The Moon has drawn out our sense of wonder since before we were fully human. Where did it come from? What secrets are written in its rocks? For most of our history, its story was cloaked in myth and mystery. Only now are the vivid details coming into focus.
This video takes you back 4.5 billion years to witness the dramatic ways which the moon could have formed, according to the latest mind-blowing theories. By reading the clues written in Moon rocks, we are closer than ever to knowing its full story. But the Moon still holds its secrets close. What else is it hiding?
Concept, visual effects, and music by melodysheep (John D. Boswell). Featuring the voice of Dr. Sarah T. Stewart and samples from Moonwalk One and Man and the Moon. Additional visuals by Tim Stupak, Sarah T. Stewart and NASA. Soundtrack now available: bit.ly/2VOiV4Z

When UA-camrs make better, more engaging documentaries than news outlets and people with millions of dollars
When people are so retarded that they think whatever they see must be created by the uploader. Check the credits, duh.
But you're right. E.g. NASA is not "people with millions of dollars". Their budget is in the billions.
John Doh read the description, it appears to have been a collaboration. So no, not single handedly created by the UA-camr but a fair amount was with some help from NASA. Either way, it’s a higher level of quality than most are used to from UA-cam.

The way this channel appeals to the natural creativity of the human mind whilst also exploring scientific theories and open-thinking is a diamond in the rough for UA-cam. I often wonder if this level of sparking creative interest in science was around when I was a child how the path I have taken might be different. But I'm glad you are here. Superb.
I love how when it shows the hypothetical human perspective of Theia’s impact when you expect it to hit, it just keeps getting bigger.
Yup, that goes to show the shocking scale of many planets including our own and Mars (sized)
This might happen in the near future
Could you imagine the fear of watching it grow on the horizon like that.... Then hearing the roaring crushing sound of it beginning to hit the earth.. all while it just gets darker and darker as it closes in. I wonder how fast it would really be over with. My Grandfather once told me when you have a problem that seems mighty big then talk with the man on the moon. When you wake up in the morning and if the sun is out you tell me. If it is raining you write it in a letter and give it to Nana. If it is snowing you tell your mother. If it is cloudy you tell Pop.
I was 6 when he said this to me. It has helped me all these years when my problem seemed to big for me. The man on the moon never steered me wrong to date. Though the people have changed due to deaths in the family, you need someone to talk with when your troubles weigh you down.
