We tried with a 8hp45 and fried the clutches pretty quickly. We are currently testing out a 8hp50. Im not confident, but we will know soon.
@@ZeroTo60Tube I have a Pure Stage 1 (upgraded clutches) would that work?
@@stonybrooknick I think with pure clutches it would be ok. But definitely speak to pure first. With the clutch pedal you are forcing slip while making a heap of engine torque. TCU support for the 8hp51 is a few month away, but its coming.
I so want to do this to my jzx100 chaser, Time to get rid of the a340
This is witchcraft!!! Amazing work boys
It is amazing how real it feels. Guys trying it for the first time immediately forget they are in an auto and use the clutch to change gear or stop.
Thats so cool. would it be posable to add a clutch petal to my RAM? that would be so sick lol.
You need the Turbo Lamik controller to run the clutch pedal with the 8hp. So if you can make a lamik work in your dodge, you could have a clutch pedal.
Sick !
Parts list needed
I tell customers all the time. If you need someone to give you a list you are not ready to do a swap. Too many take these on damage transmissions or just mess it up and end up with a bad conversion. Dont buy anything until you understad every aspect of the conversion. When you do, you wont need someone to give you a list.
Hi, just saw the update video on the giveaway. How do I collect my 8 speed shirt?
Huge thanks for running the giveaway!
Oh man!!! Email me at 8speed.au@gmail.com. Will need to know your full name and address.
Would these 8-speeds fit into smaller capacity diesels like the ZD30's? Yeah, I know, plenty of haters but the ZD does actually work well when setup right, just sucked backwards with shitty gear spacings of the factory truck cog-swapper....
Why bugger around with a ZD that could explode without notice? Just swap M57 and 8HP as a package. Done deal.
It would be possible. But honestly Probabaly a cheaper exercise to grab a m57 donor car and do the m57 donor then mate it to the 8hp as the m57 to 8hp plates are cheap.
@@trickster8635 Ignorance is bliss, isn't it?
Mine just shy of 500K and still going well.
$950?? Damn, but if you can get a plug n play kit to work with E60 then OK :D
Said cheaper solution but it’s 995.00 AUD 😂
Correct the hydraulic version runs around $300 more.
First
That has to be one of the quickest "firsts" ever
@@ZeroTo60Tube Stop looking at your comments. 😂

@@ZeroTo60Tube if you add all the “Firsts” ever written it’s got to be worthy of a top fan mention or some signed merch……
