I've said that I'd only read standalone's and sequels so that I can catch up on the many, many series I started last year, and I pretty much stuck to it.

+WrinkleinTime42 Hi! Well, Cervantes can be a tough read, actually. If you're starting (and I know how that feels (With english, you know)), you can read Laura Gallego. She's an amazing author: There's Memorias de Idhún, which is not the easiest trilogy, but if you want a stand-alone, there are Dos velas para el diablo or Donde los árboles cantan... She is amaaazing, God
+Vania Garcia thanks for the recommendations! :)
Yeah I know Cervantes is super hard which is why I'm a bit wary of having to read him, although it's one of the first literature classes I have to take.
I'm reading A Court of Mist and Fury right now. I'm only on page 214, but it's just so good!
