This is the Battle from the DLC. It's against Okidogi, Munkidori & Fezandipiti newly introduced in the DLC Teal Mask.

I first thought Munkidori would be the gremlin.
Team Charm but toxic (and male)
A literal Team Repugnance (since “repugnance” is an antonym for “charm”)
Munkidori is definitely the most intellectual out of the three and I get why some people don’t like the design of Munkidori which I genuinely respect their opinions but I quite like Munkidori mainly because while its typing may seem questionable, I personally don’t mind it and the animal its based around is mostly likely the Japanese Macaque which makes a lot of sense given the region Munkidori is in, lol!!! 😆💕
People are saying they're just bullies and nothing more, but remember that these three flatout KILLED Ogerpon's friend and wrecked their shared home for those masks. These three aren't just petty thieves, they're murderers with no shame in their shared deed.
Them being zombies actually made sense with their color schemes- Dogi looks rotten and Munki has sunken in eyes with pale blue skin, while Fezen looks like a Jiangshi with more dulled feather coloration- I wonder if they still looked the same in life.

So the "heroes" are basically bullies and the "horrible ogre" is just a sweet girl being bullied?
Once you know this the trio's designs suddenly becomes way more evil looking

And the Trio's magenta accessories was kinda more look like chains. Okidogi's scarf was look like a chained dog collar, Murkidori's head band was actually a chained ring that's based of Sun Wukong's ring head and Fezandipiti's necklaces was look look like a double chain floor. It's look like three of them were originally caught and chained up at their original realm because of mischievous incidents they created but they manage to break the chains and potraying it as accessories when they entered The Pokèmon World for the first time.
I'm pretty sure someday there's probably a judgement deity Pokèmon who was once caught The Royal Trios before the events of this game...
And the chains are also made of poison

I like how their designer links their hidden abilities to them. I can distinctly imagine Munkidori frisking a house, Fezandipiti damaging a lock and Okidogi watching their back while they were stealing Orgepon’s masks.

That animation was there since its debut.
It just wasn't used in-game until SV.

Munkidori: Wants to fit in, but not cool enough and smarter bully.

I imagine Okidoge is the Bully that beats you up to a pulp, Fezandipti the Bully that uses thier fame to keep you down, and Munkidori the smartass bully that pulls off dirty tricks.

I had my Mewtwo named Seelkadoom flatten them.
It's like something's from mystery dungeon, especially "team skull"

I knew from the start, that those three were up to no good. When they first show the Loyal Three, something wasn't right. When the DLC was released, it was proven to be true.
Same for me. I know better than to judge others just by their looks, but it was hard to look at them and believe they were actually heroes.
@Enchilada1994 I know, right? It's like calling Orochi and Kaido as heroes of Wano from One Piece. In reality, both Kaido and Orochi are villains. Technically, Kaido's the true villain in Wano arc, while Orochi was just a mere pawn.
When they first reveal their Abilities, that's when my suspicion between those Loyal Three became higher. I'm kinda curious how pokespe manga and anime are gonna portray them? I hope the anime version doesn't forget the Kitakami region after Journeys neglects Isle of Armor...
@@rodoshehossain7400 You know, it's because of the Toxic Chain ability the reason why I grew suspicious of them, too. 🤣
I mean, seriously. You usually relate poison with nasty people and/or Pokémon. A few good examples IMO are Ghastly, Haunter and Gengar. They're Poison-Types because it was the closest to property describe their nasty personalities before Dark-Type appeared.

tbh the three look a lot like Yokai Watch characters. Especially Okidogi, it looks A LOT like Nekokiyos/Aristokrats boss form (forgot the english name but Nekokiyo Peron)

I gotta give it to them, these fights, if you don’t know they’re coming, are pretty difficult. Them being titan Pokémon actually surprised me the first time and I almost lost.

Wait the second, I'm kinda thinking the Okidoki's scarf, Murkidori's headband and Fezandipiti's necklace were supposed to be chains. It's look like they originally getting chained up at the other realm due to their nature, however they manage to break the chains thus leaving their realm being by entering The Pokèmon World which is then where they having an idea of them getting worshipped by Humans via stealing Ogerpon's masks which is leading her becoming mad then the Loyal Trio kick in action like saviors as Ogerpon who's under an bad rage was trying to find the one who steal the mask.

According to the game, Ogerpon was 100% female while the Three Loyals are 100% male, that means they are three guys bullying a Loli. Damn that sounds so wrong.

when i caught okidogi and fezandipiti i nicknamed them bad doge and scumbirb respectively. haven't caught munkidori yet but will probably nickname him punk monke.

I named them Dogg, Birb, and Moki. They deserve no respect from me (meanwhile Ogerpon is Poki, I caught it in a friend ball, and it’s my bestie now)
I hope they stay consistent and the next DLC starts at least at lv 80 with Cass's team at least at level 90 for the rematch
My friend told me that the loyal three are very sus from the start, and he was right all along and ogerpon is being framed by the trio

It’s so weird since pretty much everybody thought the opposite.
I think there's a comment before mentioning that Fezantipiti is sort of reasonable (male birds tend to look more vibrant than females, kinda given), but Ogerpon is surprising since the Oni in stories typically depicted as males

I killed Okidogi twice, and died another two times before I swallowed my pride and switched to my overlevelled base-game team to spam ultra balls.
Luckily Nintendo gave us a stupidly high Critical Capture rate.

Honestly, I think it would make more sense if Fezandipiti was part Dark because Dark is stronger than Psychic (Munkidori) but weaker than Fighting (Okidogi).

@@ksoundkaiju9256 Kitakami's tales point out that they were deceased and that the inhabitants (thinking they had died to protect them from Ogerpon), buried them with the utmost care, then honoring them as their heroes. But I didn't quite understand how they were resurrected during the DLC, since all that happened was that after losing to you, Kieran got angry and punched a column of their little temple and from there, suddenly, they are resurrected by a column of purple energy. Were their spirits "reinvigorated" by the energy of Kieran's negative feelings? Was it the result of some sort of reaction with the crystals in the Crystal Pool at the top of Ogre Mountain? Had they been Ghost-type instead of Poison-type, one could at least assume that they were their rancorous spirits... but so it is not at all clear what exactly happened and what specifically brought them back to life.
@@zadkal8873 Could be due to Kieran inadvertently bringing the Teal Mask to their shrine? Considering the mask has Tera crystals in it and is also said to revive plant life... okay I know this is a stretch since they're definitely not plants but maybe?

Actually bring a Tinkaton with Own Tempo to fight the bird when you're catching him... I ended up begging to bird to stop fighting and stay in the ball it was so pathetic to watch it constantly power up my Tinkaton and it's only offensive move (Beat Up) doing less than 10 damage to it.

Aside from Fezandipiti, the rest of them look off...design wise. Just another legendaries I don't really care about. Great inspiration though.

I admit i am disappointed.
I look at them as an adult, but even as a young boy i always hated that, species of pokemon that seem to be just naturally evil, why they born like that? It's disturbing.
Somebody tell me i'm not the only one feeling that.
Legendaries in particular i like to see them positive.
Necrozma is also an antagonist, however it has backstory giving it a reason to be like that.
I hope these trio will be explained.
At least i like Ogerpon idea itself. And i was never fond of them aesthetically.
Pokémon are sapient creatures; therefore, they can sometimes be evil douchebags…though this is easily the most extreme example I’ve seen thus far.

@@darkraiknight386 Also there are children at the kitakami hall talking about them and how they look different (Okidogi just get called mean). Munkidori according to one of the the boys looks pale in the face, Fezandipiti is according the girl less pink than she thought. Also the masks look different Munkidoris is more blue, Fezandipitis is way more pink and Okidogis is green with pink face markings.
The dlc was anticlimactic
No it wasn’t we are left with something of a cliffhanger actually.
I can't be more disappointed with this game. 😔 This gen has been so far the most glitchy, uninspired and rushed. And they even increased DLC prize since SWSH. They keep monetazing the National Dex.
Oof, I feel hopeless for my favourite franchise.

Well that's your opinion and I guess trying to change nostalgic fans is useless but for me it's my favorite since a looooong time.
This game have the guts to offer some changes : the paradox are the best since mega-evolution and compare to SwSh and USUM his game are more catchy than I though: if I didn't have my studies I'll finish this game in 2 weeks tops
So it's easy for fans to whine about this game but if he's sooo bad than you think why wasting time to say "boohoo it's bad". Go back to your old game if you're not happy.

@@SchwarzAnthonyBoys18 nostalgia is a thing, but this is an objective fact, the game is rushed and glitchy as no one has been before. Not every complain is subjective or boohoo as you said, and it doesn't invalidate the point. Even Nintendo had to apologize for the state the game was released.
PD: I really liked LA and SWSH but SV is a new bare minimum.

@@youssefyou9191unless this is because three of them aren't involved with the existence of The Pokèmon World and they were probably Pokèmon that was only existed at the other realm (not related to alternative dimensions like The Ultra Beasts), and their status as a Legendary Pokèmon was actually caused that they were worshipped as "saviors" of Kitakami after three of them making Ogerpon look like a threat.
