Good to know lol… I guess I just decided that it seemed very difficult to use mainly casually, and wanted to give it a bit of a use in single battles too
If Helping Hand did get a buff, it wouldn’t be the first time for a move that was already good in competitive. 2 examples I can think of for something like that happening are Knock Off and Rapid Spin.
Honestly both changing sonic boom and dragon rage feels kinda like changing early game moves. Since they are mostly early game moves for Pokemon with them. Especially dragons. As for Rage idk I think it’s fine. I mean Totodile is legit the best gen 2 starter in a lot of situations due to early rage. All other moves mentioned are fine though I like some of the ideas.
Fair opinion, I just thought that they could be used for more than just early game moves since their ideas are cool but become useless as the game progresses. Thanks for commenting 😁
Honestly after the release of Blood Moon, every recharge move should have that effect too. Either eliminate the recharge altogether,or just admit that Blood Moon is a dumb move.
Dragon rage is useful at fixed 40 damage. That fixed damage is fixed at 40 no matter what the opponent’s defence stats are or if the opponent has barriers. So boosting dragon rage’s damage would get out of control quickly in competitive.
I made it so that it still dealt a fix amount of HP, so it won’t be out of control in competitive since it’s still the same concept but able to scale up with the Pokémon’s HP stat
Personnally, I thought that water sport could be used to activate some rain abilities and come with a little boost (very little, since it's a more defensive move) maybe a 20% to water moves
Helping hand does NOT need a buff in doubles, it's already used a ton primarily by support pokemon that can't deal a lot of damage themselves (namely trick room setters) to make their partner more lethal when using spread moves especially. Face a tera normal bloodmoon ursaluna under trick room spamming hyper voice or a tera fairy choice specs flutter mane spamming dazzling gleam and tell me helping hand needs a buff.
I'd also fix more of the early pokemon move sets if we could go back to older gens Give them move types they could probably learn like Charizard learning a poison move as lizards could have toxins. Blastoise more rock moves on base for example. Plus pokemon that are like birds but not flying types getting flying moves more often.
@@VeyloYT yeah. I feel fire red did ok giving metal claw to Charmander but could have done more for the other two with some rock and ground moves to make the starters have more balance to their sets.
Awesome video man! I always hated that Dragon Rage becomes useless to have after early game (especially since it has a cool animation), so I liked your edit of that move a lot.
I think Rage with boosted BP and rasing Atk and Speed is too broken. With boosting Atk stat Rage after being hitted once don't do 60 BP damage, but 90 BP damage (60+50% from Atk boost). It isn't bad, but get hit twice and your Rage would work as 140 BP move. Boosting base power is good idea and it would be enough. And if move has no usage in single battle, but it's important in double battles, this doesn't make that move useless. I wouldn't change moves like Helping Hand or Mud Sport, I would change game to include more double battles in story.
Great ideas! I agree with you on that, but when one of your Pokemon learns something like mud sport or helping hand in a casual playthrough, I just feel like instead of instantly deleting it, the moves could have some extra use. Thanks for the comment, I appriciate you coming to the channel! 😁
😅 helping hand is already a good move it is just not made for a single battle you have just made it over powered I would personally buffer like following If it is used in a single battle it works like baton pass and the Pokemon coming on the first turn off that Pokemon being on being in filled will get a 50 percent increase in damge out put anyways A good video a sub from me
That’s a great idea! I completely agree, after further research I realize helping hand was already pretty decent, so I’ll have to find some more bad moves to fix for a future video😁
What moves do you want to see fixed next? I read and reply to all comments :)
As a competitive player, helping hand DOES NOT need a boost, trust. Ts would be broken
Good to know lol… I guess I just decided that it seemed very difficult to use mainly casually, and wanted to give it a bit of a use in single battles too

@@VeyloYTit’s the BEST move in doubles by far.
If you ask me, Helping Hand should get an effect in Singles and nothing else.

@@VeyloYTI feel like moves should naturally transition out as the game progresses.

Yep I completely agree, they need to be consistent somehow! Thanks for commenting, welcome to the channel 😁
Water sport is actually good if you have a Budew, reducing Fire type attack, which are scary for Budew since she is a grass type.
Yeah that’s true, I think if it were learned by more grass types it would be much better but you have a good point! Thanks for commenting 😁
I love the idea of Razor Wind not having to charge during Tailwind(2:26). If you ever make a part 2, you should fix Triple Kick.
Thank you for the comment and suggestion! If enough people want a part 2 then I’ll do it for sure 😁

@@VeyloYT fair enough, but then that moment when Blissey somehow gets ahold of dragon rage and we all die! 😂
Well that should never happen 😂
Guzzlord would be op

Fair opinion, I agree for the most part lol. I’d probably make that adjustment if I were to redo the video, thanks for commenting! 😁
Regieleki would cry at sight of your fixed mudsport lmao
Haha it could destroy a lot of fast electric types 😂
It cant cry, it has no water coverage
These are great ways to make these moves far more useful. Love the changes.😊😊😊😊😊

@@VeyloYT yeah. I feel fire red did ok giving metal claw to Charmander but could have done more for the other two with some rock and ground moves to make the starters have more balance to their sets.
I'm honestly surprised Gamefreak hasn't introduced a form of damage reduction.
Superb video brother keep it up and welcome back 💪🏻❤️
Thank you so much 3DM, I’m glad to see you here again! 😁
One of the better custom fix moves video I have seen. Love the razor wind changes.
Thank you so much, I’m glad you enjoyed 😁

If I were to do the sports, I would make them a TM that can be taught to every pokemon and function as terrastilization in post paldea games.
That’s a great idea! Thanks for commenting and welcome to the community 😁
great video as always
Thanks for the support man!
Helping hand was already good on support mon, now it's op
This shit in hella detail, W video
Thank you man, I appriciate the comment!
very nice editing :>
Thank you, it’s nice to see the hard work payed off! 😁
Rage sounds cool, but if it works the way you planned, it would be broken with Beat Up in Doubles.
the trapping effect (sport moves ) should not last once the user switches out to make the move fair
Nice :)
Thanks bro! 😁
