WATER WORLDS: Hideouts for Alien Life?
Вставка
- Опубліковано 27 кві 2023
- Far beyond Earth, a new type of alien water planet could be speckling our galaxy by the billions, like cosmic dew drops.
These “Hycean Planets” range up to ten times the mass of the Earth, containing mega-oceans that could stretch down hundreds of kilometers.
Their extreme pressures keep their water liquid across a wide range of temperatures, broadening the zone in which they could host life. And researchers now believe that these worlds are extremely common in the universe.
Soon we will get our first peek into the atmosphere of a possible Hycean world, K2-18b, thanks to the James Webb Space Telescope. What secrets will these ocean worlds reveal? Is something out there, swimming freely in an ocean more vast that we can imagine?

Your content is incredible btw
Very nice video! I love your works, melodysheep!
The animation the sound design everything is just immaculate
I watch a lot of space videos on UA-cam but this is the channel I get most excited for when I see a new video. They understand how to capture the epic taste of space exploration.

melodysheep, your series about space are getting better and better every time, which deserves great praise!
I agree. I’ve seen them all and always look forward to something new. What a way to kick off the weekend as I watch this over my lunch. Keep up the top notch production quality and I look forward to the next video.
Real. Especially in their new trailer drop of the human future, their music just gets better and better!
Hmm, I think Our Story in 1 Minute, Timelapse of the Future, and Life Beyond Chapter 1 are still the best, in that order.
It deserves oscar
Does anyone else think it would be cool if melodysheep and lemmino collaborated?
What i love about melody's videos is that they never shy away from actually showing aliens and how they might look, it's always a big part of the narrative
One of the alien appearances they took from the game ARK: Survival Evolved and it’s Extinction DLC. It’s the Desert Titan.
@@nchaos. Cool! Yeah i imagined most of the alien life they show wasn't really theirs, specially with an alien so detailed. No one would model, texture and rig such a model for a 5 minute video. Either way, still it's cool to see aliens protrayed in a video about aliens, not many people do it
@@Ax6Creepyxxd Definitely! Melodysheep doesn't make his own models most of the time, as that would just take too long. Still absolutely mind blowing work. Especially if you consider that pretty much all of it is done by a single person.
there are no aliens and the reason there aren't, is because if aliens are ever found on any planet that would negate the word of God the Bible….because the Bible never mention them, because there is none …this is hard to accept, but that’s the hard truth….if were aliens; God would’ve told us
@@horizodawn That's the most impressive thing to me. Editing, music, even if the animations are not his own most of the time, it speaks volumes that even footage that could be consider "stock" and "generic" in every other scenario just works beautifully with the right context and emotion. Melodysheep is a master at making generic videos feel amotional.
We can all agree. Melodysheep is super underated and deserves so many more subscribers and viewers after all the work he puts in and how honestly these documentaries are far better then anything national geographic can produce. Keep up the great work its amazing

Why the world hasn’t been talking about this channel and it’s creators?? It just takes me from my normal fast paced life to an unknown voyage! And sheer efforts have been made into making these videos and the background scores is just amazing and bread taking and I am truly thankful to the creators of this channel Melodysheep! Thank you.

I still can't fathom how your videos don't get tens of millions of views instantly. These are the best visual/audio masters there are on youtube. The reason melodysheep doesn't get millions of views because it is actually ahead of the time we are living in. Human intelligence right now finds more exciting watching jumping & bouncing tiktokers come youtubers for no reason than they do to watch mysteries of universe.
There isn't a single channel other than this at which we can get such high quality visuals. Thankyou so much Melodysheep❤
Soundtrack is also phenomenal
I agree, Mustard is the only other channel that even comes close.

Hi, I'm a new subscriber, and just wanna say thank you for the breathtaking video! I'm quite fond of watching YT videos about space and about the depths of the ocean, and I think this particular video felt so different. It doesn't just feel like a regular scientific documentary, it also feels very artistic, and I saw that you are a film maker and make your own music, and I thought, so that's why this video felt as much as a work of art as it is a documentary! I love it so much! Looking forward for more of your artistic videos!
I feel like you could make a full-length documentary or series and it would be a huge success. Amazing work as always!

Well, isn't Life Beyond sort of that?.
Yeah and tons of editing and rendering
life beyond has entered the chat (and human future, when it comes out)
@@syoexpedius7424 Yes, and it's fantastic!
This is horrifying yet inspiring. The thought of an sentient alien life that was able to evolve and conquer their oceans. Looking at stars and getting hyped when they find that there are other planets they can live in and find life in sends chills down to my spine. Maybe they even peaked at our world from afar in the long past or in the distant future.
I dont think an aquatic species will ever be able to leave that planet no matter how smart they are since it requires way more effort. It doesnt really show here but most Ocean planets would have insane superstorms most of the time with giant like waves.
Just dont think there is a possible way for them to thrive

Thank you for what you do. This was a treat.
These videos always bring out some sort of feeling deep inside that I can’t explain. This universe is so fascinating.
The feeling of awe and excitement I had as a child when I saw something about the universe, but at some point I stopped having those feelings because I was consuming too much. Only Melodysheep reawakens this childish fascination again.

The creature at 4:12 is the Desert Titan from Ark. Even though in the game it's mainly a flying creature, it fits so well into this kind of humongous underwater environment. I really enjoyed this video and am looking forward to seeing more on these "Hycean Planets"!
Yes it's exactly what I thought I wanted, to look and see if anybody said the same thing next we'll see the Forest Titan

This has always fascinated me so much. Because our oceans have been shelter to many alien-like creatures. I can't imagine what these oceans contain within themselves. What lurks under the blue is what fascinates me.

The life would look similar to life on earth because organisms have to be practical. Its highly unlikely that they have extremely weird wacky and useless body parts that you would see in alien/monster movies.

@@realmenhub9773ake the human appendix. helps you fight disease when you’re a kid, but in your adulthood it serves 0 purpose and sometimes explodes and kills you. The human earlobe is useless, as well as male nipples on pretty much every mammal. It’s not to far-fetched that life on different planets looks very very different to life on our own. Such magnificiently crafted high quality videos. It's obvious for a human being to get lost in the awestruck beauty of it. I thank God that I came across this channel and subscribed!
These planets interest me the most. Think of the alien marine we could find on them, they could either as small as phytoplankton or as large as whales or hell even bigger! Great example in my opinion of what alien marine life could look like are from Subnautica and Avatar 2.
The cool thing is that we have water worlds in our own star system, places like Europa and Enceladus have sub surface oceans, along with others possibly Callisto and Ganymede.
I love your videos. They make me realize how big the universe is and how small me and my human problems actually are. It's all so much bigger than us... We are just such a small part of existence in the moment and also in all time.
Without fail you made another amazing inspiring and informative video, keep it up man!
